Does anyone know how to get media control from the lock screen? It's annoying to have to unlock my device every time I want to skip a song. Why hasn't SE realized that people want convenience?!?

Thanx for the response. But I wasn't too thrilled with having the advertisement banners with Power Amp, and I actually like the music player that comes with the device...

I never have adds because I use Addfree (only for rooted phones).
Never saw any adds in poweramp or other apps on my phone.

This is cool app, but on my Xperia X10, the Music Player and Pandora widgets are not available in this app, only the Music Beta by Google is available. :-(
Did u try the free venison or paid? Email the creator. He might b able to help. Helped me. Should work thou. I didn't do any thing special to get the widgets

there's a free version? market only shows me the paid one. I've tryed it anyway, it's a cool app and i can control google music on my lockscreen now.
if only our mods could make a Sony Ericsson theme for it...

Put it on your SD Card and browse to it using Astro or any other file manager
Just like you would install any other app
When you put it in system/app you need to change Permissions (like the other Apps in the Folder have) and then Reboot then it should be installed.
This app is ok, there are better out there but if your only a casual user of your phone for music it does everything you want to and it looks pretty good to

after the app kicked out of memory, doesn't matter how am I trying to run it, it always FC
it only work if I uninstall it with pm or TB, reboot and install then. but after it kicked out of mem it's throwin' FCs at me

it's tellin' something about missing URI and media provider...
I think the problem is really with the media provider service, so I used Rescan Media Root from Market and now all is fine. However, I prefer the purple one from source

Are you sure it works on 2.1? AFAIK it's for 2.2+. I had it running on zdzihu's and TnR's 2.2 ports without problems, but it's not working on 2.1.

I think it conflicts with the picture chooser (cooliris). I couldn't select pictures while playing music, then I stopped and worked OK.
Also can't make it refresh sd card music. Still worth it, nice app.

If you go to a different station and back to the same one again you can skip 6 more times but I am working on removing the limit altogether.

Mdpi version is up its separate from the original because the xml is the same for hdpi and mdpi so if you install the mdpi version on a hdpi device the controls will be at the very bottom of the screen

u have to scroll up the dock bar to see the menu. not like iphone where u have to scroll sideways from the homescreen

I cant find any kind of launcher settings (grid settings, and the apps in drawer should fit themselves in the screens... thats what i wished for the app) and the folder icons are very ugly
and there are only a few themes and all in japanese
