Maybe you should check the filters in the settings of the Android Market : see if you allow the market to display all the applications.
i have that problem too. I am on official Cincinnati 2.2 ROM. Missing apps include appbrain, shazam, zedge, ebuddy xms just to name a few. They nvr show up in the search results. I used my mum's samsung and hers can see them fine. Filter setting has been set to ALL.
Any clues any1?
There's an app for that. There's an app that "unlocks" or "un-hides" those apps.

i tried that and yea, i put it on mature and some of the apps are showen now, but some others like androidpc are still missing =/ whats the name of the app that makes you unlock all apps? thanks
i resolved the issue by changing the build.prop and a couple files. follow the guide here..

I'm looking for a .apk Manager.
Not for one on my phone, or to organize the apps on my phone.
What I'm looking for is a Windows application, Win7 64bit compatible, that will organize my 4.7gb worth of .apk's i have on my computer. Ideally, automatically detecting version numbers, and removing old versions of the same app etc.
Good idea, I just use appbrain on my phone.

The original facebook for android app took you to the touch site, but this one keeps taking me to the full site, and it doesn't work for my phone. Any help would be appreciated?

same here... it's messed. now i have to keep a friggin bookmark of the mobile app for when i want to look at my notifications...
and this version doesn't notify me when someone comments on my status or when someone comments on another status they i commented on....

i noticed that if you have your browser settings set to show Mobile View, the full facebook site won't show wall posts amongst other things...

Mine is still set at android, I tried restoring to default awhile back thinking maybe I accidently changed something but that didn't work either
Im sure there will be another update out soon to fix these issues. They have been quick to fix lately. No more contact sync options either, on my phone at least. Almost feels like a broken app on my phone right now.

Need to hide app icon in notification bar, its truly annoying.

Seems to work pretty good. I like the ease. It does appear to be on all the time though but I've not seen a significant battery drop to warrant removing it. Really wish they would have opened the beta up for more people, I hated just downloading it but not being able to participate in bug posting.
Actually you can participate, Maybe not bugs, but fatal errors that cause the app to crash you can send email logs of when the app crashed directly to them. After the app has a force close it will ask you if you want to send the log when the app crashed to them by e-mail.

You have to rename the file to change it to .apk file. (at the moment it's named BejiveIM.apk.zip)
If you have file extensions hidden then unhide them and remove the .zip and save.
I was getting a "Timedout" and then "no client key" yesterday but the app started to work again late last night. I'm not too sure I like the size of the icon like others have said, but I do like its the most stable out of the clients I've tried without draining my battery.... much.

Agree! Reason I uninstalled after a few hours. Besides that the app icon seems larger than any of the others I have. But not being able to disable the icon in the notification bar is extremely annoying!!

Hi, Thanks for posting this. I used to use it on my Berry all the time . . . I installed it from your link & imo it's the best IM client out there so far & still Beta lol! The feature that lets you email the conversation or post to twitter is sic ;-)

If you go into details I "might" be able to help you. But "it didn't work" has "I don't want to ask for help anyways" written all over it...
'Worked' as far as I can see, without having anyone to test it with. I get the option to enable voice and video calls when changing my status, and 'voice call' appears as an option when talking to a contact.

Great The only thing I still have to try if video is sent from one Android-Talk App to another... It doesn't work for the desktop at the moment and it doesn't work for the front camera... that's probably why Google just rolled it out for the Nexus S... I hope they'll fix that soon!

It only works with 2.3.3 and up (not with Froyo AFAIK) ^^ So give it a shot!

Uhm, I don't know if it is that bad... It is just not that good The honeycomb version is of course way better
Hey OP here is a link to Xilard's post with the apk that has front facing camera fix and no wifi. I tested the front cam and it works. Please update your guide with this link.

I know i appologize for the short rude, it didnt work, statement.
I placed said lib in correct-is it replacing something or just drop it in?
Backed up old g app and moved at to external sd, then cleared data.
Uninstalled old app, and installed new app.
Nothing seemed to change for me, no voice or video options. Video option greyed out.

Try the new link, it contains the update zip with a patched version
under your status you find something like "allow videocalls" try to enable that

Works on OC 2.0RC1. Front cam and voice, but FC's everytime I switch front to back cam...anyone else experiencing this...
Anyone have any idea why I can't get write permission on the system folders? I'm using file expert with superuser access, but for some reason it just won't let me change access permissions on the system folders.
*update* nevermind. Installed root explorer and it worked much better.

Im having problems with audio and video chat, the problem is i dont have any option to initiate audio/video chats?
I have selected allow video and voice chats but i dont know how to make them, only text chats.
I can recieve video and audio but i cant send any.
Also switching camera's force closes the app.
Any help?
i followed the instructions to the dot but had a little prob every thing works on my end perfect i can see the person and my front facing camera works as well but the other person can not see me i havent tried it with tablet to tablet i only have tried it with tab to pc.... any sugestion that could help me or should i just leave it alone up untill some thing new comes out its an att tab which i have rooted and updated the fermware on it to the europian version

When you click a link regardless of mobile or non mobile version YouTube links, do you go into the browser or into the YouTube app on your One X? I can't seem to get the darn thing to open in YouTube, at all..

Try going into settings app youtube and clear defults. Then click on a link and it should give you a option to use the youtube app and make it the defult.

Doesn't work, I even uninstalled YouTube and re-installed it. I wonder if it has anything to do with "app selections" within settings. Cant change anything there either.

I may be spoiled from iPhone but I would much rather it open the youtube app instead of the browser.
Also doesn't open other http links in apps. Like Foursquare or Market.
Is this a thing with all Sense ROMs?

If links are opening in the Browser by default, you don't want to clear the YouTube defaults, you want to clear the "Internet" defaults. Try that folks. My youtube links (at least so far) always ask me what to open them in, and I don't have a problem going into the youtube app with them.
Having same issue. Must be this phone specific. Because I didn't have this problem with my old HTC Inspire

This might mean it's an AT&T ROM issue. Which relieves me that it is a bug and not a "feature" of sense 4.
Also my "internet" has no defaults and even clearing Chrome defaults me back to Chrome when I use Chrome to Phone to send a YT link.
edit: It seems to go through an "HTCLinkifyDispatcher", is there a difference between these in craig0r's rom and ours?

When I go to Settings -> Apps -> All, I don't even see this app. So yeah, I'm guessing there's a glaring difference! Weird, more crap AT&T is imposing, perhaps?

Thanks, that would have been a aggravated waist of time (for the attempt to fix the link issue at least)
I tried freezing htclinky whatever its called with TiBu and links in emails and in forum runner refused to open.
Same, even Chrome to Phone doesn't work.
I fixed this by disabling the stock browser in TiBU, but you will need to root your device. Links open in Chrome and YouTube apps now.
