Unread count Google Voice & Corp E-mail

I've done a bit of searching both in the marketplace and out, and can't find icon/widgets that do unread count for Google-Voice and/or Corp (exchange) e-mail.
I've got the sms unread count widget and it will do SMS/Dialer/G-Mail (And is great BTW!). My home screen would be complete with these missing two functions.
Anyone know of such a gadget?

I second that..mainly i need an unread mail widget for my copr exchange.
On a related note, I JUST moved from windows mobile....but I notice that exchange on my droid x isn't as "stable" as my previous windows phones...the delay to getting mail ranges from a second or two all the way to hours, and it seems random.

+1, I "need" this as I completely disabled regular texting on my Verizon plan and exclusively use Google Voice for that functionality.

Can I join you guys on this boat as well? Anyone?

Sure. There is plenty of room. However, it looks like this boat is sinking. I've not found anything that will do what I(we) want.

update: I went ahead and dropped the big $1.00 on it but I am unable to make it work as of yet. It FC's when I try to add the widget. After FC'ing a few times, it will allow me to add the widget, but it doesn't "do" anything ... likely because the background service has been FC'd. I'll send the developer a note and see if I can get it working.
FYI I'm on Froyo & ADW.

Just tried to get it working myself on my Droid 2, no luck. it never prompts me to give it root access so it just doesn't work.

I have actually spent the last couple of days working with the Dev e-mailing logs and sample files back and forth. Turns out Blur hides the e-mails in a different folder, thus the cause of my problems (I assume same for D2).
If you haven't refunded the purchase, just wait a couple of days. I am pretty sure he is going to get it solved, and he's been very active in working on it.

Also, for those still looking a G-Voice unread count, go find the apk with the most recent G-voice client (it's here on XDA somewhere ... was pulled from the G2).
It has a nice widget that shows your unread messages. it's a 3x1 rather than a 1x1, but still get's the job done.

does this work on a HTC mail (exchange)
I have a HTC desire Z , not rooted...
I cant find any widget for an unread count for exchange mail....

This thread sort of just ended without a real answer for what I can tell. Did anyone find a good unread email count for corporate exchange or does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not sure if I am just doing something wrong, but when I push this to my N1 on CM 6.0 it does make the Facebook widget black however when I open it up it is the old version and not the latest (1.3.2 i think) it is running v. 1.2. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? If I go to Market and update it, it seems to make the widget go back white.

Deinstall fb & twitter, restart and flash again..

Thanks that worked. Although I couldn't seem to figure out deleting twitter but the facebook delete worked using adb. The twitter was already the latest version anyway so I won't worry about it, but last question... Will deleting google voice and reinstalling the apk you provide also give me the widget? right now I don't even have a widget, or is that for an upcoming release of google voice with a widget?

Yeah,deinstall (or adb shell rm ....) and flash it. You will get the latest with widget

I'm sorry I keep asking so many questions... But now android wont let me sync facebook contacts in the apps and sync section. if I click add account and then facebook it just goes back a screen... Any ideas? Just so you know I can see everything in the Facebook app as if I am signed in etc.

Try rebooting if that don't work go to settings/applications then find those apps clear cache remove user data then force stop then go to accounts and do it from there I had the same problem the other day so I know what you are saying.

What is the chance you could do a black Google search widget? I searched and only found ways to do it with themes. I don't want to theme, I only want to use the black widgets in the style you have made them.

I became a fan of TweetDeck and use only the widget you see on 1. screenshot.
Still got official Twitter, Facebook,..installed but no sync is active anymore. Just use it for things TweetDeck is not able to do yet , but one can expect TweetDeck getting better and better.
I sync each column every 30 minutes and it drains less batt. than the official Tw&Fb and you really get all notifications, especially FB !)

Sorry no idea why u cant...it works here 100%. Maybe push again, clear cache, dalvik...ahh, probably..go into settings-application-clear TweetDeck data.

[LIST] [20/9] Dark versions of official apps

There are a lot of great developers that alter apps to change their appearance. I like every app to have a dark background and because most official apps from big companies don't have that option, I decided to make a list of apps that have been altered in a way that they have a dark theme. I also list some alternatives. When there are too much, Ilike to focus on the alternatives with a Android 4/Holo theme. If you have any suggestions for this list, please tell me in the thread and I will add them.
I am NOT responsible for any harm these app may of may not do!!
Advise for updating
Don't update these apps through Google Play. 1 of 2 things may happen:
1. It won't update, because the app is signed by a different developer
2. You will lose your theme

- If you find a app you like in this thread, don't forget to thank the developer of that app!
- If an app doesn't work, tell me and I will delete it or at least tell you in this post that it does not work.

you should add fast for facebook it has a dark theme also, and it is lightning fast

To be honest with so many AMOLED screens, you'd think that everyone would offer a dark theme

I was considering it when first making the post, but Fast for Facebook always has 2 white bars on the screen,so it's not really that dark... I'm going to ask the developer if the colors of those bars can be customized.

Rujelus22 has some great themes and he updates constantly. I use pretty much all inverted apps that he makes. Good thread here!

Flashed, nice to have something different but i got some issues with music widget and blinkfeed which need a lot of others apps to work. Could not get standard news.
Messages is also not working (can not show message when clicking on notif under status bar, do not show any message except the one sent).
Nevertheless, with this you can sense your 5x : )

well, i can get standard news tho.. (download the news republic to blinkfeed.. and other services should be installed by yourself..) see the screenshot.. i can get feed from twitter
and about messaging, i havent tested it while in notifucation panel.. i will see to it and thanks for the feed back

and believe me, this wasnt like any of my ports..i had to download 2 system dumps, which were in gbs and both were from a slow server.. just for the sake of camera and gallery , latest versions were force closing no matter whatever i do.. so with no option i had to go for sense 7 versions.. and i will next be including fonts, rings and a boot animation.., it was 5 days it frustrated me

No worries

I use these porting app in Cosmic Os rom and pico gapps. Message app not working. İ see sms in notification panel but not Message app. İ use download google messenger and use default sms app, working correctly.

it might be some defaults or permissions problems..
