I just wanted to know if it was possible to put sony ericsson widgets, i.e Timescape, media widgets etc. On Go Launcher's home screen.

I just got the ADW.Launcher and it has been the best home replacement app so far.
You have the nexus one like app drawer and shortcut dock, and you can adjust the speed the pages flick, page bounce back (like the iphone) and set the number of pages you want to have.
Fully supports all widgets, and really fast (no lag at all like open home or a home)
the best thing is i've used my x10 for 5 hours straight and its only gone down to 95% battery left.
give it a try!
Am using it. Love the Sense Preview, although it could be less choppy (but they fixed most of that in the latest version). Also like the dock bar, and applications drawer.
it great, however, before on one of main screen I had option to turn wifi, bluetooth, phone and gps on the fly by tapping on it. Now after I installed ADW, it is gone, does anybody know how to get it back or something alternative?

Yeah, it should be a widget. I believe it is called quick settings.
Easily the best homescreen replacements. Tried a few Home++ for example and this one is a keeper... havent tried GDE yet....maybe in a while but for now ill stick with this

I know that LauncherPro supports the 3D Drawer Cube but it's not compatible with Android 1.6. Does anyone know if it is possible to accomplish this with 1.6? I just bough an HTC Hero for my girlfriend and I'm jealous of the 3D cube.
Thanks in advance.
I don't know if it's the same, but LiveHome has such an effect.
Live home can only switch the homescreens with cube effect but not the app drawer.

I guess there isn't any available for 1.6?
No i dont think/now

lots of 1.6 version 3rd party home applications support 3d cube base swipe.
GED, Open home, HelixLauncher(not sure) are some of them.

I don't mean the home 3d swype, I'm talking about the Nexus one 3D Drawer effect. When you go to your app list, you can either swipe left and right, up or down, but the one I'm looking for is up and down with the 3D effect.
I'm starting to think that LauncherPro is not available for 1.6 due to firmware limitations...
adw launcher is the go. it has the zoom effect, but no 3d scrolling effect (the dev doesnt like it).

Oh... then have to wait until 2.1 version to have a reliable method.

Is there any regular rom for x8(without the timescape ui and sony ericsson stuff) because I really dont like it now?
I dont know about a rom but if you install launcherpro or adw from the market, yoh can make it look like regular android.

I have already done that but the lock screen, contacts, phone, etc. are still the same.
I like Android but i hate the widgets and the Homescreen, i don't need them. So i like the apple surface. Is there a launcher/hack to show always the app surface/drawer/app depot? I use.the go launcher and if it's possible i will use it further more.
Thx a lot!!!

Why not just resize your homescreen grid to hold more apps and put all your apps on scrollable homescreens? With adw you can even make the dock disappear all together to make more room for app icons.
Sent from my cm7 Aria.
For.example the go launcher has a perfect app depot with recently used apps and running apps in tab style thats what i love and want.

Use ADW or LauncherPro and change settings so it won't close App Drawer when you open a new app.
Check if MIUI is available for your device, its does not have a app draw.

Lol then why not just take the fraction of a second d to open the app drawer? Lol doesn't take long. Or just place ur apps on the home screen

Just get a ducking iPhone. Who doesn't like Widgets? This post almost seems kind of trolly Polly if you ask me.
as said above .. Miui is pretty similar to iphone .. no Apps Drawer .. everything is on the main screen ... and its very fast ..

I suggest the same. also set number of home screens to (1). plus since you don't like the home screen, change the settings so that when you press the home button it pulls up your app drawer.

@fifarunnerr: Can you tell me the exactly option?
@kylec: LOL
@Mylenthes: Didn´t you read my first post? I like android, but i like the iphone appearance and the GoLauncher has additionally a super Tab-styled surface --> I have the Galaxy Tab with Android 2.3.3, The GoLauncher installed and now i want reduce it to the Drawer/App Depot
@Nexus 4G: The same like fifarunnerr. There isn´t a option except "Open/Close the App drawer" but i want only "Open the app drawer".
Thx a lot
Miui, if available

But.that's a whole rom? I don't want to change my rom. And the adw iphone miui launcher isn't good.
That would be cool, if you could help me

Dude seriously you are retarded if you have a large screen tab and can't figure this out with the multitude of options at your disposal. This is either a troll thread from a bored individual or you really are clueless. Even after members here give you seven different options you just keep on asking?

@OP- I'm not sure you really have an option... Even if u switched to miUI, u would have several homescreens instead of one app drawer. Your going to have to sacrifice. and yes the open/close app drawer is the option I were referring too. I've never seen a rom/preference to completely remove your home screens... Sry bredrin )-:

There is a launcher in the Market called vLauncher that does exactly what you're asking for.

@tt0204/scottjb: Thx a lot!!!
@all other who gave only stupid comments: You wasted your time in giving the most stupid comments on earth. Yes i and ... 50-250k users in the world a trolls, too. The vLauncher is that, what i was looking for. But it´s ok to be ....

I've been using this, it keeps losing apps. It's better than nothing, but it's not as good as the MIUI Launcher.

I have lost an app when moving it to the trash can by mistake and tapping Cancel. Goto Settings, Applications and force stop it. Then restart vLauncher and the app should be back. I would like to see the developer pick this app up and do some updating.

Just install it normally on v2.3.4 stock rom..
Works fine but has even less features than the stock player. And the widget sux. At least it doesn't do that annoying auto-repeat.
Yup.. Its just the taste of ics..;-)
The main player screen(s) look very nice though.
About the widget, don't tell me that's the default ics widget. A little too minimalist for something so new.
This Player is not the ICS one. neither is it a port. It's the google one, for google music.
I've had it on my play half a year ago and it sucked then and does now.
The widget is of ics one.. try to install any custom rom and see.. it has the same widget.
The photos of Android 4 having that widget...
