Fede's music app (wp7 styled music app from the maker of launcherpro)

okay, so since this hasnt been posted here...this is fede's music app aka ubermusic. It is a wp7 styled music app that KICKS ASS. The guy who designed LauncherPro is the maker of this also. Seriously, you have to try it. Its still free at this point because its still in alpha/beta stages. But I STRONGLY suggest trying it!!! its awesome!!!

not sure at all, I was wondering the same thing. It does it so smoothly

Nice app! at first look it's sort of HUGE font, but the player is sweet! I hope there is going to be some EQ and Sound settings incorporated.

I do like the alternate album art in the background. Font is a little big but its beta. I still only see songs listed by folders instead of categories I selected: songs, albums, artist, etc. I look forward to the end product

Just noticed there is now a beta3...the fonts are smaller and it adds a Bio button. This really is a sweet music player good find

Looks great and works great. If there was 5.1 support, I will never go back to the music player app

Been using beta 3 for a few days now while in the gym.... Really sick!

Ok this app is definitely replacing poweramp. The UI is nice when themed, and the app is well polished and way to use. I gotta say The scrolling is freaking amazing. I wish every app on android was this smooth. Even smoother than the iPhone which is something I thought I would never see on android.

Works well on the Droid X running ICS MIUI 1.11.9 ; the keyboard is missing a lot though; it seems to just be a skin for the Gingerbread keyboard. It lacks the continuous voice-input that was demoed in the Nexus reveal. The new music app is a mixed bag; I think I prefer the older 4.0.1 version instead, in terms of looks =\

Keep in mind it aint running on ICS. You aint using ICS voice lib/ drivers. It's a lot faster and multi-touch works better than GB (to me). What else did you find this keyboard missing? Thanx for the input. Did anyone try this on any non-AOSP ROM?

this is 4.0.0.500, taken form galaxy nexus. yours is a leaked version. As far as I can this is the newest version

I can't get the music.apk to sync with my google account even though it prompts when first run. Suggestions?

Seems to work okay, if anything it's really good at detecting badly spelled words. I can practically botch every letter and it comes out fine.

I noticed that too. I think/hope that they have finally implemented BlindType that they bought a couple of years ago cause that looked awesome.

Does anyone have issues using this keyboard in landscape mode? Doesn't work for me.

Well, I found one on the market, but its not what I was looking for. What it should include (and this is what WP7 has)
- No visibility to the notification bar
- Ability to change wallpaper
- and others that WP7 has that I have forgotten...

I really liked lockscreen 7 but after a while it wouldn't show and it was a pain to get it to work again.a very smooth alternative when itbwas working right.

When you download the main app and open it you will see a themes tab had then just press get themes and it will take you to the market aand then you can find it. Its one of the free ones.

great app but need to fix some minor bug :
- when u use a lockscreen with slider and widget , then change to lockscreen that simpler such as metro style, the slider and wid get wont disapper.
- some lockscreen wont fit qhd screen.
- statusbar not completely disabled
And i need an option to full screen

Every theme in the app isn't optimized for qvga screens...

Just tried one on my wildfire with cm7.1 and it was way oversized...so much in fact i could not unlock it so im in recovery now trying to delete the dam thing...shame widget locker ahoy!
edit: anyone know how and or if i can delete a single app from recovery ? lol

It says in the app that if you are not able to unlock then you should press back and vol up..works for me..

GREAT UI, easy to use and finds artists that aren't as famous.
bug report:
I am on Jellybean, Galaxy S.
The notification is cut off, no text is shown. No loading bar anything.

Tested and accepted.
Cool app working just fine!!

I really love the UI
But the app does not work really good on my galaxy note
I can download a song but then i can't play it
The song ins't in myusic app (Apollo)

Same with Google music

Great app, so far it has been working well. One suggestion though, it would be great if you can display the file quality on the search result page as well, that would make it a lot easier to find higher quality files instead of going through them one by one.
