Hello guys,
is it possible to unbrand my LGO3D without losing my original Optimus UI, so I guess without flashing it? Actually I just want to get rid of some carrier-apps which are annoying me. How exactly is this possible?

Brick = your phone is broken, ****ed, dead...why would you want to destroy a phone?
New to this or not, there are guides for everything under the sun..just take 5 minutes and try to find them yourself..the world is so lazy

i had bo clue i just hada couple buddys tell me about this and i dont understand what i could do if i hacked it...like what are the results?
I think its best that you don't try 'hack' it. It mightn't turn out the best for you. What you can do by 'hacking' it is installing custom ROM's and accessing and have the ability to write protected /system files.

hi i don't know if i am posting in the right section of this forum, but i was just wondering if it is possible to get cyanogen mod 7 (or any of them) onto the lower end phone the lg vortex!>? i noticed that it is possible to get it on the optimus v, and since the optimus v is so similar to the vortex, is it all possible???

hey how you guys doing, last nigth i installed an app in my phone and it ask to be reboted so i acepted it, when it turn on it stay in the "lg" with an black background pic and stays there and doesnt do anyuthing else, i allready charged it and wiped it but nothing works pls help me im desesperated

Post this in the optimus 3D forums to get more help as your phone is an optimus 3D.
If it won't do anything then what do you mean when you wiped it...did you erase the phone?

yea i did it couse i thougth it was something i could download but it steel dont turn on
If phone is erased you need to ask on proper forum as they can tell you how to fix it but from what you say it sounds like you need to reflash it.

so how can i do it?phone is erased but i supose it should turn on and start as new and ask for every configuration but it just satys in "lg" like before wipe
hey guys i just flashed promethius rom and now im stuck on lg screen can get into cwm but thats about it can any one help me think i will have to go back to stock anyway i want to update to gingerbread this lg optimus 3d is still running froyo plz help guy
Try a factory reset from within cwm
i think you cant run prometheus, until you have gb on your o3d.First you need to flash it.Use kdz method or wathever you like to do this.

I'm pretty sure the fact that you're running froyo is the reason why flashing the rom.did not work. Promethius operates on gingerbread basebands so you need to be updated for the rom to work properly. It would also help if you asked this in the promethius thread lol

hello
Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable
Run Lg Suite
remove the batteries and then insert
you hold the power On end volume up (+)
keep it pressed until lg suite says that the phone is connected
Or you will see the option to upgrade - If yes, update your phone to the basic version
And if it does not display upgrade options
Go to the Emergency Recovery system end typing the IMEI and install - end update your phone to the basic version.

Not to be rude or anything but please don't start a new thread every time a single problem occurs. Also, do some searching and reading in the threads that are already there. There's at least 4 guides to do a kdz flash. We shouldn't have to hold your hand every time something happens.
But really, update to gingerbread and that'll clear up 90% of your problems

What baseband are you using? Which version of the rom did you flash?

Hi, Question: is it ok if ill pick stock apps from other devices and put on my rooted l7 p705? will it work jz fine? see for example ill pick stock apps from lg l7 p710 or lg g2 like calendar, calc, alarm, and memo and use it as stock on my l7 p705 wil it work or no? thank u.

Hello dude you can try it... No problem..... Just make a backup of your stock apps... With es file or other tools.....
Because not all apps will work... So if any apps not working or in case you don't want it you can restore your back up....
I also tried many apps on my device from other devices..... Some apps work.. And some other not......
