ok .... i am a real noob here .... i just bought my transformer today and upgraded it to the latest 3.2 upgrade. i am looking everywhere for instruction to how to root it ...but they all seem to be very confusing . i am in the us and its a us version . any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance !
Follow the instruction in the first post of following thread. Make sure you have all the drivers installed and you understand all the steps. After that it will take you only a minute to root it. Its as easy as couple of clicks.

OK, i am on the 3 network and have sent an email to LG regarding updating to 2.3 and they say that it is only available in the UK on the T-mobile network, I want to no if i can manually update to 2.3 that is compatible with the UK and my network. If not is there anyway to unlock my phone to make it compatible?
I have already rooted my phone using Gingerbreak
If i can update is there anywhere where i can get download links and a step by step guide that will work on my phone? i have been through many posts that explain things but i still am not to sure whether they will work with my phone, and if the ROM will work with my phone.
If i could get some advice or if someone could point me in the right direction of a post that will help me i would be most grateful!

I have the same question and problem. I want to update my Android from 2.2.2 to 2.3 or any up level.

Ive seen some guides about rooting and flashing but i just cant understnd what to do first can somebody help me step by step? Including flashing this rom? I cant understand the guide too btw here's the link of the rom i want to flash. Please teach me too on how to unbrick my phone if i failed the process i really do want to make my phone better and i think the jellybean update for this phone is not 100% sure true or if its true it will be months i guess? It's still complex, but if you really want root, you should consider going through this step-by-step.
If it's too complicated for you, maybe you should not root your device.
