Hi, I want to get the RUU_Pyramid_hTC_Asia_WWE out of the exe as a base rom. Any idea how?

Well its been ported to sense 2.1 roms you can check it out here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1062962 its mostly for dev only theres no flashable zip for it yet only do it if you know how to use adb fully

I recommend the Rom and Recovery in my signature. Couldn't be better. The link in my sig. is for a guide to help you root/flash etc...recently updated.

i tried 2 methods (both found here on xda) last night and both did not work... it did not brick my phone luckily, before i spent more time searching like a mad man on how to do this, is Android 4.0.4 root'able ? if so, which method should i use (not looking to unlock)

There is no Root method for 4.04 /ATT 2.20 firmware.
