Update: This rom uses Launcher Pro as the default launcher. It currently will not update from the market. There is a fix. To make it as easy as possible, there will be an update.zip posted to help as soon as Blackdroid can whip one up.
Update: To those wondering, as of right now 4G does not work. There is no option for 4G. Also, it it undetermined whether HDMI-out works. If someone could please report after testing, it would be greatly appreciated. Gotta love AOSP.

The dev has not been able to test 4G to confirm or deny. If anyone who is in a 4G area could please test and report, I would greatly appreciate it.

I went to Ultimate Settings>Modified Apps>Modified Browser>Install Browser... it runs the script but when I try to open the browser it force closes. It even does it when I attempt to revert back to the stock browser.

Really, what's the point of forcing people to register just to download the rom? In the end you will have a bunch of users with no posts.

Did you download it from your phone or a computer?
Try wiping everything twice (cache/dalvik)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Read These TWICE)
You must be on MIUI Rom And open superuser in Tools > Settings > Allow applications to request ROOT permission (ON)
Keep your data connection (wifi preferably) ON.
Reboot in Recovery
Goto MOUNTS & STORAGE
MOUNT - System, Datadata, SDCARD and DATA <== MOUNT THEM.. do NOT Format them.
Go Back
Choose & Flash file downloaded.
Advanced => Fix Permissions
Reboot
LET IT SETTLE FOR 5-7 MINUTES AFTER BOOT
Do not add any account, press Home Key, Grant root permissions if asked. Keep your data connection ON.
Reboot.
Let it settle for next 5 minutes.
Add your accounts.
Enjoy.
Post-install recommendations:
No Launcher Settings required to be changed v3.0 onwards.
If any app gets updated internally or via market it placed itself on last homescreen, do place it back in respective folder.
Recommended to use max freq 1000Ghz.
Grab and flash Extended settings from below. Looks cool!
Give reboot whenever feel lag. Also do remove widgets which you don't use.

Do I need to or will it Wipe Data ?
NO, it can be installed easily on your stock/custom MIUI Rom.
I have to place some icons myself like Radio icon, blah blah blah..
As this MOD is developed on Vibrant. You may need to move your ass and do place 1-2 icons yourself wherever you like. Else send me one I9000.
What kernel are you using in this??
NO kernel included in this mod. It is always recommended to flash desired kernel before this MOD to ensure tweaks remain intact. Recommended to set max freq to 1000MHz for better battery life.
My icons seems misplaced?
This happens when internal update takes place. Place it back in respective folder.
My widget disappeared, what do I do next?
Nothing. Keep data connection on. And give a reboot.
It will appear. If not remove and re-add by long press.
The Live Wallpaper provided goes into half loaded state on each homescreen, what do I do?
Nothing, it will fix itself. However, if you want quick fix.. use Auto Killer and Kill all apps.
Is this available for or Can I use this for <some other> phone?
You can always try Universal Version.

Definitely, you didnt followed STEP 4 of mounting data, datadata, system, sdcard.

You should post this in the Fascinate forum as well. And I believe there is an issue in your build.prop or something. Nobody flash this yet unless you know how to get out of it, I've been trying to get this to work.

We use scripts and components, which uses most of the roms at XDA.
Most of them we had to adapt itself to work well together and you can not say that it was a light and enjoyable.
In addition, scripts, and other components (such as Aroma installer) are published precisely in order to use them, do not you think?
Especially for you ad0dh as for the main manager of the all developers at XDA , but first of all, the real developers, we put everything together and thank all those whose work we used. But the need for some time.
And one more thing - very please refrain from the stupid texts is not the point. Do it yourself privately.

I have the same problem in Talk, fonts for active users are white and I cant see it.

I see on your screenshot that you have a dark background on the power menu, so U have to change "something" in the framework because the default is white bg. Changing the background (inverse) color U changed fonts color because U have a white font on white background...

I know where is the problem... In the custom installation we can check the add applications we want to install, first one on the list install this black Power Menu...

LoLa, thanks for creating so many wonderful ROMs for this device. I have moved to Note 2 but have gifted the I9003 to a family member and it is currently running your Carbon ROM A4 I think, not very stable. I want to update to a stable 4.2.2 ROM and wanted your suggestion on which is a suitable ROM. I need only a stable ROM with best battery life, good sound and some customizations like center battery and toggles. Not really going to play heavy games or anything. Which ROM from all the ones you have made do you suggest, or any other ROM?

I took the time to check right now
wifi works perfectly
you must make a clean flash and format the system and I think EMMC
gapps can conflict !!

for the use of hybrid I recommend 190 for an example settings.apk

WiFi, 3G, Bt, Pie controls, swap sd, reboot, mods & tweaks works fine.
The customization is great, lot of options and mods all working perfectly for me.
Battery consumption is also better than dhiru's cm10.1 alpha6. I'll post stats tomorrow, i hope.
The system is very very stable. No sods or random reboots. Apollo fc once, but just once, camera hd player and recorder also works.

For using this rom for about 3 days.. this is what i encounter... Either it always comes up in a day that my wifi or my cellular doesnt work means Wifi cant be on and Celular has no signal... the method i used to fix whenever dis happen is turn off remove sd then insert sd the power on it works but its annoying that it happens on this rom

I present my rom Demandroid Kit Kat 4.2.1 V1.2 modified with android 4.4 apps and graphical style. This rom is only for Hero H9500+, Caesar A9600 and Zopo zp910/zp900h

Visual style similar to android 4.4 Kit Kat.
Keyboard, gallery, camera, calendar, mail, launcher with Voice Recognition and google now, hangouts app, fonts, tones, settings and phone icons, and wallpapers (only google home launcher) from Kit Kat.

Zipaligned.
Rooted.
Suppot init.d.
Busybox.
Bravia Engine 2.
Tweaks: Picture and video quality, 3g speed, web browsing speed, Camera flash, Battery saving wifi and video streaming.
Spanish language by default.
All times changed Europe / Brussels
Changed region to Spain
Added access to engineer mode,test and factory mode from developer options.

Installation and first steps:
Backup of installed applications if you do not want to lose them.
Backup the entire system with CWM.
Install zip.
Install Update Demandroid kit kat v1.1 zip.
Install Update Demandroid kit kat v1.2 zip
Wipe caché and dalvik.
Restart.
Select android keyboard on Settings / Language and Text or run the keyboard app on the app menu.
If you want to use google now need to add the google account.
To use the voice recognition in the launcher is necessary go into google now voice settings and change the language to English (U.S.) and download the english package on Speech Recognition Offline option (22 mb).
Bugs:
Editor's picture gallery does not work.
Alarm sounds a second and turns itself off. (Fixed in v1.1 upgrade, check before use please)

everything works, upsetting the FM radio. Refuses to work . Going search for stations . No more reactions to pressing, except exit button Home.
What could be the problem. What am I doing wrong .

:good: do not forget to calibrate the battery.

Very nice ROM it runs very smooth!. Still not convinced about the landscape lockscreen (it's a bit buggy sometimes).
Anyway, it's really good and i strongly recommend it. Keep on it!
