I like Samba...plus, it is always free:

Hmm, I've been using ASTRO for this and it works pretty well. But I'm going to download this and give it a shot.

Alright, been using it a little bit now and it's actually pretty cool, considerably quicker than using ASTRO's wifi. I'm definitely going to keep using this.
downloaded as well
to bad google don't do a free paid app a day
Does this app seems to be running all the time?
Downloaded it before this thread was made.. fantastic app!
I also highly recommend the Amazon Free App Notifier. It's 99c but well worth every penny for the free apps it reminds you about.

Why would you pay 99 cents for an app that reminds you to check the Amazon app store daily? If you are that forgetful just put a shortcut on your home screen. Lol

It's a pretty nice clean reminder in the status bar, shows name, info, normal price, and so on. You can set what time of day it reminds you, too.
My homescreens are completely minimal with no app shortcuts, so I wouldn't be able to tolerate looking at an ugly icon

Here's a thread to list your 1 favorite app. Figured it will help people learn whats out there and what the apps do. Don't just post the name of it! Post everything about it, what it does, where you got it, how much it was and anything else related to it(bugs/glitches). If people contribute to this I will add the apps to list in this post.
Here's an example.

Not Affiliated, just saw this on Slickdeals.net:
SwiftkeyX [getjar.com]
These are all the free apps [getjar.com]
But please note that this requires the Getjar application. (which I believe you can uninstall after you get the apps you want!)

Interested, but a bit leary. There's gotta be a catch. Anyone have experience with getjar?

I tried it out, yeah you have to DL their getjar app. However you can uninstall it afterwards.
You can't download the apps for free from the market at a later time, though, if you uninstall them. IDK, this is just what I've observed
Getjar has been around quite a while. I used apps/games from there on my old Nextel phones and feature phones using java. Its probably setup the way Amazon does their app market.

I read about this app at Android Central, and I wanted to give it a try. When I tried to install it from the Android Market, supposedly the app is not compatible with the Sensation. I searched a little bit more and found a direct link for "unsupported devices", I downloaded the apk and installed the app and it is working.
Here is the link: http://www.ionroad.com/download-ionroad
Enjoy
Very usefull app
wish everyone had this lol cool app thanx
great
Great app thanks for this
Site is gone when I click the link.
Just download it from the market. It is already listed as compatible with the sensation.

Interesting concept.
Cool app but the thing kept making my phone reboot. LOL. I had to uninstall. Sux cuz I just racked up some points the first day lol...
This app is a good idea but seems kinda contradicting don't ya think? If you were watching the road instead of your phone you wouldn't need this app anyway lol.
I cant say much, I text and drive practically everyday..
Great app thanks for this
looks like a good idea.
i will give it a try
The phone runs really hot when this app is left running.

Are you in the US? That may be the reason.
To those of you who use and like this app, what car mount are you using?
Also, does your car mount let you keep your phone in it's case?
just FYI for anyone who didn't notice. Android Market is celebrating 10 billion downloads by offering 10 apps for 10 cents each for 10 days. It's actually been going on for a couple of days already, but there is still a bunch of days left to scoop up some deals.
Apps change every day as well.

Kinda late to respond to this, but you can buy VISA gift cards from a lot of pharmacies and stuff. That works as a debit card.
I used to do that when I wanted to pay for something online when I was younger.
Thanks for heads up regarding Android Market special.
not sure if the applications are legal or if this actually piracy, if it is then close the thread if it isn't feel free to help me with this
So everybody knows that there are many mp3 downloading apps in the market but I am looking for the best one.
one that has fast multi-downloading.
good and human-friendly interface.
hopefully free? if there is a paid app ill look into it, maybe if I am satisfied with the results ill buy it.
Again, excuse me if this is warez... its just bit different than cracking a paid app..
