So I installed flash player update 10.3 last month on froyo. Made videos choppy or lock up in browser. I uninstalled.
I updated to Ginger bread, then tried to install flash 10.3 again hoping it would work better now, still choppy and broken.
Anyone else?
Same here, try adobe air, worked a lot better for

No matter what I do I cannot get this to work.
FreshEvo ROM 4.0.0.4
Flash 10.3 (was 10.1 originally)
Everything starts up just fine, I can browse everything just fine. Any movie i try loads up the buffering , then kicks back to the main screen.
Tried updating 10.3 , unistall reinstall Netflix. Rebooting. Nothing works.
Fml.
Yes! Finally! I love you Netflix! They did the near impossible, made the Evo better
So I just installed the latest CM7 non-nightly
Works perfect.
Will not work for crap on FreshRom

As opposed to aosp being official? Cm7, salvagemod. Both work with Netflix fine. Might just be the leak rom is simply missing something.

I was running Azrael 4.0, and I kept getting the "Make sure your date and time is current" error that some are reporting. I flashed back to stock rom (very first backup right after rooting), and am still getting that error - so I don't think it's ROM related.
I am still on Flash 10.1 and I see its at 10.3 now. Maybe I'll try updating that and see if it changes anything.
Bottle of Beast...
Finally
The real deal.
Yes late, but better than never.
Works good on stock, better on mikfroyo 4.6.1
Watched Kick Ass on wi-fi, great quality.
Watching Cheers on 3g with 1-3 bar (blocky as hell) but no buffering, thank god!
Good luck to all with custom roms!!!

Of course. Newer versions of Android are backwards compatible. APK's are like any other executable. If you had a file working on Windows Vista, there's a 95% chance it works on Windows7, baring some sort of deprecation.
Yeah but was running on mosaic 3 & it wouldnt even install

Anyone else having problems with Adobe Flash 11 videos playing all distorted? When I go to youtube or any site with flash videos they appear with green lines and just blurry incomprehensible video while the audio plays fine. This has been happening for awhile, but usually resizing the screen or going from full screen back to "in-browser" would fix the issue but that seemed to stop working. I even tried uninstalling Adobe Flash and re-installing but that didnt help either.
Running Cyanogenmod, not sure if that makes a difference.
Same problem here, but try using different browsers will help.
I got that on cm7 but stock it works fine.

This is a current issue with all CM7 based ROMs. There are a couple of bugs filed on the issue tracker for both the p999 and p990... Vote for them so we can get a fix.

I was able to correct this issue by downgrading from Adobe Flash 11.1 down to 10.3, not a perfect solution of course but better than distorted video.
It seems (from what I can tell) that this issue is related to hardware acceleration in 11.1, because 10.3 uses software acceleration and works just fine.
The version I installed is located in this thread (Flash 10.3 + Hulu_8.apk):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010606
My Configuration:
P999DW
CM7 NIGHTLY 20130301
Mazout GB Kernel (Overclockable) 2.6.32.60
Baseband v21y
Adobe Flash 10.3 w/Hulu_8 Patch
Ever since I rooted my phone I've been getting flash videos issues like I hear the video but no video is showing the only rom that it seems to work fine are the sense roms but I don't like those right now I'm running 255 nightly cm7.
Does anybody have any idea why I might be getting this???

Make sure your Adobe Flash Player is updated to the currnet version. I believe the most current is 11.
First forcestop the Browser. Then using a root file explorer go into /data/data/com.android.browser/app_plugins/com.adobe.flash player/.macro media/Flash_Player/ and locate the config.data file and remove all permissions.
Just updated to 4.1 Jellybean and now Chrome will not display any flash content (used to on 4.0). BUT, If I use the built in 'Browser', it DOES display flash content, so obviously flash player still works.
Is this a google thing? I wouldn't have thought so, as I'd expect them to nobble it on the internal browser too, but you never know.
I can no longer download it from the play store, so I updated to .17 available from this thread, but still no dice with Chrome.
If its a Chrome/Google thing, any suggestions on an alternative browser? I tried Firefox a whilst back and it seemed bloated and slow.

Have you tried Dolphin Browser HD? I've read somewhere that you can do it with Dolphin Browser but you may have to do something else other than just download the app and have flash installed. Never needed it so sorry I can't help more.
Chrome in its current version does not support Flash in any Android version. I was however able to get Dolphin HD to support Flash and retain pinch zooming by using this method. Good luck.
