Led color change. - HTC Inspire 4G

This might have been answered. But is there any way to change the led color? Or is it a hardware limitation?

I've spent a long time searching for a way to have more than just green and orange. And from what I've read the Inspire just isn't capable of it. Those are the only ones it can produce.

Yeah unfortunately green and orange are the only colors the inspire can produce

Led notification

I know that you can change the color of the led light on other phones but can you change it on the inspire? If so how? Thnx.

Not trying to be mean, but you should have used the search function...
The inspire is only capable of 3 colors, Orange green and red...unless of course someone was stupid enough to mod the hardware with a new LED.

Slight color shift when tapping screen?

I noticed when browsing the XDA forum via web browser, that when I tap the screen and hold, there is ever a slight shift in color tones. When I let go the color returns to normal. (I'm sure its on other sites as well that aren't on a white background). Has anyone else noticed this?
You can test by browsing XDA, going into a post, zooming in, and tap and hold around someone's avatar. Usually the icons around the avatar will become more pronounced when tapping, and look at the color of the background.
This might be a normal thing, but would love for someone else to test it and report back on it via their Sensation.
Last thing I want to do is bring this one back and swap.
I noticed it when I was choosing apps from my home screen.

Do you notice it browsing XDA? But not via the XDA app. Tapping and letting go?

i noticed it on the browser too on xda site, not tired any other site. but i think it could be software, maybe hardware but most likely software, anyone else got anything on this?
I just noticed also on the stock News app. White background, but when scrolling background turns just slightly pink. When done scrolling background goes back to white. Could be the app, but would appreciate if anyone could try that as well!
Yeah I noticed it on the xda app

I would upload a pic,but shootme won't work for obvious reasons. Is there any other app I could use that doesn't require root?

Okay I just downloaded XDA premium and XDA free on both devices and checked many other apps and the browser on both mine and my wifes sensation and here is what I found,I was able to replicate the issue on both phones only in the XDA premium app
And I did NOT find this to be an issue and could NOT replicate it in any app nor the browser and also not in the XDA free app.Cheers

Led colours?

Hello, I did search but couldn't find any info, am I right in thinking the sensation only has two colours for the notification led (the one by the earpiece) green and orange?
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA App
Yes
Edit: But you can get orange-yellowish color if you blink them at the same time
Swyped from my HTC Sensation
Hmm that's a shame, I'm used to having more choice then that, not a major thing but I guess I thought that a phone with this kind of spec would have more of a range

how good are your soldering skills? They are white leds, only way is to replace with a different color.

Cool idea but those are small led's. I once tried replacing some Xbox controller led's and now I have no lights. Good luck.

Yea, I'm not even going to attempt it
