Sprint TV is free just as long as you have a Sprint phone. Has crap for channels, but yeah, it's free.
Go to the market and install CRACKLE. It's free.

I once had an app called "HDTV Shows", or something to that effect.
Every TV show you could think of was on it, and very rarely would they not have a show to watch.
Got it off the market. Now, I can't find it. I'm guessing copyright laws were the cause for it to get yanked, but it literally had any show I was looking for in it.
I would tell you to purchase "Amatsu" from the Market, but the developers are thieves and crooks.
They sold "free android movies", which was vaporware, as it never functioned... It then disappeared & Amatsu took it's place. Now Amatsu doesn't work!

There already is at least one app. RadioTime streams both the on air and HD stations. http://radiotime.com/Search.aspx?query=WROR 105.7

Anyone else want a specific app too?

If it's a clear channel station, try iheartradio. Our you could try a online radio for shoutcast and icecast. Is the station online streaming with a pls (playlist) file or flash? I don't know how to grab a flash stream url, butt I think I might have seen an app that can play flash streams if you can give it the stream url. I think I tried it and wasn't successful. Sorry, I forgot the name.

I'm a tech at a major electronics retailer. My boss just came in and asked me to find a solution to stream media from an Android phone to a computer. I'm not sure if this is even possible... google and the search feature haven't proven to be useful, but I figured if there's a place to look - this is it.
Anyone have any ideas?
I believe there is an app on the market that uses dlna. Can't remember the name though sorry

Unfortunately unless you have Verizon we are **** out of luck. Someone hacked the NFL app last year, hope someone can do the same this year.
Their NFL app is the best app ever.
....
I don't know what the nfl app did, but my personal fave is ScoreMobile with desktop widget.
nfl app last year let you watch the games on your phone, i hope it comes back.
You might wanna try sportstap or NFL '11 in the market. I use both.

Can you post a link to the app, I couldn't find it. Thanks!

Type sport tv nfl in the search. Should be the first one.
I don't know how to add a link. Sorry.
Its all streaming I watched some boxing tonight and it was pretty darn smooth.

Sportstap is good. At work I look up people's teams for them. A lot of different sports to choose from.

So did sport TV work for anyone? None of the links worked for me.

I had one link work. The rest didn't.

none worked for me either. I kept getting an install flash logo. I uninstalled flash & re installed and I also switched the user agent of my browser to see if it helped, no luck. I really hope the Verizon NFL app gets hacked again, but I haven;t seen anything about it being worked on
I downloaded nfl 11

Unless you have Verizon, or direct tv its not looking good. There is a thing called Slingbox, TV anywhere with wifi or 3g+. Expensive though, but really cool

Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the nfl mobile apk to allow for hdmi out for live games? Every time you plug in the hdmi adapter the nfl app throws an error "hdmi/tv-out connected". Any ideas? Or possible work arounds?

I think it don't do it cause of copy rights.my buddy has the same problem.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the reason as well. But the check for hdmi out should be somewhere in the apk, I'm looking to see if anyone has tried to modify it! Maybe we can get an apk out there that supports hdmi out!!

Word of warning it looks awful on a big screen tv watchable but barely.

If you're at a bar then most likely all the games would be on the tvs anyways.

Not necessarily.
I actually owned a bar for almost 20 years. We had TimeWarner cable and never had the NFL network.
