Hello! I tried installing a new kernel on my G2X from this thread. I used the CM DL over the DS.

I believe I made the mistake of clearing all cache instead of just the Davlik Cache and am unable to get ROM Manager as I fear I may have wiped it from my phone. Subsequently I am stuck in a boot loop after the LG screen loads and just get a black screen.
I tried flashing my ROM back to Stock ROM from NVFlash and was able to do that successfully. I could not continue with the steps in the thread below past Step 5 as I just get a black screen after the LG logo loads.

Did I permanently brick my phone or is there a way to recover from this? Thanks for any help!
You need to flash cwm 5020 with the nv flasher. Then you can install any rom you want and boot successfully. It sounds like you are not installing a real recovery. Any other questions just PM me or email at [email protected]. You are not bricked.

Okay so I'm really thinking I bricked my phone but I hope I did not! I am phone-less right now.
First, I changed my stock ROM to MIUI Android 2.4.6 but it started to slow down a couple of hours later so I wanted to switch back to my stock ROM. I backed it up on my SD card and when I wiped data and cleared all cache in recovery mode, I went to backup and restore and tried to restore my stock ROM.
It said MD5 sum not found and it was an error. Right now I am stuck on the recovery mode without any other ROM to flash other than the stock ROM I thought was gonna work that was in my SD card. Now that I'm at the recovery mode menu, when I try to select on something, a Android opened box with an arrow coming out of it pointing towards an Android icon is showing up.
EDIT: Problem was resolved by taking out the battery and putting it back in which allowed me to boot back into CWM and flash another rom.
i downloaded humberos and decided i didnt like it because it doesnt run in tablet ui. i had done a full back up with twrp and restored it bak after the samsung logo i just get a blank screen so i wiped system and data and just installed redemption mod again clean install. again just a blank screen. why does cyanogen just brick your device if u wanna just go back defeats the purpose of a backup if i gotta flash the original samsung stock rom again can anyone help thanks
Wiped everything and have no back ups anymore. Cant figure out how to install a rom. TWRP and Download mode still work but No matter what I flash I get stuck at samsung loading screen. Halp?!
Trying to get Tekxodus installed on my N920T which currently has nothing on it.
Still can not figure out what Im doing wrong. I wiped internal storage which I know I shouldnt have but when I flash Tekxodus I get caught in a bootloop until the phone powers off to charge. Even flashing skyhigh kernal after the rom does nothing. Still boot looping.
Use download mode to Odin back to stock. Then re-send twrp. Let it boot first. Then go back to twrp and flash your rom
I was able to restore a stock rom, install twrp successfully but this rom (teksodus) does not boot no matter how I flash it. Stuck at samsung screen again but this time on a custom samsung load screen. If I flash a new kernal I get stuck at the black samsung screen. Haha its been too long since Ive done this.
Got it all sorted, thanks!
