how can I delete the superuser app I downloaded the hack 4 netflix and it loaded the superuser app on my galaxy tab

I donĀ“t know what the netflix hack is, but when your tablet is rooted, you need SuperUser

uninstall???

bAndroid System Info (free from the android market) shows the superuser app and gives the option to uninstall it when you tap on it.rian best said:

yes i tryed that but the icon stays on my tab

You can flash back the stock rom and then reset back to factory. I mean that is if you are wanting to return it or sell it or something like that. Other than that if the uninstall does not remove it then I am not sure. Sorry I am not that much help but I got mine off my phone by reflashing the stock rom and factory resetting.

[Q] Root Question.....

I just rooted my Asus TF101 tablet with Brk's Root Toolkit v8.
It says I am now rooted, but is there any way to know for sure?
I have rooted my phone before & when I did that I was able to remove all the useless apps that came preinstalled, but on my Tablet it will not let me. I was thinking with root access I would be able to do this.
I am thinking of flashing to another ROM, but want to be sure this thing is rooted first.
Any insight is appreciated!!
Thx!!!
Do you have a SuperUser or SuperSU app installed?
I would open it and see what happens.
Also, I do not believe you can uninstall system apps JUST being rooted, you need an app like Titanium Backup to do the uninstalling. They still are not uninstallable in the Settings - Apps section just by rooting.
Alternatively, install a root explorer (or enable Root Explorer permissions in ES File Explorer) and see if you get prompted for root access without errors.

[Q] SuperSU update fails

I know there's a dedicated SuperSU thread but being a newbie on this forum I cannot post there.
I have Teclast P78HD tablet (A31 and Android 4.4.2) which I have rooted using Kingo. There is no custom recovery available for this model, AFAIK, so zip option is out of question I think. Kingo installed SuperSU 1.9.1 which does work, but as Play offered an update I accepted it, got 2.0.1. A big mistake.
The system still works, it prompts to grant root access when an app needs it. But I cannot run the SuperSU app anymore, it asks if I want to update. If I select yes after a while it fails and tells to reboot and try again. Which of course gives the same result. Selecting cancel closes the program. Uninstalling the update returns the system back to working 1.9.1. I have tried also Settings / Cleanup / Reinstall and Settings / Cleanup / Switch superuser app but both fail similarily. I also tried to replace the APK in /system/app using ES File Explorer but this method also makes an app to ask for update.
Any ideas how to update SuperSU on this tablet? Maybe I should just forget the problem and use the current one, but it is somewhat old and the changelog lists many, many changes. Plus Play keeps offering an update which is somewhat annoying

[Q] problem rooting

Hello, i have a gt-n8010 tablet and just updated it to 4.4.2, from 4.1.2 i had root, worked any method cwm or autoroot, but in this version cant make root work well, i use SuperSU as root app, i do this: (debugging is on)
1 install SuperSU through autoroot (using odin) it installs and everthing goes well, reboots and it says something about disabling knox i just hit yes
2 install pro and configure the SuperSU app,*
but at some point after using the app (granting root access), when i access the SuperSU interface it tells me that SuperSU has to update the "su" binary it asks me "normal" or "CWM", i hit normal as always because i didnt install CWM recovery, but this time fails installation and closes the app unlike version 4.1.2 wich didnt have any problem, and doesnt let me to access the app interface because it keeps telling me about updating binary, but when an app asks for root access it still asks me to grant it, and any app previously root granted stays granted.
the apps i use with root are: root explorer, root uninstaller, game killer, triangle away
wich seems strange is that root explorer, root uninstaller and triangle away once i grant root access they work fine, i can access root folders and modify them, uninstall system apps and even reset flash count, but game guardian, game killer and gamecih dont work as they should, they open well but cant use them to read memory and change any ingame value.
gamecih just never shows that has root access even if i granted it and doesnt respond to hotkey
game guardian opens and appears to work but when searching for a value shows 0 results everytime, every game
and game killer opens, but the message saying "Rooted" never shows and after like 20 seconds it closes and opens again in an infinite loop without letting me use it, it also doesnt respond to hotkey.
i have also tried the CWM recovery method and install SuperSU through recovery, it install without problem and just as previous method after some time of use it tells me that SuperSU has to update binary and fails installation and still cant use apps like game killer, i go back to CWM recovery and reinstall it, it reinstalls but this second time, it tells me something about disable recovery flash i just hit yes and after that it warns me about root access loss and ask me to fix it, wich i say yes, then i hit reboot now and everything goes well, but same problem, updating binary problem and no game killer type apps.
i have tried uninstalling every knox app, but still the same. i like to hack games rooting for anything else doesnt matter, any idea what can be causing this? and how to solve it?

Try to uninstall supersu (root uninstaller) and install via Google play, the same su update question will then be asked and click on normal just like you did before. The problem might be due to a old version of supersu from the flash.

I have already tried reinstall, first shows to work fine, when message that su binary has to update comes out and it installs correctlly, it just needs sometime after or a reboot for the app to ask me again about su binary update and fail installation, during the time it "installed correctlly" i still have the same problem losing root access with gamekiller type apps.
i have also tried full unroot from inside the app, then reflash SuperSU, and still have the problem even that is 2.02 version.
But have to say that i have root access already, i tried another su app, i installed CWM recovery then installed rom manager from Google play, then inside rom manager downloaded and installed Superuser and it worked and still does, all my apps that need root access work, dont know how or why, but they work. For obvious reasons i had to install SuperSU first then grant root access to rom manager then install the other su app and bingo!!, but for reasons i dont know, the SuperSU app was no where to be found, like if it was uninstalled, but thanks anyway

[Q] Help with Kingo Root

I tried to root my device "Infinix Hot" Which apparently has the same build as HTC devices using KingoRoot
5 min after i plugged my device to my pc and had usb debugging on and kingoroot installing drivers it displayed a message "Root success"
But i noticed that my device didn't reboot during the process , which goes against what i have read..........
So i rebooted it manually , and now i have an app called "KingoUser" that i can only disable but not uninstall even if i factory reset( I tried ) ....... But with no root access
I tried many root checking apps and they all displayed that i didn't have root access but i have SU installed
Can someone explain what is going on please?
And can someone please tell me if i can remove this "KingoUser"
Which doesn't appear to have any uses
When i open it all what's there is just a white page with only links to Kingo Websites

Try downloading ES file browser and enable root feature, see if you have root...
You never even get a toast notification from kinguser asking if you want to grant permissions??

I did try several apps from the playstore that require root access like titanium backup ...
And they just keep trying to ask for root access for sometime then display a message "Failed" without any reaction from the "KingoUser" App
Anyway ~ i tried another root program called Vroot ( Or iRoot ) and this time root actually worked and installed superuser that ask for root permission for each program ( Allow of deny dialogue ) And titanium backup has root access now
But the app called "KingoUser" Cant be uninstalled even after doing several factory reset ( Without loosing root status )
I currently have it disabled but i want to permanently remove it cuz it's useless
One more think , i disabled the "superuser" app that automatically installed after the root process and installed the newer version from the play store that works perfectly and it updated my su binary it seems
So is it safe for me to completely remove the outdated superuser app the came with iRoot ? ( Cuz it wont update by itself and i cant find and option to update ) ? And how do i remove it ( Same problem with "KingoUser" )

yeh it's safe to remove, go with any root file explorer to system/app and delete it!
You may also try first freezing that app and then uninstalling it

How did you go about replacing it with SuperSU?
first of all have rooted with "kingroot 5.0" version and with that i replacing didnt worked and then i have unrooted and rooted with "4.9 version" and replaced by "supersume" . And i have also replaced using "replace kinguse with supersu.zip" file using terminal emulator
and second method is i have rooted with "kingoroot" and there i got the "superuser" and that superuser didnt open and that too the superuser didnt installed in system ,its installed in internal memory . so i have just uninstalled the superuser and installed supersu app form play store and when i am opening the supersu its not opening ,just stuck at the blank screen

If you removed the superuser before you installed SuperSU from play store then you've lost root, you should have left superuser installed then install SuperSU, then remove superuser after getting SuperSU installed, that way you keep root.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
after uninstalling the superuser my root doesnt gone ,but its still there with any root authorisation app just i am using normally without need to grant or denying .
it will be automatically grant to each and every app on my phone with full permissions

Follow these steps.
1. Root using KINGROOT 4.8.1 or lower (not kingoroot)
2. Reboot device and confirm that it is in fact rooted.
3. Install and run SuperSu-Me
4. Wait until the process is completed.
5. Reboot again
The problem is not rooting
It's with the SuperSU , is not opening
But still I have tried but same prob, the super su will showing blank screen
At first opening after rooting or replacing with super su it's opening when after that is not opening from second time
I have also flashed the stock firmware and did again, still the same prob
