Google Music not streaming properly - Motorola Triumph

Does anyone else have a problem streaming music with google music? This was never a problem on my optimus v but my T seems to have a hard time doing it. I even had full bars yesterday and it was barely sputtering out any music.
Is this an issue that would warrant an exchange?

i cant get set up to even stream... dunno why but my T isn't connected or connecting to Google music.. any help?

ive been messing around with it and it seems my problem was juice defender. When i disable it is seems to work better.

Works fine for me. It did stop once, but I hardly call that an issue

Bluetooth since 2.3

Since the update, my Inspire locks up upon first use after connecting to my car. Reboots, then its ok. Anyone else experience anything like this and have any tips to correct it?
stupid thanks button.....
i havent had any problems with 2.3 and bluetooth. mine doesnt lock up when it connects to my car
Same
I have to force stop the Music app (poweramp). tried factory reset but no real difference. Also on the sony mex bt3800 I have, it will display icons for streaming and calls, well sometimes (of course) only one of those will turn on. Re-paired still doing it. grrrr.

I have the Mex-bt2800. You can turn the music streaming on by pressing the pause/play button when it's it bluetooth audio mode.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using the power of the dark side
Yeah, you'd like to think so, hit the arrow for play on poweramp right?
Well not quite as, if you start the car first then switch bluetooth on (you know powersaving) the message will display that the headset connected message then on the stereo , mostly, only the icon for media streaming will appear and the only reliable way to have both streaming and calls is to switch off bluetooth on the car stereo then switching it on again.
Froyo connected all time without issue and so did the 3GS i had previously.
The poweramp issue came about if you already had music playing through the internal speaker, started bluetooth, (you get the streaming media Icon on stereo) , then there would be no sound and poweramp would act if it had paused but no other button would work until it had been force stop. have only found time for a liittle bit of testing so can't tell much more about symptoms.
any other suggestions welcome

Still stock. Might root and see if those other roms make a difference. Saw comment on ace root kit thread about something new coming out on that so may put up it until what ever it is announced. Be nice to get rid of the att bloat too.

Bluetooth streaming to car stereo

Im using my Nexus 5 to stream Google Play Music (all access) to my Jaguar XF (Meridian system).
I can connect fine, and music streams, but i get the odd 'drop' that lasts for a second or less. There doesnt seem to be a pattern to it. It happens on locally stored music as well as 'streamed' so i dont think its a 'cloud' issue.
Anyone seen anything similar ? i am trying to see if it happens when an email comes in, or an SMS, or some similar issue but i cant spot anything.
Unsure therefore whether its a Nexus 5 hardware issue ? an app issue ? a bluetooth issue ? a Jaguar issue ?

I experience the same thing from time to time. When I first researched the problem, I read that Google Play Music, for some reason, uses a data connection even when playing tracks that are on the device. I then saw that the hiccups occurred only during times when the signal was weak or changing bands. Have you noticed what kind of connection you have when the skipping occurs?
You should trying using another music player. I noticed that skipping issue on GPM on all my car and trucks. I use Power Amp and i have no issues, but i guess if you are streaming directly from GPM thats your only option.
Most definitely happening from streaming instead of playing from the sd card. Even then you have to force the phone to use from Device Only as leaving All Music chosen will still try to stream music you already have on the phone. And even further still if you decide to try to do a random playback list you can't go into the queue and chose a song without being connected to data. It's completely stupid. Not really sure what you could do though seeing as you use the All Access service.
Thanks both.
I will try another player to test the theory. it would be a shame if its GPM as I got the £7.99 deal and Im very impressed with it to be honest. particularly as i subscribed on a shared account to wife and kids all get access too
I've never had this happen with my N5 while streaming BT audio using Google Play Music, but I only play On Device music so no data connection is required for me....

I've only noticed this when I receive some sort of notification and I don't have the device on Silent/Vibrate. But I have noticed that when occasionally streaming that the quality/sound drops and then picks right back up. I'm sure that will have to do with me driving around and it relying on network.

Bluetooth stuttering while charging wireless.

Hi,
Ive installed the Nexus wireless charging pad, in my car. It charges and works fine, but when I play spotify the music stutters all the time. Might get 3-4 min of clean music, but then it goes back to stuttering. I tought at first it might be because of low signal to the 4g network. Ive checked with full signal strenght and it still stutters. Tomtom even stutters when I use it with voice directions, and that app is offline.
Anyone got similar problems, or know how to fix it?
Cheers!

Google Music issues (I THINK this is a One issue)

I remember reading a while back that Google Music had added gapless playback support, but it's not working for me (either on my phone or computer, actually). All the digging I've done says if you enable the equalizer it will be fixed, but I can't figure out how to do that at all. Can anyone tell me?

It's also started playing music when it connects to my car stereo much less reliably. I used to get in and a few seconds later I was streaming music. Now, BT connects and a lot of the time it never plays a song at all, other times it will automatically take one but take as long as 5 minutes, and occasionally it will immediately start playing. What's going on here and how do I make it work the way it should?

music keeps pausing

Hi,
I have a LG G Flex 2 and since a few days the audio keeps pausing at random moments. I listen to a lot of music on my phone and this is really annoying.
It seems to be happening at random moments but sometimes it just pauses right after i have told it to un-pause. I have logged out of my google account and back in again but this did not solve the problem.
It is happening with Google Play Music, Spotify (those are the only two media players i use) and sometimes also with online video's.
Anyone has a solutions for this problem? I would hate to have to put my phone back to factory settings.
I'm running android 5.1.1 (rooted) software version V15c-EUR-XX
Are you streaming all of your music?
If that's the case I'd say it's a buffering issue and the best solution to that would be to download your music and store it on an external sd.

i'm streaming some of it but the most music i have on google play is saved on my phone
Same issue
Hey! Thanks for starting this thread. I have the H955 and I have been having this issue as well, with Spotify. It does not matter if I play downloaded or streamed content, the player randomly pauses all the time. I am on MM unrooted.
Update: I also eliminated a lose connection, used the auction on my music system to play music and it stops as well. Also tried a new pair of headphones and I am having the same issue.
Cheers!
