This is Murder ChaRgED, It is based on a Theme by Overstew from the Epic 4G forums. I threw in a few mods of my own. I hope you all enjoy. I only had one day to test this theme and encountered zero bugs. If you notice any bugs or have a question in general, Please post it in the this thread. It has been my experience that posting such problems/questions in the thread itself, benefits everyone using the theme. Now its time to pay respect to people I kanged from. Yes, its in the works. Ill polish everything up and release it when kejar releases the new Gummy Rom. I also have to theme swype beta and a couple other things. Im really looking forward to sbrissen mods. Having 6 lock screens to theme is fun...

LOL, yeah well I cant take credit for it. My modded dialer worked but everytime I would end a call it would FC. So I finally gave up. The dialer I used came from nitro.

You would have to flash it. you cant install like a reg .apk. Root explorer/reboot method might work but ive never tried it.......

that fc actually sounds like your phone.apk. you cant put folders in the apk, you have to drag and drop images into the folders in the compiled apk. i edit and screw with the dialer all the time, its the phone.apk that is the trouble.

Yeah. I didnt mod the phone.apk tho, but yes I know. I encountered that with the very first theme I ever ported. If it wasnt for nitsuj17 my phone.apk would still be force closing. LOL
I still have to theme the in call dialer on this one. You can actually mod the phone.apk right on your phone using a metamorph file and zip themer, you can also change out swype.apk images this way.......

This is my modified NexTheme that I had put together for GummyJar 2.1 (This theme will not work on Rubix.) By request I have ported it for compatibility with the 2.5 update. Again I would like to thank Manup for his timeless NexTheme and of course kejar for the great rom and all the countless devs and themers who contribute to our great community. Update
Here's a kind of cool little metamorph theme based off the Thunderbolt system dump the "Metal.apk" skin to be exact. This has only been tested and applied over Gummy 2.5 and my NexTheme Mod. I also included a dock for LP. I recommend applying the themes one at a time and applying framework-res last. Here's some screens...
Some instructions...
1. Download file
2. Place it in the AndroidThemes folder on your sd card.
3. Open metamorph and select unzip/extract new. If metamorph closes don't worry just restart the application and select existing theme.
4. Apply the apk's one at a time applying framework last and reboot.

Camera
This is an awesome ROM. Tried tranq, rummyrx, and this one is awesome. Is there any way to get the HD capabilities put back on the camera though? I used the "modes" on the video a lot and looks like it's the standard camera. I know it's blurless, which is good, but the full functionality of the camera would be the only thing I would have.

The version in the GummyJar2.1/Rubix is the one you can use with 1.9.5 if you want the inverted gmail and google voice i'll make an update zip this afternoon and attach it to that thread.

I did have another rom but it had the stock X camera and features. This rom replaced it with what looks like the old Droid camera. The gallery is great but the functionality of the stock X camera/camcorder was awesome (scenes ect.)

This rom has almost all AOSP apps which is the point of it. If you want a themeable blur rom look to ApeX or a deodexed stock rom. But for rom questions, bugs and request direct them to kejar's thread or the developer of the particular rom you are interested in or using. This thread is for the development of a theme for the GummyJar 2.5 rom let's try and stay on topic.

I'm certain I have seen some market apps that expand the options of the camera. Also google is your friend if there have been any enhancements or mods to aosp Camera.apk I am sure you can find them here.(before pushing or flashing be sure to back up your apk by renaming it to Camera.bak via a file explorer like root explorer.) One thing you will learn over time is that no rom is 100% perfect for 100% of the community. Some roms are geared toward speed ie gummyjar, rubix etc. Some are complete source builds ie CM and The Gem series for example. Some are hybrids...ApeX and I believe drod had a blur version of rubix for the .15 system files but I'm not certain if there's been continued development. You just got to flash a bunch and find what works best for you as a compromise between your wants and needs.
Really awesome theme. One of my favorites for gummy. I really like the changes made in the gmail app. The only thing I don't care for is the alarm, but otherwise awesome.

Yeah I'm waiting on Liberty and the next installment of Rubix to drop and a MAJOR update will then occur. Glad you guys like it. I will be adding a metamorph mod to the op its based of the "Metal" apk theme from the Thunderbolt/Mecha dump with all the NexTheme goodness rolled in.

Hey guys I don't know about you but I really like the basic GB theme that has come out on Kejar's and Drods roms...BUT...that ORANGE had to go...so it went in favor of the awesome green. I also edited and changed all the stock Android widgets to match the current YouTube so it keeps everything uniform but with the "new stock" look(decompiled, optimized and recompiled )...I would first and foremost like to thank Kejar and Drod as they are currently developing my favorite roms. Secondly the XDA community as a whole specifically Dr. Coverdale(for his awesome tutorial on draw9patch and editing .9 pngs), Stericson (for the freaking awesome Metamorph and NinjaMorph and all his tutorials)well to be honest the list is long and prestigious so again a big thanks to XDA as a whole.

Here is my "personal preference" Metamorph...This changes the tabs on the dialer and removes the lines from under the numbers on the dialer and incall phone pad it also removes the green button press. Also this will add the round smileys to framework-res, Mms and Talk. I also changed the music widget and icon images. This will likely be the last mods on this theme as I am(and I'm sure alot of us are.) awaiting the drop of Liberty rom and the next Rubix but if interest in this theme is maintained I will port it to support Kejar/Jrummy and Drod's next developments...screen shots below...

Here's the themed LP by Benny879 you must have the plus version to use the widgets. Also included in the zip is a set of GB icons by Fab from his ApeX rom. (A very good rom for those looking for a compromise between aosp/blur.) Also a dock that I resized and edited from a com.htc.resources.apk(I included the blank icon for the launcher.) Yeah I was looking at battery percentages but the battery is kind of small and verticle making it a bit difficult...but I may have a solution come tomorrow. What other icons would you like?

I really like GJ the way it was with the gingerbread look. Well I thought I did till I found this theme. This gave the rom the finishing touches I was looking for and I feel should have been included to make it perfect in both form and function. This is a AOSP Gingerbread theme for AOSP ROMs with Theme Chooser such as EVO-Deck 1.3 and CM7. Just Install the APK like any other, go to theme chooser select apply anyways reboot and enjoy!

Well both apps were being a PITA so it posted a few dupes and some missing screens but u can get the idea those were taken on decks 1.3 with go launcher ex and several of the go ics themes and ics clocks and fancywidgets pro ics clock/weather

I installed this and tried launching it on Theme Chooser but it doesn't show up at all.
Is it suppose to go into a specific folder or something?
I just tried it out astute and it worked fine in my theme chooser. Try uninstalling it and install it again via a file manager.

Evil = is there a way to make it have original stock icons?

Not sure on icons I use GOLauncher EX so I can easily change all my icons, the only way I could think of would be to re do the entire theme with stock icons or I believe there's an app called anycut or something like that that allows you to change icons but I've never used it so I'm not sure I might give anycut a try tho cuz I would like to replace some stock app icons without having to use apkmanager to just change the icon out, cuz that's a pain just for an icon
Edit: if you check Sonny's thread (link in OP) he may have a mod for it he has a bad ass lockscreen morph I'm using for my callscreens (I'm using go locker with ics HD) my phone looks just like ics ppl ask how i have everything working and already modded on ics, I just lie and tell em I'm a super dev then I'm like nah just playing I'm on decks 1.3 heavily modded to mimic ics :-D

If u look at the homescreen shots in OP, the top left numbers on the glass system tuner are my free ram 223 at idle and 170 while multitasking I think I had g+ xda opera mini a game and my music player all running when I jumped to home and snagged that screen shot

1.3 works just fine for me 1.3d was missing a few things in 1.3 I really liked like circle sliders and a few other lil things 1.3d liked to randomly freeze on me but after I did my usual ROM raping on 1.3 it works just fine I never run a ROM right out of the box tho I always find one I like use it as a base and customize it

Once you get used to go I think you'll really like it I use all go apps and migrate them to /system and remove stock everything except dialer and SMS I leave those and just hide them because without stock SMS my MMS pics don't work and stock dialer is needed for in call dialpad
Edit: I use golauncher ex, go contacts/dialer ex, go SMS pro, and all of the go Widgets along with fancy Widgets pro and battery monitor and system tuner pro as well as audio manager pro and that's is widget wise go Widgets I use calander, notes/to do, email, messaging, Facebook, twitter, contacts and taskmanager
Edit: one more I use circle launcher pro for all my favorite apps as a quick launcher

I'm gonna add a zip to our box with the decks 1.3 and 1.3d roms the theme some zip themer morphs and some other addons for TRN EXCLUSIVELY. It will be everything you need to mod evodeck GB to look mimic ics I'm going to include extra apks and themes I can't post here for the team to use gonna zip em up write up a how to and add em to our box a lil later today

This theme will not work on the new CWM 5. You need Valhalla Final with CWM3.

Its pretty sweet. Quick question i did a different ics theme on go launcher and it changed the wallpaper. I want the lightening wallpaper back. I looked through the zip files. Is it in there i didnt see it.

Yep, There is an ICS.apk file that is the go launcher theme. If you change the theme back to the go launcher Default Theme, Then reboot and go back into go launcher settings/theme and apply my theme you should get the wallpapers back. If not let me know and I can send you a zip with the images.
Also, Thanks TheKucho I wish I had more time to work on it but then I would never get work done. There are a few things I would change but overall I think it came out pretty well...
Now I am going to start a new theme...
Any Ideas, feel free to throw them my way...

Hey Racing -- nice theme. Some aspects are a nice improvements over your previous ICS theme, but I have a few questions / comments:
- Can you offer an alternate version without the women on the pull-down menu?
- How can I change the transition when launching Gmail? The side-ways slide effect is a bit unusual and different from launching other apps.
- When opening a contact, some labels appear to be missing or just black. I'm not sure how it looked before, but for example the icons that indicate which accounts have been linked to a contact (i.e. facebook, google) they are just sort of surrounded by black. Also, the "Message" button has no frame around it anymore. EDIT: Having reverted to my ROM backup, I can confirm that all section labels in the contact info screen, i.e. "Phone", "Email", "Joined Contacts" etc. are missing in your theme -- they appear to be black text on black background.
- EDIT: One more -- the History tab of the dialer is also missing the labels for the different dates -- it's just black on black and therefore invisible
- EDIT2: And another one -- the Gmail new mail notification icon is yellow again, not blue, like it was in your ICS theme

If you are on Valhalla final it is already installed. People seemed to be having trouble with CWM5 but I have verified and this works fine on the new kernel....
That's cool I've got black over final.. I thought i should just reload final then flash this over that...

Synergy rom puts the gmail app in the data/app folder so you have to move the gmail app to the system/app to make sure it gets proper theming...
Here are the instructions to get the theme working....I used root explorer to do the following:
1. Download the theme
2. Using root explorer go to the data/app folder and long press on the gmail app.
3. After long pressing choose the move option.
4. Then paste the gmail app to the system/app folder
5. Long press on the gmail app again now change permissiong to rw-r-r
6. Reboot phone to recovery 6.010
7. Flash theme
8. Clear cache and davlik
9. Reboot Phone
10. Enjoy the hotness

Keep in mind John had to keep multiple threads because joelz, newt,Nils and lllboredlll all used different bases for their sense 4 roms. To be honest John did an awesome job maintaining the theme for so many different rom bases. Please do your research before making such statements.
my arsenal of basic icons
the initial post had the battery, data and signal bars all as red due to a request. I usually do green battery, red data and blue signal which is where it will probably end up but here is a taste of my arsenal I could use...
Anybody flash this yet? I tried using cwm 6.010...never got past the Samsung screen.
What recovery do you recommend john?

OK going go test now. I'm on 1.7 synergy. I haven't flashed any other themes or mods. I'm on twrp so I'm going to flash a cwm recovery and I'll report back my findings.

OK so I just flashed using clockwork mod touch 5.8 with no issues. Seems like it worked. I just found some of the theming aspects odd. I'm not sure it if was intentional or if it didn't flash properly on my phone
For instance I see you themed the play store icon in your pics that you posted but when I flashed the theme its not themed on my phone. I'm going to post a pic for your review.
I'd be willing to be a tester as well if needed. Thanks for giving us another theme to flash without even owning the phone!! Appreciate that! :thumbup:

The Op tells you that you have to move your gmail app from data/app to syatem/app before flashing the theme. I have been helping with this theme for weeks and the only issue was the gmail theming properly.

Hey john, when you say that this should work with "any version as long as it has the same base", are you talking about no sympathy's vragl1 base?
I would like to try scotts clean rom but it seems that all the themes are being made for synergy.

You also put in a back handed comment saying don't let it get out of control...So if anyone is being a **** it was you with the post that offended the op.
He only brought this theme to our device because I begged him for weeks. John was totally content on staying on the Rezound forum. Again he had to make seperate threads for his theme so people could enjoy the hotness without messing up their phones. Just like the mods assigned to the galaxy s3 seperated the forum by carrier.
So again do you research sir.
