Ok, gonna give it a shot
EDIT: "Image unzip fail" Userdata, everything else says ok. Am I possibly using a corrupted PD98zip?
Ok, seemed the only responses it would get were from updating to gingerbread. Worked fine, restarded then crashed and went to "HTC" black screen! At least it isnt white anymore.
Goodnight sweet CWM, and HTC phone...

I flashed Android Revolution and flashed the Rcmix Sensation kernel. Now it just boot loops displaying the HTC logo for about 15 seconds and shuts off. I tried restoring a back up to no avail, and wiped everything possible. I really need help and I'm really bummed right now. Thanks in advance.
Try flashing without the kernel. After a full wipe ofcourse.

Trying right now.
Edit: No luck
What recovery are you using? Have you tried formatting the system, data and cache partitions then installing the rom?

Using version 4.0.1.4, the blue text version, and yes Ive tried wiping everything and even mounted in recovery and installed the stock kernel, still boot looping.
Edit: Okay I got it. I just reflashed the stock kernel, then wiped everything, then reflashed the rom, then the stock kernel again. And Badaboom
I flashed the stock kernel. Now it just boot loops displaying the HTC logo and stuck there. What should I do to solve this problem?

Flash a new rom or reinstall the current one from recovery. That'll fix it.

Worse case you may have to do a full wipe
(hope you did a full backup first!)
I had this happen a few weeks ago - wiping cache did finally fix it for me. Try it more than once just to be safe.
I have justed flashed arhd 6.0 ics. stuck on beats logo after reboot eny help would be great guys cheers

Did you flash the matching firmware?
i cannot boot phone into recovery nor can i boot phone normally... I had just installed Viper one S rom on my phone and rebooted into recovery because my wifi wasnt working , so i was just going to revert back to an old rom. After clicking reboot to recovery from Viper rom the screen just went white . I had to power it down manually, after powering it up it would stop at htc screen with the red development lines... tried to go into recovery and it will come up for a second then disapear then phone reboots.... any ideas? oh I also had installed Latest radio in CWM after installing rom.. I hear its buggy in CWM...
I had the same problem. Did you flash the boot.IMG in recovery or fastboot? If you flashed in recovery and its not supported by your hboot version. That could be the issue. Try re flashing the boot.IMG using fastboot. If you still cannot get it to work. I would try reinstalling a custom recovery manually and restarting the Rom flashing process. There are forums all over the place to help with that. Try twrp. Ps this is all assuming you are able to get into your boot loader.

Problem fixed. Don't ask me how lol. All I did was relock boot loader and flash stock ROM. Stock ROM would not load so I just decided to unlocked boot loader and phone rebooted fine. Recover works to.. crazy.

That happened to me when I didn't fast boot flash the boot.IMG file, but only the latest Viper has given me grief with that.

Hello experts,
Yesterday I tried to root my HTC Sensation XE! First I unlocked this device using the htcdev then u found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668276 and i followd the instructions and finished. In the HBOOT menu this device is still listed as S-ON but i downloaded the Rootchecker app and it confirms that the device is routed.
I am trying to update to the jellybean 4.1.2 using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782009.
The cyogenmod bootscreen is stuck loading over 10min so i assumed that i am doing something wrong, so i restored it to the original ROM using clockworks.
If someone has any ideas please feel free to comment and remark.
Thanks =)
Use 4ext with smart flash on,
What it seems to me is with clock work it doesn't write the boot IMG. With that being said it would be stuck in a boot loop.

Thank you sir. I shall try this today, and replay the output produced
You're welcome!
Do you know what ROM you are going to flash?
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda app-developers app
I had no sucsess .
let me explain the procedure.
First i am turning off my phone and remove the battery.
I boot into HBOOT by pressing the volume down and power.
Acess the recove, in which the 4ext menu appears.
I select wipe phone, and after i select delate chace and dalvik
Then i select the install from sd > chose the zip.
i select the CM10 zip and install it and after i select the gaps too.
reboot the phone.
When rebooting the phone stucks the cyanogenmod boot screen
Okay. I had this same problem you are having when I first started getting familiar with flashing ROMs.
If you correctly installed 4ext recovery, go into your settings and select "smart flash on" this will allow you to flash a ROM correctly with out having your s-off. Try that and let me know.

When you flash another rom.. You should do full wipe aka 4EXT - wipe / format - format all partitions except sdcard
Then flash cm10 rom.. You will come out fine
