I have a UK device running US 3.2 thats rooted. Can I get the films in the UK with any mods?When I try it just informs me I can't get films in my region.

I got my Sensation from eBay, it doesn't have a US market, and I'm not sure which country the market is for,
Anyway, the native HTC Watch that comes with it only plays trailers of some 10 movies. The movies don't update, and there's no way to get the actual movies.
Any idea how to solve this?
I think I'm getting more and more reasons to do the s-off thing.

Do any of you in the UK with a Motorola Xoom have the option to rent HD versions of films from the newly released (to the UK) Movies section of the Android Market?
I cannot see HD versions of movies on my Samsung Galaxy S2, (I want to play them back via MHL/HDMI to my TV screen), but I am not sure if this is because:
HD movies aren't available to the Galaxy S2 or;
HD movies aren't available to the UK yet
The article on the Android Market here suggests that the Motorola xoom can rent HD movies, so I wondered if someone in the UK who has a Xoom could kindly check and see if you have an HD rental option in the Android Market.
That way I would know if it was a geographical restriction (UK) or a hardware restriction (Galaxy S2).

Canadian Xoom here, I can see the movie links but cannot rent or purchase.

UK movies available here using market 3.1.6 however cannot rent movies because device is rooted and so will not play rented videos.
I have installed Resurrection-remix_ics_V1.9_AOKP-B36-4.0.4 Love it, it's awesome But my problem I'm having is that I'm in South Africa and can't seem to get Local news, sports finance etc, Only international Question...Is there a setting that I'm missing to get local South African news as well as International or has this not been developed yet? many thanks NOOB...

I am thinking about buying an Nvidia Shield Portable on my trip to Hong Kong.
I am based in Europe where the Nvidia Shield Portable is not officially released.
Are there any disadvantages about this?
Will I be able to update it with the latest drivers and run the device like it is meant to be run?

If I am correct, the update servers are the same for all regions. Yes, you can connect to it via adb and fastboot, if that's what you were wondering. However, drivers on Windows are a bit of a pain. Even more of a pain on Windows 8 and up than on Windows 7. This is why I always recommend using OS X or Linux for adb or fastboot.
If you were curious about game streaming to/from a PC, yes, that should work too. However, if you don't have a PC capable of game streaming, it will work fine with games downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Yes, it will likely come with the oldest version, but you can update it. Like I said, I'm not sure about game streaming, but they don't really have a financial gain if they were to limit that to certain regions. You'll be fine and you'll love the device, too.
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with Firmware for a Jynxbox M3? It is running slow and I was hoping to install the Linux software onto the box. I went to XC Tech video on Youtube but the link there is broke to get the actual firmware. I would much rather fix the box then spend an extra $150 like Jynxbox told me to do when I asked them for the firmware.
