I believe that the core Droid and bullet proof custom Roms have this feature. You may want to check them out.

As I understand it, the mod is ROM agnostic.
I am currently running it on Synergy Beta 3. I also used it when I was on Beta 2.

Working for me on InsertCoin 2.3.4 version 2.2.2 with full version of HoneyHD Thyparency skin loaded. The personalize icon doesn't change when reassigned and the color icons in the homescreen menu clash with the rest of the theme but no complaints here. Just stating the facts.

it works on insertcoin
I tried this APKs, but with the first one i got colored Icons in my Dock Bar, they look awful (sorry its only my opinion) and with the other APKs from the Links i got here in this Thread, my Sense Launcher crashed every time

this is not flashable, its for devs to cook with and make it flashable.
You all should use the new HTC sense apk. It might update the previous one. Maybe with limited function, but, doable...

Lol...I believe you're thinking of the HTC HD2 running Windows not the HTC Desire HD running Android paired with the newest incarnation of Sense...

i've got a developer phone...but if your phone is s-off you can root it with superoneclick root

sorry to sound super noob, but uh.. where does one place the odex file? does one install the apk via adb? or simiply push it to /system/app? and does it still need other htc sense framework or can might it work on my mytouch4g (not slide) running cm 7.1?

it will not work on AOSP/CM roms unfortunately. a lot of the functionality is embedded within Sense. I have not done any digging on how to port this camera app so I won't be much help here... sorry.

haha, yea I guess the bad outweighs the good. I'm just sick of the stock camera app with CM7. Looks like I won't be attempting anything.
Can someone post the deodex'd version of HTCCamera? I'm looking to use the MT4G source to help me make some improvements to the EVO 3D. From what I've read the MT4G supports HDR and Burst out of the box. Can somebody confirm this for me? Thanks.

You need to manually use root explorer and replace the existing htccamera.apk file in the system/app folder and change the permissions to whatever the original camera apk was and it should work for you. Sometimes it'll start fc'ing so make sure you do a NANdroid first!
I just managed to get most of the camera settings back on my mt4gs running CM 10 based Xenon port. I tried install (RB), but nothing... finally I hit extract (RB), and suddenly my camera is actually usable... I'm not sure how? But w/e it works now....
So I was trying to find a custom ROM for my international HTC One S but my searches only yielded results for the USA version of the device. Anyone pro care to shed some light??

I take it you blind too because those are for the USA version of the device which is running an S4 chip and isn't compatible with the international version of the phone running an S3 chip.
All new HOS's are running S4 afaik. My brand new EU HOS is S4.
There are som other versions in asia, like the SU and SE, but other than that theyre all S4.
What I mean to say is - S4 isnt an "USA version".

Np dude sorry too but if you said S3 then ya I wouldn't of said it. TrickDroid is your best bet for a rom just make sure you get the right one.

Never mind, looked into the three ROMs available and saw that they aren't that much different from the stock HTC Sense skin. I just wanna get rid of the Sense and get pure Android but oh well, I guess I just have to live with Sense. Thanks anyway.

Could always root and then remove all the crap you don't want and replace it an AOSP version of it.

Well not the skin parts like menus but you can remove pretty much everything of sense but make sure you have apps to replace them installed first.

Very unlikely since the Droid DNA and HTC One have the same resolution screen. It will be difficult to resize the whole ROM.
