I have a strange issue...I am in c/t and work HQ is in pst. When an appointment is set from some in pst and it sync to my device via exhange only when the appointment time comes if I snooze the 1hr alert before the meeting...it moves the orginal appointment time up 5 hours exactly on my phone and PC calendar. So if it was for 12p noon it moves it to 5p
Any solution for this?

Any ideas how to set up a profile (like I have for the Exchange sync) so that I don't get my phone waking me up in the middle of the night every time it automatically checks my POP3 e-mail.
Sure, I could set it to silent, but then my alarm doesn't go off kin the morning.
Sure, I could sync POP3 e-mail manually, but that's a pain in the arse during the day.
I can set my Exchange sync to only work between certain hours, why not POP3?
bump...just this once.
Not really an answer to the problem but i am usng SPB Time for my alarm functions and that overrides the silent setting and has nice big Off and Snooze buttons as well..
Like your thinking deedee...
I use Profiles for Windows, which can be found here...
http://www.winmobileapps.com/device/pocketpc/pwm/pwm.aspx
I have a number of profiles that switch time through the day and then at night it switches the phone off, then switches it back on at 5:30 in the morning.
Works seemlessly - most of the time.
Hi there,
I live in Brisbane, QLD, Aus, which doesn't participate in daylight saving. I run windows xp on my laptop, and when time zone this is confirmed by the absence of the option to automatically adjust for daylight saving.
When I sync my HTC touch pro, it changes the clock and all appointments to an hour later. I've tried deselecting the option to not sync the clock, but it still changes the time of the appointments.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Request for a new app.
Sorry for my bad english.
So first the Problem:
In the Standard Calender you only adjust the alarm e.g. 15 Minutes before the appointment, and thats what the alarm does: ringing 15 Minutes before.
But sometimes the alarm is useless, for example i have an appointment at the dentist at 15:00.
I need about 10 min from my home to the doctor so i let ring my phone 20 min before, but if i forget the appointment and drive away with my frinds the alarm is useless.
So I thouth of a calender app which regulates the alarm by itsself.
Perhaps it could work this way:
1.When making a new appointment you have to enter: When and Where (like in navi) the appointment is.
2.Then the app should check every 15 minutes where i am. This could be per the radio masts.
3.Ceck how long it takes from the position to place where the appointment is.
4.Ring if its time for it.

use G-Alarm and G-profile and you can also use Thumbcal to setup the appointments.
also, the default WM calendar supports custom reminders.
I have had a TP2 for about two weeks and have a problem I can't find a fix for.
I travel across time zones frequently. When the TP2 clock updates to the new time zone all the times in the calendar change.
The only workaround I have found is to set the home and visiting times to EDT and disabling the clock auto updating, but this makes the time shown on home page wrong whenever it is not in my home time zone.
Does anybody know a way to fix this?
Thanks
Don't they just update to the time zone you are in and then return back to "normal" when you return to your home timezone? I'm not totally sure I understand your question with this, as this is something that I personally like
If this is what your issue is I'll fiddle with it and see if I can find a fix.
The problem I have is I when I stay in the other time zones all the calendar times are off.
Example: If I am in Denver, Mountain time zone, and I want to enter a flight next week from Seattle to Indianapolis do I add 1 hour to the Seattle departure time and subtract 1 hour from the Indianapolis arrival time, or is it the other way around? Too confusing and too many ways to mess up.
I want to put sync my Outlook calendar with the TP2 calendar. When I travel the times on Outlook do not change when the time on my laptop changes, but all the times on the TP2 change.
Thanks
I set the proper time zone when creating the calendar appointment in outlook on my laptop (I think its under options). Then I'm always on the right time. On the phone, I have to "fool it" by temporarily setting the clock to that alternate time zone before creating the new appointment, but with the world clock its pretty quick.
I don't want the times in the calendar to ever change. I want them to stay the same no matter what time zone the phone is in.
If I disable the clock updating the calendar times will not change, but now I have a phone with the displayed time wrong except when I am in my home time zone.
Does anybody use a TP2 when they travel?
There should be a way to make this calendar not change when crossing time zones.
I don't have a solution for this, but I suspect that when you change time zones, there is nothing that will keep all of the appointments from changing.
I don't know this to be a fact with 6.1, but I suspect that like in other operating systems, the dates are stored in UTC time. When they are displayed on the screen, they are adjusted, on the fly, for the proper time zone. If this is true for 6.1, then it's all or nothing.
I'm on an Exchange Server, so I can enter appointments anywhere and they sync to the phone. When I travel, I DO NOT change the TZ on my laptop and enter the calendar appointments on it, not the phone. This may not work for you, but it's a thought.
Hi all,
Have been using Calendar Snooze with Business Calendar for quite some time on ogDroid and recently got HTC Incredible 2. On new phone the calendar alarms/reminders show up as being 24 hours and 10 minutes even though I have Business Calendar set up to.remind me by default at 15 minutes before each event. This seems to happen even when I change settings for notifications in Google calendar online. All I want is a single notification to be fired via Calendar Snooze as all the others are superfluous. Anyone having a similar issue?

what do you mean by : calendar alarms/reminders show up as being 24 hours and 10 minutes
You mean they show as duration 24 hours and 10 min ??
or by default 1 24 hour reminder and 1 10 minute reminder ??
Yeah, it 1 reminder @ 10 minutes and another at 24 hrs. I realize now the one for 10 minutes is the one corresponding to the pop-up alert in Google's calendar , but don't know about the one at 24 hours. I'm going to keep my eye on the latter and see if it causes calendar Snooze to fire. At first it seemed to, but lately calendar snooze seems to be ignoring it (which is a good thing!)

Should not be happening..
Are you sure u just set 1 reminder when making the appointment ?
You could try to reinstall calendar snooze...
let me know if you keep having problems..
Greetings , arnold
Thats exactly what was happening to me! I am now using Calengoo and the alarms work perfectly, are snoozable, and never fail me. I recommend it.
