Major thanks to Xboarder for letting me use his ROM as a base.
I've been trying to port ICS for quite some time, but have not been able to just with the SDK. Instead I created a small theme for a stock AOSPish ROM and took out some stock features and replaced them with ICS applications. This ROM is fast, the themeing has gotten a lot better from my last ROM, and is very stable. I put a lot of time into this so please check it out!

Installation:
1) Boot into clockwork recovery
2) Wipe the cache and do a factory reset
3) Install the zip file
4) Reboot it again after first boot
5) you are good to go

Hey tomorrow when I come from the waterpark I will install a ROM with ASOP phone contacts and all that and will try to port them to this ROM k?
Just so so,with sense my free ram can up to 325M of course,i delete lots of apps
Because you could take off htc stuff from the original htc rom: I wonder if you can tear off the carousel thingy from Sense 3.0 but keep htc weather/clock widget running?

To bad some of the Sense apk's are kept.
Especially the Htc dialer is a pain in the a** when it comes to lowering the dpi.
i got dialer to work. update coming with everything aosp except for the camera, i might release another update since there are some bugs still with the phone
When can we expect a update with phone apk cuz i might install this todayy if the update is going to take a while?
not sure yet, its working on my phone right now but when i make it a zip and flash i keep getting fc so not sure what the problem is
EDIT: its not going to work, outgoing is fine but incoming calls do not register and you get a fc. Will post another version with everything stock except the phone/dialer. If someone can help me that would be great.
Maybe upload the zip some of the great developers here can def help you with that..
Only thing i seen so far.. Message app force closes when you click on settings.. Old Market..

This is excellent. I must know how you got the AOSP Contacts & Dialer working. I tried and failed (multiple times). The lack of sorting by last name in the Sense version is a laughable oversight by HTC.

When you go in to the Calendar and click on More then Calendars it Force Closes.

I use Beautiful Widgets which is available from the market for about $2.00. It gives a lot of options including many clock and weather skins. There is a smaller widget included that uses less screen real estate. As well it has more than just clock/weather widgets.

Flashed this, coming from the 1.3 themed baked snack after wiping data, cache, and davlik.
Liked the boot animation, like the overall theme itself as it actually works with things like the phone and what not.. But when attempting to use Titanium Backup I am prompted 3-10+ times to grant super user permissions the 10+ times I just finally hit the home button and forgot about using it.
Is this common or?

This was a problem with the beta of this rom that I was testing. Flash the new superuser 2.3. You can find it somewhere on xda.

This is built on CyanogenMod 7 nightly. Ive added some features, removed bloatware, semi-themed by myself, plus lots of mods and tweaks.

still:
- what version of nb it is ?
- if you began to semi-theme, I have a little request if it's possible: try to make background more "white" and fonts in contrast. (I'm sick of black and no colors).
- can you implement touchpal dialer or miui dialer (but compatible with missed call notification and etc) ?
everything works fine, though. I like antenna icon, I like go launcher by default, even bootanimation is the same I use always and everything else, I don't like battery icon, but wtf, is you choice.

Working great for me .No issues so far.Battery life seems to good too.
Okay so many questions. I'll get started.
Based on the last nightly that came out.
Miui lockscreen, dialer, contact apps cannot be ported.
This will be updated often. Not daily as nightlies come out everyday. I mean say skip one version here and there.
More features will be added with every update.
Last thing I hope you guys like it and it performs well.

Hey guys, I wanted to make myself something completely stable and quick based on the new gingerbread OTA for the EVO. I figured I would share it here for anyone looking for a stable, quick, bloat free sense ROM. As stated below, the framework is cleaned of all extra languages, as well as some apps, but I wanna get this thing as small as possible and clean up the rest of them in time. This ROM is not aimed towards lots of system modifications, but more so taking whats there and cleaning it all up, giving you guys an OTA the way it should be =P. With that said, I thought I would just post it here for you guys to play around with. I will make this post look a bit more enticing with some screenshots as time permits so stay tuned. You can read the log below to get an idea of what to expect.

Update:
I went to RA 2.3, wiped all, flashed rom, reboted and got a reboot cycle, then keep pressing vol down, went RA again, wait, downloaded rom again on PC, plug USB and put it in sdcard, wiped all again, flashed rom, rebooted, same reboot cycle.
I have EVO 4G hardware 0003, Baseband 2.15.00.05.02, PRI 2.15_003, PRL 61007.
CM7 nightly #102 & GingerAleV4 roms run without any issue (GingerAle runing now).
I'd love to see an Odex version.

Great Rom, silky smooth with Lords latest 6.9, and liking Swype and additional Wallpapers (Shuttle one is just incredible).
I would personally change the battery indicator to break away from Hydrogenmods appearance, but totally understand that that great Rom is an inspiration.
The Modified Launcher upon booting looks awesome and very refreshing.
Great start, and will be using this for a while.

Thanks buzz, glad you're liking the rom and I appreciate the feedback. I'm really happy with the way the Launcher came out, I think it's my favourite part of the rom right now. You might have a point about the battery icon, if I can find something else that I like as much I might change it for the next release.

Can you let me know the steps to flash this ROM on my DHD device.

Reboot into recovery
Wipe data/cache
Wipe Dalvik cache
Install zip from sd card
(and probably back up first just in case you want to go back ;p)

Also, there's another update... Changed to CFS kernel on advice from LorD ClockaN.. Also updated to 6.9.1
I think that's going to be it for the quick fire every day or two updates for now, might run it for a little while and see what comes up..

The update is going to retheme one of the apps, no big changes.
It will just be an addon for flashing.
Not reflashing a whole rom.

Flashed over ICBINB KJ3 and restored /data with no problem. The quadrant score is lower than ICBINB's, but I haven't flashed the Adrenaline Shot (not sure if compatible). Currently, I'm getting 1800 with no OC. Love the theme, other than the notification menu buttons (the highlight bothers me); however, that's not an issue whatsoever.
The texting bug I had while on ICBINB is gone, so very happy about that.

1 bug.
You can't change ringtone from google music 4.0.1.
Go to files and open the tington in soundplayer.
Hit menu and set as.
Also, I am working on a browser fix.

One more trick.
If you despise the white messaging background like me, go to settings(in messaging), and go down and select "Black Background" Hit the back button twice to turn off the app, and then hit messaging. All is perfect.

Or you can also use the task manager after you have chosen the"black background"option and exit all applications, then just reopen the messaging app and is all black tadaaaa
