For a while now... Everytime I use my "XDA Premium" app I have to deal with a Constant Delay, or Pause issue before I can... Scroll, Make Any type of Selection, Post a Reply, or just about Anything else that can be done on XDA!
Now from my Experience this is a somewhat New issue, Thinking back I'm pretty sure that this problem Started when the XDA app had a Update!
Has Anyone else experienced a Similar issue related to this? And if so How can i Fix it?
Oh yeah, also I guess I should mention I have a CDMA HTC Hero! I know that the Hero's a little outdated now, but like i said its a Fairly New Issue!
Works fine for me mate.

I need 3 people willing to flash a ROM and test: gps, browser, service, wifi, sound, mic, camera, ffc, auto rotation, and mms. If any of these things does not work, I need a detailed description of the issue and possibly a logcat if anything forcecloses. First 3 who know how to run logcat will get a PM from me...

It's definitely fast and smooth. Its hands down one of the best roms I've ever tried on the G2x. No offense to other devs. It does have a few bugs here and there, but I'm sure the dev will work his magic.

No prob. i was thinking of reviewing apps that i use on my atrix 2 and posting my findings. That way people can know how well they might run before they try it. i dunno. just a thought. sound good to anybody? i think ill cover launchers first if i do it.
It definitely seems faster to me... however it's already FC'd a couple times on me when updating/installing apps.

Yes... cleared data and all seems to be well for me. I also had a problem that it wanted to update my apps twice... ie I updated something yesterday and then it tells me to update today... it hasn't happened after clearing data so hopefully that fixed it.

Well Chrome for mac or pc always has their own build of flash, so maybe they're still developing it to be built in also.

Get CM9
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
Get cm9? You really might think about spitting off suggestions like that. ICS is in its infantile stages for the Infuse. Suggesting someone going to a partially broken firmware to get a browser? Not the best answer.
The answer should be...
Currently, from my understanding, is that Chrome only runs in an ics environment. The only way to use it would be to upgrade to the ics firmware. Now be careful, they just put up an alpha build in the ics thread found on general last night, but not everything is working. I would check it out and see if its worth it to you. The pluses of the browser, in my mind, would be negated by the minuses of the non working functions of Ics. But, the choice is yours. Good luck.

Try CM9. I is up to you however, but from my experince its worth it. Camera will be working very soon, jt fixed it but is finishing up the other stuff of the rom. IT is pretty quick, and runs nice. I am running chrome on it right now, and its ok. Some progress needs to be made, can be laggy. It is still in Beta. Sorry, porting it to ginger is not possible, you would pretty much have to create a whole new browser.
Sure...give it a shot. Why not.
When on the Inspire, I was all giddy about ICS when it first came out and flashed right away. But found that even the tiny things...camera, video...made it not a viable option for me. I use my camera daily (in the classroom, with children...) so no camera is a deal breaker for me. Plus, from my use on the Inspire, Chrome is not that great...but that's just my opinion.
Now i dont get it .....im running chrome right now on my infuse...is it a mock up copy or what ??? I got the apk from this forum.. i will try to post it in the morning

Haha kind of like me. Except camera will work anytime now, so thats not as bad. Should have listened to dman and you, its good but doesnt need all the hype. And chrome... well me it sucks, load speeds are fast but it is just too laggy, not like the pc and mac counterparts.

Eh, it's probably slow on every device in Alpha. It's not worth having, but I recommend CM9 anyways. I have Chrome, but the default browser is faster. Chrome is sluggish.
When I open Google Currents and use it in landscape mode it lags like nothing I've ever seen. In portrait mode everything is fine.

And the award for the fastest hijacking goes to......... "Google Currents lags" Thread. haha
I suggest that someone start a thread for what news app do you use (and please put up a poll, unlike the launchers thread, otherwise you get 100 responses that say "feedly" or "Flipboard"
Ok, back to the point of this thread I have used Google Currents on a couple different devices and its a terrible application. Its slow, clunky and difficult to navigate. Also, it takes up a TON of space over a short time. So yes, Google Currents lags.

I have no problems with currents beside the lag. Which is IMO not because of cached rubbish. I can take a video of what I mean.
