If you're switching different roms (like Cyanogen to Sense), it'd probably mess stuff up quite a bit

would be going from cyanogen to enomther. I would like to try enomther out but really not in the mood to install everything again and put all my settings back in, especially if I end up going back to cyanogen again.

I'm not sure if this is how it works, but everytime I flash I backup the app and data of helixlauncher and when I restore it my icons are all in the right place. You obviously have to reinstall all your applications first before the icons work, but it worked, to my surprise.

From my experience with the pro version, which is much better than the free, and worth it,
Any of the stuff in red, i dont back up. I just backup all my actual apps I know i use on my phone, with data.
I use mybackupPro, to restore all my call logs and texts, yadda yadda, but titanium backup for apps+data
I haven't found anything to successfuly restore my screens and widgets without error or issues, but whatever. atleast the widgets data is still stores [atleast with Pure calenders and such]
I wish there was some sort of better guide though, like exactly which system settings NOT to back up, that would be awesome.

I too would like to see it all spelled out. Especially for noob such as myself.
I've been using mybackupPro for exactly the same reason, together with Titanium. But my widgets and shorcuts aren't restored. And I use More Icons Pro which is more of a pain to redo after every flash or ROM change.

Ok Guys. Here is an easy report on Titanium Backup.
Titanium Backup will backup all of your installed applications(this can include system apps), settings, Launcher Icon Layout, Wifi, sms/calllog etc..
It WILL work between at least android 2.1 roms(Cyan, Enom etc,,). I have not tried going over to a desire ROM
PRO is VERY much worth it. It allows you batch install instead of clicking for every app. Easily worth 4 or 6 bux.
Now what you do.
Install and possibly donate. U use paypal and get an email with the "pro" key soon after.
-Click backup/restore
-Click menu(phone button), batch
-Click Backup All user apps.
-Let it run, then go back.
-Individually backup all items highlighted in green. This will be bookmarks, call log, calendar, LAUNCHER, wifi, stuff like that.
-SKIP RED ONES. These are system apps and u basically are overwriting your new ROM.
Ok now you are backed up in your SD card in folder Titanium backup.
You can now, Wipe, install a rom, download titanium from market, click backup/restore, Click batch. Then click restore all apps and Data.
Restart your Phone.
And your back in business. EZ PZ. Your settings, Wifi, Icon layout, etc. will be installed. The only thing I have to adjust is my wallpaper/widgets usually.
All in all you can do a full ROM from wipe swap in about 15 minutes. I always Wipe because its so easy, why not.
Also. This works with Apps2sd as well. It can go from non-apps2sd to apps2sd, or apps2sd to non-apps2sd. Basically it doesnt care...

Nandroid will back up your entire ROM, all apps, and all settings in one package. Titanium just baks up the apps that you use, so if you switch ROMs or wipe, it's a very fast and easy process to reinstate them.
Both are pretty mandatory. Show some love and get the donate version. Good devs shouldn't have to eat Ramen Noodles. Except by choice.

Just a note: The free version does batch back-up and restore, but no verify or market doctor. This may be a recent change to the free, as I just started using titanium when I got my Nexus.
Jumped to the MoDaCo Desire Rom for a few, and reinstalled only the apps without any system data, worked just fine. I can see a potential issue though doing backups from Desire of anything requiring Sense, and trying to restore on a non-Sense ROM.

Just one thing: the reason why we usually skip the "red" system items is not because Titanium Backup would overwrite these system apps (it doesn't) but rather because they are items which usually don't contain any interesting data.
For system apps: Titanium Backup currently never backs up (nor restores) the app itself. It only touches the system data.

Yes indeed, when backing up/restoring across HTC and Google ROMs (or generally speaking: between wildly different ROMs), it is advised to restore the system items with caution, and generally only the system items you need. There's no such problem with user apps & data, which will *always* work across ROMs.

Ahh. Good to know about the Red system items. It means I can be even more lazy and just back up everything.
Adding an official guide is a good idea. I had these same questions a few months ago and actually held of trying it for a week.

I know I'm asking a ton here, but it's something to think about implementing. What would be really useful is to have one (or more if you have multiple backup copies selected) main "Market/User batch" backup restore. If multiple backups are enabled, a name for each set would be cool.
The really useful part would allow several system app/settings entries and allow unique naming by user. One could have say a Cm, a Desire and Enomther system folders, and could back up and restore to each as need be. That way if someone's testing several ROM's there's no confusion about which system app/setting came from which build. That way you're not restoring Enomther's Spare Parts app to a Desire build.
I don't know if this is possible either (I know nandroid does this, but I'm stretching for in house), but a feature where if you are unsure about a system app/data/setting restoration, allow a onetime snapshot pre-restore, so if things do not work out, an undo of last action is possible. Or, if you implement the ideas in the latter paragraph, that responsibility could be left to the user, since they could save the fresh target and data in it's new folder before messing with it.
I'm sure this is all possible now by moving and renaming the backups on sdcard, but it would be much cleaner from within Titanium's ui.

Not exactly the best abbreviation...

So, can I backup the MUSIC playlists? I tried backing up the Music (in ReD) in hopes that it would contain the playlist...but when I restored...it didn't have the playlist.

What is it exactly that you want to restore??? Personally, I wouldn't (and didnt) restore ANYTHING from titanium. It takes like what 5 minutes to go through the settings menu and set stuff back up the way you had it?
Apps have to be coded to allow them to be moved to sdcard. It's up to the developers to add that option in. It's not because you are restoring stuff from titanium, but because you are trying to move something that doesn't have the ability to be moved yet.

You can force your phone to allow apps2sd with pm setInstallLocation=2
In anycase your response was not helpful but dismissive. My reasons to backup and restore are valid enough for me to ask and if you can't answer go find another post to respond to.
In any case I have by trial and error found that a number of settings restore just fine and I have put mot of my applications on the sdcard.

Yes, I know all about this. Anything with a widget or service will not work, but will still goto SD (bad). And other apps may not work properly. YMMV, but personally I set that option on, moved a couple of big apps, tested them, then immediately turned it back off (pm setInstallLocation=0). I'm on my third wipe and things are running better then ever since doing it this way. I had apps that do not include a widget or service, were not protected, that should have run fine from there and did not.

I wasn't being "dismissive" by any means... I was simply curious as to what it was you wanted to restore as it helps to answer "what you can safely restore" if people know what it is that you want. My point about it taking 5 minutes was simply trying to point out you may actually save your self some time and frustration by doing it manually.

Maybe you should read hat I wrote before just saying not to even try backing things up. Wow I wanted to keep my settings, text messages and call history and be able to toss my applications on the SD and get a location fix. Some setting carried over stops those from working and wanting to know what it is or why it is is a whole lot more intelligent than just throwing my hands up and saying "Well, I paid for an application I guess I shouldn't use it!"

This probably doesn't help but I personally don't like everything about titanium. It seems to restore too much. I still use it for apps but It's hard to identify what you are restoring when it comes to "data". mybackuppro does a better job of choosing what to back up and restored. very clear and concise, everything is labeled, (ie: sms, call log, mms, playlists, home screen icons etc etc). I know I know, its not help with titanium but maybe it'll help.

Okay pointless argument. Once again, I wasn't saying "dont even try!" I said "PERSONALLY, I didn't restore anything". That's because after my first install I did restore several things and it caused issues. I was giving you my personal advice on the matter. Sorry it didn't answer the question the way you wanted, but it wasn't by any means trying to put you or what you wanted to do down.
I also paid for titanium backup and use it and love it all the time. I think we are asking a bit much of it to backup stuff from a (assuming here) custom rom, then importing them onto a stock rom and have absolutely no issues.
Maybe I could have worded my initial response better, but it helps people to answer your questions if we know what you wanted to restore specifically rather then trying to answer what can and cannot be restored. Had you said how can I safely restore my texts, and call logs someone may have piped in and said "I restored X in titantium backup and had no issues!"
Again, wasn't flaming, telling you to give up, or anything. Only offering my personal experiences with this.

I agree with polo79. While Titanium is fantastic at restoring apps and their data, It is not very concise on what data is restored. IMO, the most useful feature Titanium offers is it's ability to replace the Market links to the restored apps. While what you want to do probably is possible using Titanium, MyBackup Pro makes it much more clear cut on what you're restoring.
As far as restoring apps go (and I have many of those), after much trial and error, what I did was restore as much as I could using InstallLocation 0 until I ran out of room. Then I set it to 2 and went through and moved what I thought safe to sd. Then went back and installed more using Titanium using 0 again...well, you get the procedure.
And enough bickering. Gimpsta was only trying to help, but maybe a "no reply" here would have been best.

Well I went through and my results are I can restore all applications and the following datasets without issue to location or installing to sd:
[ACCOUNTS] Account and Sync Settings 2.2 - check.
Application widgets - blanks out desktop but can get location lock.
[Bookmarks] Browser 2.2 - check
[Calendar] Calendar Storage 2.2 - check
[USER DICT] com.amdroid.providers.userdictionary 2.2 - check
[CONTACTS/CALLS] Contacts Storge 2.2 - Check
[SMS/MMS/APN] Dialer Storage 2.2 - check
I didn't try the rest because everything was working and I didn't need anything weird in the rest.

Hi, I'm testing froyo roms now, currently very pleased with performance
Tintanium backup is really a great app, I ditch all other backup programs after installing it.
I was able to restore to froyo, APNs, contacts, call history, wifi settings, sms.

sms restored perfectly, but contacts say restored successful but i can't see them, only call log

can't tell you why, but i miight be able to show a way around it.
I had the same problem a couple of time. what i did is exporting my contacts to a "vcf"-file on sd card. after flashing the new rom i imported all contacts with now probs.
hope it will work for you to.
the tiny drawback is, you have to nandroid-backup your actual setup. restore the previous, export your contacts. restore the actual and import.

I started a new thread for this release because the other one was just too huge. I also want to apologize for how long this release took. Life is crazy.

Fresh Evo 1.0.1 for your Sprint Evo 4g
NOTE: Fresh Evo now assumes that you have NAND unlocked (part 2 of rooting). This means you are fully rooted and have write access to /system/ even when you are booted up. If you have not unlocked NAND protection then you should do so before flashing this rom!
If you are coming from Fresh Evo 0.5.3 then just as I promised, no wipe is required. However if you are having problems then of course... wipe.
If you are coming from ANY other rom: do a data wipe! This version 100% requires one. This should however be the last wipe required! It has also been reported that Clockwork Recovery is not wiping sd:ext properly. So if you do a data wipe (data, dalvik, cache, and sd:ext) and are still getting FC's or boot loops then you need to flash Amon's recovery and use it instead. In order to flash this rom you need to be rooted (unrevoked method doesn't count as root) to flash this. How To: Root Your Sprint Evo with NAND unlocked. Always make a nandroid backup, I can't be held responsible if something breaks, etc, etc.
Expect 1 loop at the very first boot! This is a side effect of the fixed vanilla lock. The very first time you boot up the phone it will load the lockscreen and then boot loop one time and then come up. If it continues to loop then see above.

Standard Fresh Evo Features:
Fresh Updater! Check the How To for information on setting it up and using it. Thanks to cyanogen and firefart as it's based on CMUpdater. It is built off of R657 which is the newest commit.
270 degree auto-rotation (you can turn the phone to the right or the left for landscape) -- Thanks to Optedoblivion for pointing me in the right direction
Fully fixed vanilla lock screen -- see screen shots. Use Fresh Updater to grab one of the vanilla patches to enable it. HTC's lock is enabled by default.
Landscape rosie (disabled by default!) -- see screen shots to see the issues with this. It is functional however it is definitely a hack. You will see some issues with using it. It doesn't look pretty, but it does work! Thanks to jschisurf for pointing me in the right direction on this one. NOTE: I have landscape rosie disabled by default! If you want to try it out then grab one of the patches in Fresh Updater to enable it. See the Fresh Updater How To for help with that.
Landscape settings.apk -- no problems here. Works fine.
12 new Rosie widgets. 7 that are available for our phone and 5 that aren't.
Profiles, ringtone, battery, call mom, coin flip, daily challenge, dice, notes, quick record, tasks, tip calculator, and today in history.
These are made by HTC and will only work in Rosie.
Wifi tether (free wireless 3g/4g tether)
Stock files have been resigned. This should prevent the need for any future wipes (not counting any major software changes by HTC/Sprint).
I have still chosen to NOT include adless browsing in my rom. I used adless browsing in all of my Hero Android 1.5 roms because it actually blocked ads from the browser. In Android 2.1 this functionality stopped working so I stopped including it. It was pointed out to me that while it doesn't block them in the browser, it does block them in apps (background data). The reason I am choosing to not include this is because as a developer myself, I feel that the authors deserve to get paid for what they do if you want to use their app. If you are choosing to use their free ad-driven application then I don't want to contribute to people blocking those ads and preventing the dev from getting paid.
All APK's have been png optimized and zipalign'd
png optimize goes through every APK and losslessly compresses the png (picture) files without causing any type of visual change. This provides a smaller apk file size that loads faster. Each APK has then been zipalign'd. From Android's developer page: zipalign is an archive alignment tool that provides important optimization to Android application (.apk) files. The purpose is to ensure that all uncompressed data starts with a particular alignment relative to the start of the file. Specifically, it causes all uncompressed data within the .apk, such as images or raw files, to be aligned on 4-byte boundaries. This allows all portions to be accessed directly with mmap() even if they contain binary data with alignment restrictions. The benefit is a reduction in the amount of RAM consumed when running the application.
While this does free up space on /system/ (as seen below) it is not done to make free space considering we have more than enough. It is done purely for a performance gain. Every day use of the phone will go smoother and stock applications will respond faster. The reason this works is because it has reduced the application file size as much as 50%, so they load in to memory faster and run smoother.
Additionally all applications in /data/ (even ones you downloaded) will be zipalign'd on boot if they need to be.
Not every apk takes png optimization + zip align well. I've done it on enough roms that I think I know which ones cause issues now, but if you are getting FC's on any apps (I can't test them all) then let me know and I'll get it resolved. Thanks!
Apps2sd enabled! Using Darktremor by tkirton.
Apps2sd takes all applications from /data/app and /data/app-private and moves them to a partition on your sdcard. It was originally created for phones that didn't enough enough space on /data/ to store a large number of applications. This has mostly been resolved on the Evo because we have over 400mb of space allocated to /data/. However for some people this isn't enough. Additionally if your apps are stored on your sdcard then you can do a data wipe and they will still be there (albeit settings will be lost, but you won't need to reinstall them).
You do not have to use apps2sd if you don't want to use it. If you just don't format your sdcard with an ext partition (leave it all as fat32 like it is from the factory) then apps2sd will stay turned off.

Battery optimizations
The stock mms.apk was possibly causing a wake lock. I have swapped it for a different one while I do some testing.
Raised VM kernel dirty page writeback frequency to 15 seconds. This wakes the phone up less often for background VM activity. Every single application in Android is technically running in a VM (virtual machine) so that's why this helps (as recommended by lesswatts.org).
Compcache 0.6.2 / Ramzswap enabled -- Thanks to toastcfh for compiling the modules! Compcache creates a RAM based block device (named ramzswap) which acts as swap disk. Pages swapped to this disk are compressed and stored in memory itself. Compressing pages and keeping them in RAM virtually increases its capacity. This allows more applications to fit in given amount of memory. This will only kick in when the stock memory (which the Evo has plenty of) gets low.
I have tuned the default to be 100mb ramzswap size with 40% swappiness
You can check compcache's use by opening an adb shell and typing: rzscontrol /dev/block/ramzswap0 --stats

Added PowerTOP 1.11. From LessWatts.org: Programs can make your [phone] use more power. PowerTOP is a Linux tool that helps you find those programs that are misbehaving while your [phone] is idle. -- Compiled by cyanogen.
To run PowerTOP just open an adb shell and type: "powertop -d". It will scan for 15 seconds and then print out a report.
The first section will show you what % of time your phone spent running at what Mhz. In the screen shot above my phone was asleep so it was at 245Mhz the whole time.
The next section shows wakeups-from-idle per second. 50-80 would be normal. If you are in that range then you don't have a problem.
The next list is the top causes for wakeups. Compare your list to mine (I only showed the top 3).
All the way at the bottom it will have optimizations that can be made to lower power use. These changes can not be made to the rom itself, they must be made to the kernel. While other roms claim they made changes to the kernel, if they are using the stock kernel (if they aren't over-clockable then they are using the stock kernel) then they didn't. While there is a kernel source available to us, I have chosen to continue using the stock kernel until our official source is released by HTC for stability reasons.
I have chosen to NOT include adless browsing in my rom. I used adless browsing in all of my Hero Android 1.5 roms because it actually blocked ads from the browser. In Android 2.1 this functionality stopped working so I stopped including it. It was pointed out to me that while it doesn't block them in the browser, it does block them in apps (background data). The reason I am choosing to not include this is because as a developer myself, I feel that the authors deserve to get paid for what they do if you want to use their app. If you are choosing to use their free ad-driven application then I don't want to contribute to people blocking those ads and preventing the dev from getting paid.

You must use the new WiMax radio with this rom. First flash the rom, and then the new WiMax radio. Read the release notes with the radio. This will NOT fix your phone if you are having problems with 4g. If you have been a Fresh user all along and haven't flashed any radios and stuff that weren't from me then this will work perfectly for you. If you do have any issues then just do a full data wipe and then reflash the rom. But if your 4g is already broken then follow the link in the release notes for the WiMax radio to get that fixed.

I have the Rom manager with the clockworkmod recovery and I keep tryin to flash the recovery RA through the terminal from the market because I'm not to familiar with fastboot. I'm tryin to use the fresh update but it won't work with clockwork recovery. Can someone please help???

I have had this a couple times on different builds. Go to applications, remove the wireless tether, go here h**p://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/detail?name=wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre2.apk&can=2&q= from your phone and it will reinstall, this has always fixed my issues with force close. You must uninstall first though.

Well that sucks... this rom has been in testing for a week and not a single person mentioned the wireless tether FC. haha. I'm sorry guys.

mine wireless tether hasnt FC at all...
Tapatalk has tho... but it seems random. Im using the latest 1.69
Ive only seen it happen twice though.

Perfect!!!!!! On the Tether issue, reload binairies (sp) fixed my just fine.

Just want to clarify one thing. Do we need to wipe the device if upgrading from Fresh 0.5.3?
In the release notes there you say you have to wipe first, which I did, and stated you wouldn't have to wipe again. Now this has the exact same statement in it. Just want to make sure I do the right thing.

There's a bunch of crap that comes with this phone, including Bejeweled 2, dT Sync, KidZone, My Account, My Device, Notes, Slacker Radio, T-Mobile Mail, T-Mobile TV, TeleNav GPS, qik Video Chat, and Zinio Reader.
Which of these can I uninstall (using Titanium Backup) and not mess things up? I ask because Media Room has T-Mobile TV and Slacker Radio tiles and I don't want to lose access to my videos and FM radio if Media Room refuses to start after uninstalling say Slacker Radio.

There are already lots of threads about that in this forum... Just search or browse and you'll find lots of useful info. You can freeze Media Room, T-Mobile TV, and Slacker Radio without any problems at all, but if you freeze one or the others and they're trying to access the other program that may cause problems. Just make a NANdroid backup and experiment! That's what we're all doing!

This thread sums up our pool of knowledge, spread over a couple of threads and condensed into one.
We were bouncing back and forth between freezing and uninstalling, in various configurations right after we got root, and I re-wrote everything into posts 19 through 25.
You can pick and choose what you want to get rid of - the only apps that have a dependency on something else are:
-The two "my account" apps, which is explained in the thread and:
-Widgets after removing the Sense launcher.
Removing the Sense launcher (rosie.apk) means you can't use a majority of the pre-installed widgets that come on the phone. It's safe to remove any and all widgets without affecting the apps they link to, whether you remove the Sense launcher or not.
In that thread I linked, we do not cover removing any of the Sense frameworks or deep system files, just surface .apks - so it's all pretty safe there. The stock camera app will still function, as well as anything else that depends on Sense frameworks to run correctly.
You can pick and choose what you want to get rid of in the list - and it's very specifically listed where the .apk and /data files are located so you can make sure everything got removed ok.
I would recommend using Absolute System Root Tools to uninstall the apps, and make sure to clear the data first.
Go back afterwards and use Root Explorer to delete the empty data folders left behind, and the .odex files that Absolute system (or any other uninstaller) won't get rid of.
Again, all the paths and full names of the .apk and .odex files, as well as the /data folders are listed explicitly in the thread, so you should have no trouble finding everything for each specific app you want to get rid of.
It was a big effort from quite a few people here to track it all down, and we are still adding more stuff to the list. If you find something you can get rid of that we haven't covered, add it to the thread so others don't have to re-invent the wheel.

Edit -*(you can use Absolute System to remove those folders and files left behind with the root system file browser I believe, but I prefer root explorer and if you're gonna do this kind of stuff you should pick it up anyway - it's worth the money)
I have no experience with titanium backup, but if you can do all the functions of that with it, then more power to you, post up here if you can use that to delete the empty folders and .odex files that it probably won't get.

Debloating The SM-G360T1, SM-G360T & Others: An Easy Guide

There's not a lot of information out there for the Galaxy Core Prime on how we might debloat and save more space, so I decided to make a short tutorial that might help people with some easy steps in cleaning up their device. This guide is meant to be pretty basic and to just help point people in the right direction so that it speaks to a broader scope of Galaxy Core Prime Models, but is based specifically on the SM-G360T1. The SM-G360T is essentially the exact same phone though, so all of these steps should apply directly to that device too. Other Galaxy Core Prime models will be able to use this as well, but just be sure to read the special "NOTE" part of each step. Also, I'm sure it goes without saying, but inevitably I'll get the question, so obviously, root is required for this!
Anyhow, here we go:
1) Do a full backup in recovery before deleting system stuff. This is always a good idea just in case you delete something you're not supposed to and android stops working, then you can just go into recovery(TWRP, CWM, etc.) and restore your backup and your back to square one. It's good to do a new backup too a few days after when you're sure your deleted apps aren't causing any problems so you can restore to that slimmer version later if need be. Also, you should probably save your backup files to the external sd as you will likely have more free space there.
2) Install a debloated rom in recovery. SlimPickins is a great one for the SM-G360T1. It's basically the stock firmware for the MetroPCS Core Prime, but thanks to @Koognod we can now run Android without all the extra junk using his rom. It comes already debloated, deodexed and deknoxed, so you can just install it and not have to deal with finding all the junk to delete for yourself. It's already gone! It's also great for speeding up your bogged down phone or creating more space for your apps and media. Here is the link.

NOTE: YOU CAN NOT INSTALL THIS ROM IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE SM-G360T1. It should work fine on the SM-G360T too, but for anyone else just try googling or searching XDA for your "model #" and "debloat rom".
3) I recommend deleting the "PreloadInstaller" folder from "/system/app/" with a Play Store root browser. You should do this before deleting any system apps in my opinion, as this folder contains an apk that is programmed to put back a lot of the system stuff you delete(either immediately or after reboot). If you don't feel comfortable deleting this folder just yet though, then you can just move it to your external sd card for now with your browser to save space in case you ever want to move it back or just skip this step. Your choice!
NOTE: If you don't have the SM-G360T1 or SM-G360T, then your "PreloadInstaller" folder may be called something slightly different or you may not even have it at all. Just look for something similar in there. Be careful not to delete the package installer though as that's the program that allows you to install apps yourself.
4) You need an app that uninstalls system apps. I use "System App Remover(ROOT)" from the Play Store personally because all your deleted system apps actually go into a recycle bin first where they can be restored later if needed. It also tells you if the app in question is a "Key Module"(ie. proceed with serious caution).
5) Google search the internet for system stuff that's ok to delete for your device. It helps to search your model usually, but I don't think there's much info out there for the Galaxy Core Prime unfortunately, so just searching something like "Debloat Samsung Safe" can be a great resource as many Samsung phones have the same system junk.
6) Delete all the obvious stuff you don't want. This would be things like any of the MetroPCS stuff(or whatever carrier you have) or even the Galaxy app store if you don't want it. A lot of Google apps can be deleted too, though you want to be a little more careful with those as Android is pretty much based on the Google Services Framework and many Google apps are tied into the system. Generally, apps like Chrome, Docs, Drive, Hangouts, Maps(if you prefer another map application like Waze or whatever), etc. are good to go if you want. I wouldn't delete any of the core Google apps though that may handle major processes on your phone, like Calendar, possibly even Gmail or any of the ones that you don't know what they do. Deleting the stock camera, gallery, video or music player may sometimes give you problems down the line too, so I would probably keep those. You can also back all your apps up before deleting with Titanium Backup from the Play Store too in case you delete something that you need to put back later.
*NOTE: Some apps, like the Google ones for instance, may cause popup errors after you delete them. This is normal. Your phone's just looking for all those files that were just secretly running a few moments ago. All you have to do is reboot to get rid of those messages. If they still persist, then just reinstall the app.
7) Download an app to clean up that leftover mess. When you delete an app, especially with system stuff, it often leaves a bunch of folders and junk behind. Go to the Play Store and download an app that allows you to clean all that up. There's lots of good ones. I like to use one called "SD Maid" myself. It's good at cleaning up those leftover files and has a feature called "CorpseFinder" in fact that does just that. It also cleans up a lot of other things on your phone.
Anyhow, if you're a heavy power user like myself or you store a lot of music or other media on your phone in addition to 20 million apps or so and you need more space, then I hope this helps you out. Take care guys. Thanks!
