Elitemovil Blade_Rom 2.3.5 (r8) (MIX CM & LEAKED) (26/08/11) DATA2EXT - Blade Android Development

Hello, How are we going? Well, here I bring the R8 (cm), then remove the "leak" like the r8 cm. It has greatly improved the level of battery, wifi, bluetooth, gps and data. As you can see I'm using the data2ext, which now will have the maximum memory and speed of ZTE, to 1750 points Aututum to 600Mhz. The rom is patched libsqlite (faster reading and writing), some libs to improve battery consumption. (Required ext3 partition of 1GB or 1.5 GB for user data). The faster the SD, the system faster anger. Added tweaks to increase system speed, SD, battery consumption, CPU and ram control.

1º I always use it for WhatsApp 2G networks, mail, etc. spare me (and I polish the data rate in 2 days) which I do not care.
- Settings - Wireless - Mobile networks - (activated) Use only 2G networks.
2º Always sync manually Market, E-mail or contact (WhatsApp, messenger, etc does not care, are always active).
- Sync settings and accounts - (Off) Reference Data.
3° Off (default is active) GPS in the taskbar. (Where is the Bluetooth and Wifi.) Will make sure that security settings and location is only active Use wireless networks.
4º Inactive animations and screen brightness of the automatic.
5º I have the normal speed processor and 122Mhz minimum.
6º I use the Calibrator's Battery Market (following instructions) and the battery to 100%.
7° With these steps, I increase the battery life.
Note: When you first boot will take some 3 to 5 minutes. When you leave the Android "setup process" will slow the system a bit, it is normal is completing the installation of the menu system. After that now you can work properly.
----- Installation. -----We started the ClockworkMod, we Wipe data / factory reset, Wipe cache, then we enter an advanced Dalvik Wipe Cache and the battery is 100% Battery Status do a Wipe if we do not proceed to make ext3 partition. Advanced, partition SD Card, 1GB and select Swap 0MB (Remember that after partition the SD to copy the rom on the FAT), after doing all that, select the rom to install and expect to complete the process. Once finished the installation process, restart the phone and wait for it to boot the system.

if you look inside you will see its just a build.prop file. I guess the one in the ROM was incorrect or not put in.

First impressions of this ROM are that its pretty amazing Feels smoother and faster to me than CM7. LG Home is pretty smooth and nice too.
Quadrant benchmark is much higher than CM7 I think (1470 @ 600MHz on this. I cant actually remember what it was on CM7 but im sure it wasnt that high)
Also T-mobile Themechooser works on this ROM even though its not included so if you dont like default it can easily be changed... thanks for the effort elitemovil, but the colourful theme isnt to my personal taste

If you use CM 7.0.3 then quadrant is something 890? and if stagefright is enabled then 978p or something like that!
with newest Nightly you get something 1030-1300 P

[ROM G1] Bonsai 1.6.1 (x) BLUO by Misiek_ud [FASTEST EVER SEEN]

OK!. Another pearl from our greatest polish developers, this one without ramhack, and with JIT enabled, so greatest speed for the gamers.
Not so great looking, like Laszlo ROM, but the best speed i've seen without ramhack by now, believe me. Worth the try.
Change log is from every version, so mmake the sum of all...
And of course infamous Google translate, don't shoot the messenger please

http://mirrors.tutaj.to/misiek_ud/BonsaI_1.6.1x_BLUO_signed.zip
Changelog:
Version 1.6.1x BLUO:
- The version without the framework Hack (unfortunately, on this kernel, at boot ROM, instead of the screen with the logo shows a white screen Bonsai - wait patiently until disappears)
Version 1.6.1 BLUO:
- Polish and Gmail Setup Wizard (thanks laszlo)
- JIT Hack
Version 1.6 BLUO:
- Blue theme with SenseHero
- New default wallpaper
- A few new wallpapers in the "gallery wallpapers"
Version 1.6f1-fire:

- Restored Terminal Emulator
Version 1.6f-fire:

$ su
# sh system / ccs.sh
.....................
Full wipe required. And don't look at wallpaper galeries. You could blind yourself.
Screenshots later.
I might try this... but I love the Laszlo ROM so much. Eh, decisions!
Screenshots?
Ill flash it..and give back feedback
I'll give this one a try as well. Been using Donut by Laszlo the last two days and I like the looks except for a few icons(don't like square boxes on my icons) and the speed is real good.
the not so great looking part is perfect, The ROMs posted here should focus on the internal technical aspects, like speed n stability. you wanna worry bout looks goto theme section. Themes are something personal
otherwise good work
i was first to post screens for lazzo's last release... someone care to do that for this
this thing is super fast, minor lag when coming to the first boot and i agree, i prefer a boot loading screen than a white screen...otherwise A+
Here are some screenshots: http://forum.android.com.pl/showthread.php?t=1158
I'm using this rom almost from beginning. My favourite one ;-)
I'm still using 1.6 BLUO with JIT ( by hand ).

Guy, you are crazy. I'm grateful, but it shoulden't be on XDA, between great developer ROM's. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's mine opinion. BonsaI it's mine modification/distribution of some great ROM.
If you install it, you wont disappointed, like author said.
Edit: 5 minutes witout ROM's on server
Actually the fastest ROM
Well, I always keep saying about ROMs that the AOSP outpasses al the rest of the ROMs in this forum, Now that I have used this ROM for a coupl of hours - I kind of having a feeling to keep it running on my G1.
1. According to speed my experience on G1:
CSDI/BLUE MAGIC> BONSAI> AOSP> SupD/Fasttest> Laszlo> and rests
2. The Look is not bad, stability and speed sustainibility wil be reported as sson as I have used this for another couple of days
3. Built in apps choice is really great! - it has ROOT explorer, BT FTP, Quick boot, SetCPU, SU, Taptalker, Sound Recorder by default
4. Built in HTC IME
5. I am liking it
Tried all the ROMs and this one seem to stay on my G1 for longer period after AOSP.
Worth trying!!!
Maybe distributing paid apps is not so good for a rom...
missing some apps from the market. is there newer version of the market out there that is installed on this rom?
I'm impressed. This rom is crazy smooth.

hey bro excellent review. this is how people should review stuff. comparing them to the other roms theyve used, and also providing feedback was to what this rom is good at and bad at (aka a pro's con's list). some people were saying they had reboot issues? i'm guessing yours is running perfect. lazlo's rom was ok but he doesn't respond on feedback and i disliked it because i couldnt install the latin_ime.apk without a force close.
@sino8r- is their latin_ime.apk running in this rom or will it fc as well? if this rom runs well, i am going to theme it to CYANOCH (if you guys remember that is what i put together using CYANOID and ENOCH themes for two roms that had no good themes at that time. currently i am running Pay's rom with advanced launcher because i didnt like home++;i themed it as well to CYANOCH and made it JIT enabled- so far its very smooth.

It's a very fast and light rom with much free memory for apps
It's a nandroid backup, use ADBRecovery, OpenRecovery, or Got OpenRecovery for installation as a nandroid restore after a wipe
Link v1 (EU 02.31): >>>>DOWNLOAD HERE<<<<
Changelog v2:
- Same specs of v1 (fast and light), just the following differences:
- CertInstaller and Gmaps left, Helpcenter removed, update all apps to a newer version
- memhack
- FLAC support
Link v2 (IT 02.38): >>>>>DOWNLOAD HERE<<<<<
For those who want to have Froyo's JIT on my rom, download GOT OpenRecovery ready for script HERE. Once you are in the recovery choose Miscellaneous--->Run Script--->JIT.sh and reboot. That's all. I recommend to apply that on v2 (02.38) where i've tested it.
New Version Fast-Light-Rom "v2a" (18/07/2010)
Changelog (same specs of v2 but..):
- Overclocked 1000Mhz - vsel56max (stock) - conservative governor at boot (but you can change it on setcpu)
- Froyo's JIT included
- New superuser.apk version
- Galaxy S Theme (no Launcher) completely working
Link v2a: >>>>>DOWNLOAD HERE<<<<<
Overclock @ 1000Mhz and vsel56 doesn't work properly on all milestones, so who have problem of loop in motorola logo, please...load v2 not v2a and make by yourselves jit, superuser.apk and test your vsel with got openrecovery. Thank you all!If you want original theme click HERE
I hope you like my work

I've tried 02.38 ITALY and 02.36 DACH before that, dalvik doesn't work as it should and so other mods. That rom is (in my experience of use) much more fast and has a lot of free memory. Alarm and other stuff are changed in my backup so i don't need a newer rom that changes things i've already corrected.
If you'll try it, let me know your opinions about it.
Cheers.
p.s. if you like TS v2b rom, you'll appreciate it
hmmm this rom is quite good for people that want balance between stock-looking android gui ready for modding by changing launchers etc. and powerfull underhood tweaks.
Fast scrolling, fast moving in menu. Up to 193 MBs free memory for apps, preconfigured operators apns (it set apn for me - orange pl). Rom is very nice, at first look everything work ok. I give You feedback after short tests.
As for me - in this ROM should be included one more small app - APNdroid or Toggle data and it will be almost perfect
Good work and keep going
Thanks for your advises, you are always welcome
Yes, my backup is simple and let everyone to choose its personal look and favourite apps but there's a lot of substance inside it
I'll prepare a rom based on the new greece released by motorola
hmmm music on speaker don't work - system sounds like new sms work ok. I try system player, meridian and rockplayer... where is a problem? // Solved - just plug normal headphones, play music and unplug. Work.
second problem i have with pairing my BT stereo headphones - stone see them, but don't identify - there only is mac adres. After i choose "Pair & connect" i recive "sorry, can't to pair" (or something like that about pairing, it appear in polish language and i can't translate correctly) // Solved - it looks like motorola can't pair with any devices when she runs as wireless modem in WiFi tether. After turning off tethering, it paired without any problems... my fault
You have same problems?
The first one doesn't exist for me, i use default player without bugs.
Your "second issue" as you described then isn't a real problem just turn off tethering (it's normal)
Sounds great, will wait for you to update to the new Motorola Greece update as older versions restart my phone often

No no , it's just adwlauncher on my personal customization. Rom is fast and light and let you choose your best. Launcher is default one motorola
Specs are described in the first post
Didn't get to trying it out yet, but may I suggest removing default launcher completely and replacing it with ADW/LauncherPro? Even TouchWiz launcher would be good

I've chosen default launcher because of stability and "stock look". ADWlauncher or LauncherPro have continuos updates, better do that in data/app. TouchWiz it's not completely work.
Those are simple look modifications that i let to your personal taste.
That rom has much substance
I see.
I will try it out and let you know my results
today i restore my old backup with TS ROM v2 - i need to pull out from phone some data... Your ROM is twice time faster than my old - great job, i wont go back after experience with Your rom. In polish language there is a phrase describing very, very fast thing - "zapierdala jak królik po koksie" - and Your ROM is fast like this
Keep ugrading

Are you talking about Launcher Pro?
And one more thing..when r8 is going to be released?
I really love this rom so far.Its the most smooth available im sure.
Im was using cm7 so I miss the odd thing but this is certainly a great start.
I did a 4.5 hour bike ride using gps with the app imapmyride. I refer to the app quite abit during this time.
The battery drain for this was 30% which is much better than I was getting from cm7 N136. I would say as an estimate this is giving a batt saving of 15-20%.
Everything feels that bit smoother with this rom also.
My wish list would be powerwidget built into notification menu (like cm7) that allows the user to decide whats on the bar.
A bigger menu when hitting the powerbutton to reflect what cm7 has.

No I think he was referring to LauncherPro being a Warez in the previous version.
I left my phone on overnight with this rom and it lost 1%!!
Ok I have some more to reveal from my days use on this rom.
This rom simply has the best battery life ive seen.
I started the day with 35% and ive used the phone for lots of sms and a few phone calls. Each call lasted about 5mins approx.
Also ive used apps for at least 1hour.Ive also done some internet surfing and youtube watching also with wifi on for about 30mins.So its been a fairly busy day for the phone.
In this time (about 13hours) it has gone from 35% to 11%. Personally I find this amazing for a smart phone or maybe I just got used to cm7 battery life!
Is this the same performance others have experienced with GSF or Blue ginger? I didnt know it got this good to be honest!

This helps to improve battery life:
Download r8 APP2SD here.
Thanks!
nice! REALLY NICE! I will test it because I added and failed with one boot.img from CM7 in Tejo Sunshine so games not work correctly So I need new ROM and I will test first your ROM!

I have flashed mine as well Dave and it seems to be working fine. The market is a little slow, due to its new layout etc, but it runs with no issues for me.
My Wi-Fi also is good. Using WPA, not a hidden SSID, and a Netgear router.
Ok thanks alot Vimes, I will erase all and try and flash again.
seems looks like 2.3.4
i can use the mobile+3g enable with r8 for 1 day
hmm, r8.2 with live wallpaper not so smooth
I reflashed and still had the market fc issue. I flashed a different rom and had no issues,so it must be an issue with this rom...damn annoying!
Also the small keyboard I found pretty frustrating to use!
Any ideas Elitemovil?

Is there any changes to the lock screen? The reason I ask is that I never liked the original one in this ROM. Great ROM though!

Not really. Changing the lock screen would require code change. I actually like the lock screen layout.
The best I could suggest would be "WidgetLocker" or "GoLocker".
Cheers.
since it's around 105mb, it shlould fit in ogygen r2 hboot, if it's to big, i think you should remove something useless like sounds/whatever, maybe checkout something from dgb, maybe steal the font or use another launcher.
i try to flash it right now, hopefully it works
Congrats zedmarcus, I've downloaded it now and will give it a test once I've got chance with my phone
Unfortunately my girlfriend doesn't let me get much time to do ROM / phone stuff at the weekend so I will probably have to test this Monday!
Looking forward to it though, I've not used Redux for ages but I think it was the first custom ROM I put on my phone when I rooted!
seems not to work in oxygen r2 hboot :-(
Hmm... A couple of things I've seen need changing. Version 2 this week.
Cheers.

Battery percentage is built in as an option in settings. Just go to the "interface" options and turn it on.

Drop down quick settings/notification menu should be solid not transparent... imho. It will be clearly more visible. Thats just my opinion..

Nice rom, love the look, i havent had the need to mess with uot kitchen. I have been using it for one day and its smooth with no fc. I noticed that apps2ext did not work until I flashed the delvic and apps zip. I would prefer to have delvic in the system memory. Has any one else had this issue? I'm on cm7r2 with 1.5ext.
One other thing I like having 5 points on the dock bar, so I'm using go launcher at the moment, and there is no noticeable lag. Any chance of modifying the dock bat to 4 or 5 apps?
16hours of medium use and at 59%,
Again great rom!

I use a dark coloured background on my phone so I quite like the transparent pulldown as most things are pretty visible anyway, but I get what you're saying. I'll have a look for V2.

I use GoLauncher myself as well (with an ICS theme it looks really good), but I like the fact that on android people have the choice to put whatever launcher over the top that they want. I'll have a look at the dock bar and see what I can do (not promising anything mind).
I've been using it with the new thalamus r4 kernel (found the link to it somewhere on here - I'll post the link later as I'm at work right now), and am getting really good battery life myself (Ondemand, Screenstate scaling "on"). No lag anywhere that I can find.
Cheers.
