[Q] HELP: infoTM Device Edit build.prop File

I'm fairly new to Android OS devices. I picked up a Sylvania SYNET7LP tablet running Android 2.2 OS.
Looking to utilize every inch of this device, but being held back, because it is recognized by most apps as an "unknown" device.
I would like to modify the build properties file to do so.

tf700t bugged build.prop? android 4.0.3

Hey guys,
I seem to be having some problems.
I have been trying to get games (such as order & chaos) to work on my device.
I have tried changed the build.prop to other devices (to trick play store) but no luck.
recently I read about changing pixel density but its not in my build.prop? I've seen some other
build.props and they seem to have allot more information than mine.

You can add
ro.sf.lcd_density=
followed by a desired number to your /system/build.prop file, but always remember to do some backups.
In case you get into trouble, here follows the stock build.prop for WW 26 firmware, just remember some lines should read "US" in your version:

When you're done, tell us if this method of "changing" the pixel density is the one that your apps were in fact trying to read.

I wasn't using the = when I had attempted it before.
but it still didn't fool the play store.. I found a apk that was modified for the tf101 but it crashes after loading the level.
guess I'll have to wait for gameloft to update.

I did Google around for ROMs and a rooting process and whatnot, but I just could not find one. Anything will do at this point.

I need these as well. Tried TechNow, got my build.prop screwed over by Uberizer. Tried to flash CookieRom, partitions messed up, 0x162 error in livesuite been flashing roms all night. No good.

I haven't tried this image yet, but I have downloaded it. I have a 8GB WiFi-only Galaxy Tab 2 that was recently given to me. GT-P3113 is ONLY WiFi-only Galaxy Tab 2, so the CSC (XAR/XAC) doesn't matter too much because there isn't even a cellular radio installed and CSC would otherwise only affect WiFi channel and power regulation, which are the same in USA and Canada.

Everything seems to match up for my tablet, so after I get a nandroid saved, I'm going to give it a shot. My tablet runs fine stock, but I'd like that little bit of extra space and the Xposed framework.

I found a XAC image and compared it to Thepooch's image. Except for things he did like deodexing, they are identical. build.prop, feature.xml, others.xml, all the same. XAR should work fine for you.

build.prop for Kurio 7s needed!

Hi guys, I've managed to screw up my friends Kurio 7s attempting to change it's ID for the play store, so now the play store doesn't connect at all. douh! And brilliant me didn't back it up before I started editing it, so now even a factory reset cant save me. (as I've discovered)
So... I was hoping some kind soul here may have one of these devices that they could backup theirs and possibly bail me out by sharing it with me?

Just download a stock ROM and flash it...or just copy the built.prop from the stock ROM

that was the first thing I thought of, but unfortunately the stock rom for that device isn't available online, least not that I could find.
found one for the 7, but not the 7s.

please, someone has to have one of these devices! I'm desperate. My friend is still in the dark about what I have done to his device and I want to keep it that way. please someone help!
if it makes it any simpler of a request, I don't necessarily need the entire file, but just a copy of the text of the first half of the build.prop

no joy huh... guess I'm going to have to face the music and tell my friend what I did.
