[Q] Unlocked bootloader to use fastboot commands?

Do we need an unlocked bootloader to use fastboot commands or S-OFF with locked bootloader does it?

[Q] HTC ChaCha relocked and can't unlock again

Hi, a newbie here and I hope someone can help me.
Htc cha cha.
Used HtcDev Unlock methode to unlock phone but somehow it relocked
I am trying to unlock again as htcdev says by when I put in the command "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" it comes up with <waiting for device>.
I think my pc is not connecting to the chacha for it to receive the command. I tried to reinstall HBoot but I don't think you can after you unlock.
Please advise, I hope there is something I can do to unlock.

Did you boot into fastboot (Bootloader) when you ran the "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" command?

Fastboot oem problem

After i have done the fast oem unlcok it unlocks, but when im trying to do ADB reboot bootloader it sais, device not found

Because you are issuing a adb command while in fastboot.
There is a reason the command to unlock is fastboot oem unlock and not adb oem unlock bootloader

FRP unlock

Is there any way to unlock frp from the fastboot if the bootloader is unlocked and the device is bricked.
Already tried : fastboot oem relock xxxxx
Returns : command not allowed
I am on stock recovery and the device is bricked right now.

You don't need your unlock code to do this. Enter fastboot and issue the fallowing commands:
Fastboot oem lock
Or
Fastboot oem relock
Or
Fastboot flashing lock
Don't need to do all of these. Start with the first one.
