.. microphone. Or at least, a minijack socket. I recorded a video off my artemis yesterday of someone playing drums. It's distorted to hell, it can't handle it and even if it could, it's thin and tinny. I have a great sony stereo mic which I use with my minidisc recorder. It would be great to use it with a phone, or better still, to have a phone with a high quality stereo mic built in. Has this been done or is it likely? Not to mention the video frame rate is terrible.

You're using your phone to record live music, did you expect to record an album with it?

No.
The question is quite straight forward. Anyone else like to have a go?
I know the sound through headphones is supposed to be top notch.
How is the sound quality of the loudspeaker though? (my references are the tp2 and n8 on the good side and hd2 on the bad with mt4gs in the middle)
How is the audio recording quality? On my mt4gs it's mediocre at best and gets distorted easily so I would really like an improvement.
Thanks
What is the purpose of second mic? Just for stereo recording?
Would be nice to use it for noise canceling.
It is for noise cancelation.
Are there any single-ear BT earpieces that deliver and receive HD audio/wideband audio when using Skype, for example?
I had a Jawbone Era Shadowbox but that was only capable of receiving audio of that quality. The audio transmitted was low quality and muffled - only telephone quality. Not what I was looking for as I would like to use the earpiece with a laptop occasionally for video calling.
I believe the Jawbone Era 2014 model is capable of delivering the HD/wideband audio I am looking for, but I would prefer to take first-hand experiences not tech reviews.
Hey all,
I'm experiencing bad music output via with my op8, and btw experienced the same with my previous op 7.
While quality in headphones is fine, the quality in external speakers via bluetooth/cable is far from perfect: trebles are distorted and not pleasant, mid range bass is weak, and the only sort of bass present is irritating. Its not terrible - and can be tweaked a little in dolby atmos settings, but its so much worse than the samsung a50 i had.
Am i alone here? any other audiophiles in the crowd? is there something i can do?
