[Help]Unable to search for apps in Market

I am not able to search for any apps in the market.
Usually ended up with 'no results'
When I attempted to install the app from website on my desktop, it's greyed out for TF101, but they are available for SGS 2.
The above error only appear recently, when I switch rom.
Can anyone help? Driving me nuts :/
Hi!
Had similar problem with my p-1010. I got it and logged in first time overseas in some god forgotten country. Nothing helped. Now my kid has it and there is absolutely no problem with it. But all the time I was able to search, download, purchase apps for my SGS?
I asked for help from google staff. Their answer was: (keep in mind, those shortcuts and paths are for SGT P-1010. Yours are probably different. But procedure is the same)
- Power cycle the device
- Turn Airplane mode on and off. This turns off and on Wi-Fi. To do so go:
Settings > Wireless & networks. Check Airplane mode. Wait a minute or two.
Uncheck Airplane mode.
- Delete and re-establish your Wi-Fi network. To get it back, you will
need the security type and SSID for your wireless network. To do so go:
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings > Wi-Fi. Uncheck Connected
to "your network here".
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi networks. Tap your network. Write
down the security type. Tap Forget.
Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi networks. Tap Add Wi-Fi network.
Enter the SSID and security type for your network. Tap Save.
Connect to your network.
If the issue persists, I recommend you perform a factory reset on your
device. Please note that this will reset your device to its original
state. While your media content (photos, music, etc.) will not be deleted
from the SD card, applications and their related data will be uninstalled.
Before the factory reset, make sure that your contacts are synced to your
Google account by logging into Gmail from a computer and verifying if your
contacts appear there. If your contacts are not synced, then I recommend
updating your sync settings at Settings > Accounts and Sync and choosing
either AutoSync or touching the account you would like to sync and
choosing "Sync Contacts."
Along with syncing contacts, please back up any important application data
and/or settings by navigating to Settings > Privacy and selecting "Back
up my data'"and "Automatic restore."
To perform a factory reset:
1) Go to Home > Menu > Settings > Privacy (or Phone storage; depends on
the device)
2) Press "Factory data reset"
3) Press "Reset phone" (or "Reset tablet")
After you perform the factory reset, make sure you sign into your device
with the same primary Google Account you were using before. If you have
any questions or concerns before performing the reset, or if doing so does
not resolve the issue, please let me know so I can continue to investigate
the issue.
Maybe this will help. If not, try Chomp.
thanks!
The steps did not help much, but chomp sure did. guess i have to stick to chomp for now.

That's because the apps that you are looking for are not available for your Transformer.

Google Now no longer shows anything

I've just got a Nexus 5 and live in China. Google Now no longer does anything. It just searches. No cards or anything.
It worked fine on my Galaxy Nexus with 4.3, but on my N5 it does nothing.
Is it related to being in China? I noticed Location settins now say, "Google Location Reporting: Not available in China," but I don't see why that is entirely applicable to all of Google Now functionality. After all, not all functions are related to my location.
Any suggestions?

Google Now is locked down pretty tight by China as our many of google's services. The only two ways I know of solving this problem are:
1. Activate your device from a country where Google Now is not blocked
2. Activate your device with a SIM card from a country that is not blocked. For example, I have a ATT sim card, and even though it doesn't work in China I do the following. Power down my device and pop out the China mobile SIM card and put my ATT one in. Boot into recovery and do a factory reset. Once the phone boots up and goes through the set-up process enter your google username and password and let it sync with the Google service. The next screen you will is the option to use Google Now. Opt in to google now and set it up. Once that is all down, i power down the device take the ATT sim card out and put the China Mobile back in. Google now will be working once you power the device back up.
I've tried every means known to mankind, including VPN, Proxy server, market enablers and those two methods are the only ones that work for me.
Activate Google Now using Fake GPS app
Had the same issue & I tried this on my Nexus 5 and works like a charm. Worth the trouble.
1) Switch the phone to Airplane mode (re-enable Wifi, it's needed later on & make sure you're around a working WiFi hotspot)
2) Go to Location settings and switch to "Device only" mode
3) Download Fake GPS app (can be downloaded from Google Play store for free)
4) Set the location to London (or any other place with guaranteed access to Google Now)
5) Open Google Setting > Search > Account & privacy > Google Account and sign out
6) Disable Google Play Services under Settings > Apps > All (uninstall updates if it asks you to do so)
7) Open search settings (as explained in step 5) and signin to your Google account
8) The Google Now terms and conditions should now come up*
9) Select the option "Yes, I'm in"
10) Re-enable Google Play Services, disable Airplane Mode, remove Fake GPS app, enable the location setting of your choice under Settings.
11) Enjoy Google Now!

Same here, HTC M8 in China, none of the solutions work.
I know that some google Services are blocked in China. This may be included.
Doesn't work on Lollipop anymore.
Does not work on Lollipop for me anymore. Once Google Play Services are disabled, I cannot sign in to my Google account anymore. There is not even an option for Google accounts. Any ideas?
Just download Market Unlocker
Set it to load on boot. Choose a us market and you will have Google now and Google Fit both working

[Solved] Google Now Not Showing Any Cards on Note 3

From the day I got my Note 3 (SM 900), which is totally stock, my Google Now would not show any cards and would say that location is not available in my region. After a some searching I found a couple of solutions, many of which required rooting, which i would definitely not go for. Finally on the Nexus 5 forums, i found a solution given by yasirnasir which was simple and reasonable and by jove it worked perfectly.
This is the original link to his solution.
Since his solution was a nexus 5 guide, for your convenience I'm modifying it slightly for the Note 3:
1) Long press the power button and switch the phone to Airplane mode (Important: re-enable Wifi, it's needed later on & make sure you're around a working WiFi hotspot)
2) Go to Settings >Location>Mode and switch to "Power Saving" mode
3) Download Fake GPS app (can be downloaded from Google Play store for free)
3a) Go to Settings>Developer Options and tick Allow mock locations.
4) Set the location to London (or any other place with guaranteed access to Google Now)
5) Open Settings>General>Accounts>Google > Search > Account & privacy > Google Account and sign out
6) Disable Google Play Services under Settings > Application Manager > All (uninstall updates if it asks you to do so)
7) Open search settings (as explained in step 5) and signin to your Google account
8) The Google Now terms and conditions should now come up*
9) Select the option "Yes, I'm in"
10) Re-enable Google Play Services, disable Airplane Mode, remove Fake GPS app, untick mock locations in developer tab and enable the location setting of your choice under Settings.
11) Enjoy Google Now!
Hope I could be of help and thanks again to yasirnasir for his solution.

[Completed] Ok google settings not showing anymore

When i go in google settings ->Search and Now ->Voice -> Ok google detection , the only option available is from the google app, but the "retrain voice model" and "from any screen" option is not there(its not greyed out, its just not there), even though i had the option there before. A few days back i had cleared the playstore data and used a vpn to install pokemon go , idk if that messed it up or something but yea .
Which device?

Question J716F wont connect to google.

Hey guys, i just cant connect to any google services anymore on my J716F. Google Play Services is installed, play store is install but i get the "There was a problem communicating with google services, try again later" message.
Any idea how to fix it?
I cleared all the caches, i did a factory reset and nothing...

- Go to settings, app management, 3 dots button on the right,
select google basic service, turn it off,
- go back to google play service by typing google p in the search box of settings, delete all data, and delete all updates by pressing the three dots button on the right.
- Go back to turn on google basic service,
- go to enable google play store by typing goog p in the search box of settings, then select google play store, - enable
- go to settings - Google - login again
