Can someone plz tell me what to do or how to fix this I've tried changing to other accounts on the market and then signing into google talk but it will say sign in failed and when I try to download apps it will be stuck on starting download or it will pop saying something like unable to download but I can download apk files just not from the market. Plz help

Did you recently run the ultimate unbrick or flash a ROM?
Wipe data.
I had that issue after using the ultimate unbrick.

Factory data reset and you'll be good to go.
Don't forget that your internal SD card will be formatted so move anything you don't want to lose to your external SD card.
Samething happened to me yesterday after using unbrick. Factory reset worked

Last time I did a factory reset through rom manager it didn't delete my internal it just deleted data and all system stuff

You want to do a reset thru settings/privacy on your phone. If you do this you will lose everything on your phone besides root. This is what I did and its been working fine.

Apps are neither downloading nor installing from market.... The bar keeps going forever.... Same problem with amazon app store. Here, they are downloading but not getting installed..... But if I restart the phone twice and try again, 3-4 apps will get installed. Again same story repeats... Does anyone have the same problem?

I had this problem on stock.
To fix it, I went to settings > Apps then I uninstalled the market update (if any) and cleared the cache.
Reboot and try again. Its very frustrating lol.

If that doesn't work, going to Setting -> Applications -> Application Manager and clear data for all the Google programs (don't forget about Talk) and then rebooting the phone fixed it for me. Good luck.

i had thos exact same issue. i just installed the rom again.
Unistalled the market update..... Apps are installing now... But the market got updated to the new version automatically..... Now should wait and see if apps again will have a problem installing.... Thanks for the help though.... Cache seems to be the problem.....

I ran in to this problem. You need to go through the Ultimate Unbrick and then boot into recovery by holding down both volume buttons, then pressing the power button. Then wipe all user data and then do the cache. After that you should be ok.

There are several apps that clear them all together. I use Quick App Manager. It worked without root on my Inspire. Or if you're rooted, there are several others that will probably work or you could also boot into recovery and wipe cache from there.
My phone has been completely f'ed all day. So far ive restored 2 times. Ive tried to start all over by downloading infused than installing gb rom (the order in which i did it the first time) but when i go to the gtg section i get a pop up saying contact dev. I than used the roms from my sd card. I flashed infused 1.x.x, it flashed fine but all of atts crap apps were still there. Next i removed voodoo folder and flashed gb rom, that flashed fine, seemed anyway. When my phone rebooted i thought it was all set besides the fact i had no notification pull down and no status tools up top, att apps still present. I did the updated gb non rainbows update when it came out but that wasnt what i just flashed and i have no idea where its at. Im lost and pissed.

This is one reason I don't use ROM Manager - I keep multiple backups of anything that might be important.
Cool, as far as my other issues go with flashing, should i download new roms when the link is up? Not sure why the ones on my sd are so messed up

I just read a post a few pages back.on the dev section where someone had a similar issue. But no i didnt, i never had the option. I booted into recovery and selected rom from my sd card, it did its deal than i selected reboot. Other times ive flashed i recieved a pop up asking if i want to wipe data and such, i didnt get that message.

Nash if u boot in to recovery it doesnt prompt u to wipe dalvik and cache you have to volume rocker down to them wipe both then install the rom. If you download from romanager you get promted and the option to wipe!

It would have helped if I still had roms on my sdcard. After using the unbrick tool a few other things wernt working (app download and gtalk) so I made myself do a system restore...lost everything. Now I'm at the mercy of the devs. Can't wait for the links to be up.

There is a link for an experimental version in the thread search for it.
I used the ultimate unbrick and went back to stock and now everytime i try and dl anything from market i get an error saying it cant dl due to an error.. any ideas?

Yes factory reset your phone it'll fix it but wipes your SD card

Is there a way to recover photos that have been deleted after a reset? My niece had her phone stolen but got it back and it had been reset so all was wiped. Can astro be used to recover photos?

Get photorec free no issues works great Google it download it and use it on ur pc should find your stuff on the phone if it doesn't you can still pull them off SD card
If you need help let me know . As long as you didnt copy anything to the SD card recently all the files should be able to be saved.

Easy to use and can't mess up
. You may find all sorts of stuff . Tool comes in handy to make sure if you sell a used SD card to make sure you formated ur card so you can't pull any old deleted photos.

just went back to stock ICS but on CWM and rooted of course but is there anyway to have the play store auto download apps like i do when I flash a new rom?
Auto download updates of apps is a playstore feature u just have to open playsore and go into settings. Does not matter if ur on stock or a rom

If its for reinstalling the apps u had no most use third party apps like tibu, though if u go to my apps in the play store and slide over u can see all the apps u have downloaded before

I believe if u factory reset within the settings and reboot once u get the welcome screen to set up ur fone once u log into ur gmail acct u get the option to keep keep ur apps back up to the device if its checked ur apps will start downloading automatically. Worked for me everytime

yeah didnt work for me. Works on other roms with no issues but on stock ICS for me I flashed back using odin rooted added in recovery factory reset and booted up asked me the usual stuff and then I waited. Nothing ever happened fixed permissions using ROM manager and nothing rebooted factory reset again and once again nothing. Ug wish it was more consistent

you only have to log into your google accounts once. One log in and everything else works. At least thats how its always been. Even on other roms I just log in on first boot and connect to wifi and watch the downloads
This has only ever happened to me a few times and its when I'm on a ROM like aokp/cm.

happened to me... but all i did was factory reset. also, I have 4 gmail accounts... I have to log in the 3 others to download the apps from those accounts.
