I got my HTC inspire 4g from ATT yesterday and I am going to unlock it soon.
However, If I unlock or root the phone, is that anyway I can apply other language ( such as Japanese or Chinese) to my phone??

Hey. I've a HTC 7 Mozart, and it's simlocked on Orange. I would like to know, if it's possible to unlock it with a jailbreak or an other solution, but free. Or if my Mozart won't be simlocked if I unlock it with CHEVRONWP7.

Most GSM carriers world-wide will unlock if you ask them to. Agreed that this would be a nice thing to have, though - AT&T in the US is one of the very few exceptions I've ever encountered.
However, it may be too device-specific for a general-purpose solution. Does anybody know if the SIM-lock is implemented by the OS or somewhere in the device-specific driver stack?
I try to flash my HTC with a european ROM. If it doesn't work, i'll use a site with who I can Have the code for unlock my htc.

I bought a Telekom GER branded HTC Sensation on the Internet but because I wanted an unbranded device I followed the guide to S-Off, set the Carrier ID to HTC__102, to have an "originally" unbranded device, installed the [RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.35.401.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_198179_signed.exe] and changed back to S-On. But because I didn't find a branded Stock ROM, I would like to know if I could send it to HTC without losing my warranty. It would be great if someone could tell me if HTC has a tool to find out.

I'd go through the CID steps again and put the original numerals back if it were mine...
No I really don't have a problem with my fantastic Sensation, but I was just wondering if they would recognize it.

I buy a htc trophy unlocked from amazon, the device auto update to tango by zune, in this process the phone now dont work the 3G data connection.
Please tell me, the right ROM to update, i'm confused about the ROM for this GSM, vodafone telephone.
