I've been trolling this site (& google) for a solution to my issue, but can't seem to find one. And, since i'm still considered a "newbe" i can't post within the Coredroid v6 thread, so i thought i'd start here.
Since i flashed v6.1 i don't seem to get weather information with the htc weather widget. I'm in an area where my city isn't listed, but i've always gotten "my location" weather information based on where i am located.
I wiped & flashed full Rom, Network is on, GPS is on, but no weather info. Htc widget says "my location" & lists time & date but that's it. I've removed & reinstalled the widget, rebooted, etc. Nothing is working for me.
FWIW, when i choose a listed city the weather info is listed.
Can anyone assist with something i may be missing?
I am having this same exact problem on my inspire with the Coredroid rom. Does anybody have any solutions to this issue?
I ended up flashing the new Coredroid 6.5 today and now it resolved. Not.sure if it was an issue when I flashed or not.
They have a 6.5 version out!? Could you post a link or is the update on the Coredroid thread page?

Yep, it was just released yesterday. It's up on the Coredroid page. Only one little glitch i have (and it revolves around the weather lock screen), but i'll try and re-flash and see if that fixes it.
Read the known issues for any rom you're about to try, then if there's an update for said rom, read the changelog. They don't type all that for nothing.

What's your glitch with the weather lockscreen? The shortcuts on the lockscreen somehow seemed to have disappeared on my phone.

Yeah, that's exactly what i'm noticing too. I've flashed twice, load the weather lock screen, along with new shortcuts. Initially it worked once, but after reboot, i've lost the weather on the lock screen, and the shortcuts show for 1/2 sec & disappear.
I may try downloading v6.5 again. Maybe it didn't download completely.
LeeDroid GB with Sense 3.0 seems to work well with the new weather app....

I tried flashing 6.5 again and noticed a message during the install stating "user data not touched. to do a fresh install manually delete user data" I'm thinking maybe this could be a reason but I don't know how to manually delete data.

Att.Fan, did you ever get the lockscreen issue figured out? I haven't had time to download a new file and re-flash, but that's my next step.
I haven't noticed any posts regarding v6.5 and lockscreen/weather issues.
On the coredroidroms.com website they mentioned a fix for the weather issue in the 6.5 version of the rom but there are other issues now with MMS messaging. They are trying to fix those as well.

i noticed that it doesnt have the same lockscreen as the sensation
is there a way to get this on my phone without root?
because i saw somewhere on phandroid.com that XDA has an installable app
for the EVO (not 3D) adnd i was wondering if anyone knows about an app for the slide
Well you're definitely not going to be able to do it without root since it's a system file. If you try to install an .apk over the existing system file it just won't work without root.
If you do find the .apk let me know cause I'd pay $10 for that right now, it's really all I feel like this phone is missing! I think, however, it's integrated into the framework of the phone - since you can customize through the personalization menu - and that simply installing an .apk won't work exactly as we would wish! We're probably going to have to wait for a custom ROM to come out which hopefully shouldn't be too long!

Have you tried computerkid23's rom? Brings back the standard android lockscreen bar and gets rid of this Sense 'ring'.

Use NoLock (or other app to disable the stock lockscreen) and get Agile Lock.
I'm currently using fallout v4.4.0 HTC one v ported custom rom.the rom is flipping fantastic! The only bug is the lock screen bug.when there is notification or music player widget appear on the lock screen the shadow area doesn't cover the whole screen(refer to my screenshot).
I understand the user has notice this bug is due to m10 issue and cannot been solved.however there is a solution patch available in China android forum.unfortunately that patch doesn't work on fallout rom.can anyone solve this problem???

Hey. I fixed Jelly Bean to my HTC Sensation few days ago and have since then trying to chage ( Lookscreen programs ) Now i have Camera to the left and unlock to the right and Google Now at " Up"
I wanna change that if it´s possible. I have been looking at every possible setting but without any luck :'(
im using AOKP Jelly Bean ROM.
Is there any way to change lookscreen programs please tell me how (A)

Go to system settings, than lock screen, slider short cuts. You can than change to how you like. Hope this helps.

I don´t have any lockscreen under Settings. onlything i have named lockscreen is under "Rom Control" And there is nothing there named Slider Shor Cuts.

Guys, I'm trying to replace the standard Dialer (Phone) with GO Dialer EX.
I've downloaded GO Contacts EX and when asked set GO Dialer EX by default. Now when I tap on Phone shortcut GO Dialer EX starts - everything is ok.
But when I'm trying to launch Phone from Lock screen the standard Dialer starts instead of expected GO Dialer EX.
How to fix it?

ViperS ROM has a feature to change lockscreen shortcuts. I don't know how they managed to do it though. You can ask the devs in Viper thread, maybe they can help

Change lockscreen shortcuts by changing the shortcuts on the bottom of the homescreens (the shortcuts to the left and right of the icon that brings up the app drawer)
