Dialer Problem - Thunderbolt General

I am having a problem with Tbolt on GB. Every few minutes the dialer will come up while browsing the phone. I can be doing anything. It has happened with Liquid Gingersense, Gingeritis, and Gingeritis 3D. I have used the stock radio as well as the two newest leaks but I can't see how the radio would effect that.
I have posted in the bugs section of those roms with no response. Anyone else seeing anything similar or can suggest a fix?

great screen... but thats about it. single core & samsung way behind still on froyo official release..
i keep reading horrible issues on the g2x... so im kinda worried, i get the phone tomorrow as a replacement... but the more i read it seems the people with issues are running stock, does upgrading the rom really fix all the common issues? I keep reading recommendations for weapon for being the most stable. How about stable CM7?
Thanks guys
I havent had any problems running weapon except once in awhile some random reboots. Right now im running MIUI 1.10.28 and its running perfect. But flashing a different rom than stock fixes most of the problems. Hopefully you dont get one with screen bleeding. I had one and it was really bad almost half the screen looked horrible
GPS is a important factor for me, which rom has GPS working correctly?
Hit and miss with GPS. What I mean is some have problem while others don't. I never had a problem with my GPS(Stock or custom rom) there is a GPS fix never looked into it since mine works. Some people having apn issues with some roms, a hard reset usually fixes this. What you going to want to see is if the phone has bad light bleed, or reboots like crazy and get hot, feels like its overheating.

Problem with random flickering of search button ?

Hi all
I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem as me here.
Ever since I installed ics onto my nexus s. Both asop+ and cybergr roms
I've been experiencing this thing where the search button just keeps on going off.
Sometimes it goes away in a bit...sometimes it doesn't. And I would need to do a battery pull to have it go away.
This happens when I use glados kernel. Matrix 1.45 and 1.5
I'm not sure why this it happening...hoping someone can enlighten me here.
Thanks !
its a known problem on the ns specifically the i9020a. i belive its something to do with the radio. some people have reported changing radios has helped but i dont think there is a solid fix yet. i have experienced this on gingerbread and ics.
hope this helps

Haptic feedback just randomly stops working.

Hey everyone I have a problem on one of my sensations and just want to see if anybody knows of a fix for this. The haptic feedback on my sensation will just randomly quit working and really no telling how long it will take to start up again. I thought that this was from or even app related but even on a fresh install of my miui rom, insert coin ice, virtuous inquisition, or even quattro this randomly happens. Some can't pinpoint it to ics or gingerbread. Also ruled out rom because it happened in 4ext recovery last night as well. So I figured that this must be a hardware issue so gave T-Mobile a ring and they said it is a known issue with sensation and to install an app called sound manager which has vibrate settings in it. This just sounds like a load of BS and I'm wondering if there is something from one of the ruu's that this phone needs. Both mine and my wife's sensations have been updated all the same and mine never comes across this issue. Anybody got a good idea for me to go after?

inspire gyro/auto rotate? sensor broke?

my inspire is about 7mths old. I've flashed numerous roms and never had a problem with the auto rotate feature. but not long ago I tried to use Google Sky one night and it wouldn't work correctly. so I checked the sensor using Elixr and it's not getting a reading at all. no pitch/roll etc. any ideas?
right now I'm running Icecoldsandwich 7.3 with kernel lordmod 9.5.1 CFS. any suggestions or ideas let me know.
btw thinking maybe it was the Rom or kernel I did a full wipe and flashed back to a Rom i know worked at one point (MikRunny) and it still didn't work. so I went back to ICS 4.0.4.
I have the same problem. Nothing seems to fix it. I've tried rebooting, resetting, re-flashing, and flashing different ROMs. Could it just be a hardware problem?
I reported the same problem here about a month ago. This seems to be a fairly common problem with Inspire. The Inspire forum on the htc site has five pages full of unresolved complaints. I suspect that it is hardware related.

Did you drop it? Or could be the application itself.

Which ICS Roms have the SMS delay fix?

I recently flashed my first rom, going from stock 2.3.3 to Fallout 4.4.0. I always had the sms delay issues on 2.3.3, since flashing Fallout 4.4.0 I've still got the issue, but I also have text messages going missing as well.
Do any of the ICS custom roms have the SMS delay fix built in? Or is there a way to apply the fix to any rom I use?
Thanks
I've never had any issue with text messages going missing or any delay issues, either on stock or (currently) on CM9.
Are you sure it isn't a hardware issue with your particular phone instead of software?
It is a noted issue with some Desire S handsets. Why it's only some I don't know. There are a lot of users with this issue - link. It's also been discussed here on XDA.

I do vaguely remember something to do with this issue, but I think it was solved by an HTC update a long time ago. I can't imagine that any current ROM has this issue - it was a base software fix, not an add-on fix AFAIK.
If you are getting this now then I suspect it is something other than the ROM causing the problem.

That link also points to the software update that brought the Android version up to 2.3.5 as fixing the issue, why didn't you upgrade to 2.3.5? I still think it has something to do with your hardware and the fact it is only some would make me think that even more.
I presumed that any rom after 2.3.5 would have the fix but it was still happening on the ICS rom I tried. Today I have flashed 2.3.5 (version 2.10.401.9). I've still got sms delay
It's looking like it's not a software issue but I don't understand how it could be a hardware issue. Surely a hardware fault would mean they either do come through or don't, not the occasional delay or one going missing. So far my phone doesn't seem to have dropped signal when idle, so it 'may' have fixed something at least!
If my memory serves me correctly then the issue was related to the radio that came with the 1.47 update many moons ago
Sywepd form my DsereiS
That's interesting. Perhaps I could update to a custom rom and change the radio. So far the delays have been very short and none have gone missing so it's definitely better than before. I'd hate to be stuck on gingerbread though.
