Could you explain how did you change app drawer icon, simply by decompiling home.apk or does it involve editing .xml files as well?

Here is Galaxy Tab custom dialer and contacts.
I'm still working on it, but if you want to try it here is what you need to do:
1.Backup your original Contacts.apk, in case you want to go back to original one.
2.Download the attached file.
3.Replace it in /system/app using Root Explorer.
4.Set the permission like the last attached picture.
5.Reboot.
That's it, I hope you like it, if you do just hit the thanks button.
*Do the steps for phone.apk as well.*
Change Log:
The search result white font on white backgroud is fixed.
Changed some images in Phone.apk, including incoming call background.
White letters on white background
in the phone tab iff you add favorites ther name are invisible on the white background.

I'm not sure which tab your are talking about, because when I add favorites
the contacts font is black.
Edit: If you mean the search result, The color is fixed.

This is the the original dialer with diffrent images. If the original one works,

You don't need a rooted device to use this dialer but in order to replace the files
into your /system/app, you need to use an app like Root Explorer which needs a

This theme includes:
*window animations
*fonts
*CRT screen off animation
*green transparent drop down menu
*battery icon
*transparent pop-ups
*icons
Unzip and move fonts to /system/fonts, systemui to /system/app. framework to /system/framework. Reboot. Make backups of the original files in case something goes wrong. You could also take the framework file from my crt animation thread and use it in the uot kitchen to make your own themes. Enjoy!
Back up your data and apps before doing this. In the case of continuous force closes, most can be resolved by rebooting into recovery and doing a wipe.

I know GO Launcher would allow the icon to be changed, I'm sure ADW does too. Not sure about renaming though.

Yeah, I just use Sense so don't have that option
I Was Playing Around With Some Apps , so i did not like the whats app Dark Green Color , so i wanted to change it to match my other MD apps,so i only changed the theme of the official Whats App. This Is not an WhatsApp plus or kind of a thing.
