[Q] Battery charger stand? - Galaxy S I9000 Accessories

Hello all,
I have been searching for an extra battery and charging stand. The battery, I have found.
The charger, though, not so much. I seem to only be able to find Samsung stands that come with a battery - which are a lot more expensive.
So, I want something like this: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/genuine-samsung-galaxy-s-holder-and-battery-charger-p25780.htm.
Without the battery...
Also: 1650 mAh Samsung battery, or Momax 1700 mAh battery?
Thanks in advance,
bassie1995

Hey man,
I don't know if you've found it already but you should take a look at this:
www.mytrendyphone.nl/shop/samsung-i9000-galaxy-32683p.html
(It's a dutch website, sorry for that )
I'm planning on getting this charger so i can dock my phone and charge both my Samsung battery and my other 3500mAh battery.

Nice, I'll take a look
BTW, I'm Dutch too

I have seen something similar, but at a somewhat lower price.
Also, this probably will not work with a Case-Mate case...
Have not seen many good reviews on things like this on Amazon, too...

Oh zag niet dat je Nederlands was, haha
Maar even zodat anderen het ook kunnen volgen:
You can just pull the case off if you want to charge the phone, and i think this would be the best charger out there for docking it on your desk and charging a spare battery at the same time, i've seen others as well but i think this would be the best one.
I'm planning on ordering one so we'll see.

I bought this one, charges both spare battery and phone. Connected to PC too.
$16 Can't go wrong!

Extended Batteries?

Anybody have any luck with extended batteries? If so what is a good brand to get and where from?
I bought a generic 1800mAh battery on the cheap through eBay. It has worked fine for me.

Yes, but is it better than stock? I highly doubt it's actually 1800mAh. If it is, then the Chinese have turned into wizards.
I am currently using these. I just started using it, so not sure how different it will be. I will let you know.
The reviews are kind of hit and miss
I seen one on ebay where you remove the battery cover, and it was a case too. with like a 3500ma or so.
But I like my Otterbox to much.
I'm using an Anker 1600mAh from Amazon. It's noticibly better than the stock battery, but it takes a week of overnight charging to get the most out of it.
http://www.amazon.com/Anker-1600mAh...NRRQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1329521650&sr=8-1
I bought an Anker Slimtalk external battery for mine. Going pretty good so far. I can top up my battery when it goes too low in the evening.
I bought an Anker 1600 mAh and actually performs slightly better than stock battery.. maybe It's the Rom maybe not... Because with ICS I got 23 hours with stock and 18 with Anker..

are the really cheap batteries on ebay any good? How do they compare to the original?
I have a Dynapak(I think that's the name) from Amazon and I notice a difference compared to stock. I think I paid $16 when I bought it for two. I believe it says they're 1600 mAh or 1650. I'm happy with it.

While there's no way to prove or disprove your statement without bench tests, many people have confirmed that the Anker batteries last longer in an apples to apples test.

Might just be temporary. Even on ebay the seller laptopmate USA (same authorized seller from amazon) raised the price to $67 to keep people from bidding. But they did not remove the auctions. So they will be back.

But some batteries will fry your phone completely. OC/UV/OV will decrease the life of your phone but it will still last for years.

wait a minute......is this a slip battery with 1800mah??or is it a thick one? Cuz i am in dire need of a slim battery with better battery life! Well not really dire need, just want to spend some cash recently lol.
I have this battery. Got it from The Battery Connection eBay store. Didn't actually order it, ordered a regular battery like I had already ordered from them before, got this instead. Not sure if it's 1800mAh or not, but I do know that my phone stays on !% for a good while...it's the same size as the 1500mAh. Build quality could be a little better, but to put it bluntly, it works. Paid $3.85 w/free shipping on eBay. Recommend it for the price.

Best battery for extended life

As the title says I'm looking for a bigger battery for my phone.
I don't mind if it size is actually bigger just looking for recommendations please?

I am ordering one of these right now:
http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-3000-Ex...GQLK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1334418633&sr=8-5
I talked to someone that used it and said that it worked just fine. It's 3000mAh which is more than double the stock (1450 I believe). I would ask you to wait for me to review it but mine wont come for a week or so because I used cheap shipping. And yes, this battery is bigger, as you can see it comes with a replacement door.

The external charguer doesn't looks bad. Does it really has 9000mAh? Usually this kind of chinese stuff have the half of capacity that they claim.

The max capacity that you can fit under the original battery cover do not usually exceed 1800-2000 mAh in general, everything higher requires either a bigger cover or can be considered as total fake advertisement

This doesn't seem like a run of the mill chinese cheap battery. Packaging looks very professional and the company itself has amazing ratings. I would say this is a pretty safe buy. Its a company that designs the batteries in canada.
And with amazon you're well proctected. Ebay tends to always back the buyer up as well, but I always felt amazon was more legit. I have no need to ugly up my phone with a massive battery, nor do I need the extended time (stock battery suits me fine) but for someone that can't shell out a lot of money this seems like a solid deal

Yes and no. I bought a Mugen from amazon, and everything went fine. It died after about 3.5 months, and Mugen wouldn't replace it because I didn't buy direct from them.
So, most reputable companies who sell direct on amazon are OK. Mugen doesn't sell direct, so avoid them on amazon.
I'd like to see how badly this battery bulges out the phone. I've seen pictures of the galaxy note with this battery, and it looks... big.
I'm willing to test it out. I placed the order and I'll report back once I get it.

Here is my thing about batteries. Last summer when I was on the hunt for an amazing lipo battery that would make my rc car run the fastest, coolest, longest right. Well them batteries were about 60 bucks, but what I had found through my research was there were only about 4 companies world wide who produce lipo-cells, so why waste 60 bucks when I could get a 2-cell for 12 bucks. Well it only lasted the summer because I wasn't very responable with it but its perfomance was on par with the more expensive batteries and so was temp ect. It don't have to cost the most the be effective, sometimes I feel this blacknightavalon works for mugen, because I promise you people 100 for a phone battery, they seen you coming

I would never move to f**king China. Not unless they got rid of their Maoist regime. No, I just know a good battery when I'm using one, and I think the Ankers are pretty good too (as long as you order the two-pack with the wall charger).
The battery cover in the Amazon picture is clearly not for a MT4GS, but maybe it's just the stock photo they use for all this company's batteries.
Anyhow, for $20, I took a chance.
The company as a whole seems to make quality batteries, so I doubt they would skimp on our phone. And it is an actual company, not a "no name generic" battery. And as I said before, if you look up batteries for other phones from the same company, they generally have great reviews
Good point on the picture. That battery cover does not seem to fit our phone, which means the picture is a stock picture.

Personally, I'd go for a slim extended battery if they offered it, otherwise it won't work with the dock. Still, if this works well, for 20 bucks it's a no-brainer.

I looked...
The ones the other poster linked, if you click a product, the seller is listed as "ZeroLemon".
The ones you link have the seller listed as "ZeroLemon LLC"... and if you click the comapny name, it give only a list of unavailable products, while clicking the name of the seller in the other opens up a page full of products.
This is a common scam technique, to use a very similar name to a real company to sell fake items or otherwise scam customers.
As for as waiting or not... If the Hyperion making these phone batteries is the same Hyperion that makes batteries for RC use... then the Hyperion batteries should be high quality items.

I got the Hyperion 5200 battery and I have to agree with some of the posts here that it is pointless to get a higher capacity.after 20 hours of usage (the regular battery usually died after 14)I had 45% battery left even though i tried my best to drain the battery before going to sleep and putting the phone on the charger.
it is worth to wait a 7500mah
7500mAH i guess it is almost human being limited for battery producing from zero lemon battery picture,it is hard to believe.....2600mah+4900mah if 4900mah composed by two battery, which battery chips they use? question
