I have integrated facebook contacts with People using SNS feature.
Now the problems is that the images that are imported to the phone through facebook are too small.
When anyone calls the picture appears to be very stretched. Is there any method to retrieve the whole pic from facebook or images that can be seen decent if anyone calls.

SNS ? I had this problem when i linked contacts to FaceBook accounts. What you need to do is link them to FaceBook for htc sense accounts.

Totally agree.
I use Facebook for Sense and not Facebook account type, as this is incorporated into Sense.
I also only use the m.facebook.com website for facebook access as that way you can enforce a https connection. The Facebook application isn't yet secure.
You can simply remove your Facebook application from Settings->Account & Sync by removing the account and then re-add a Facebook for Sense account.
This will then re-sync your contacts and you should get to re-link those that it finds and matches for you.
The images that it pulls from Facebook should be high resolution, there is a problem with Google contacts images, where even if you upload high res you only get low res after a re-sync....but fortunately if you a linked facebook for sense contact that account picture will be used instead.

Has anyone been able to get their facebook contacts to link to their gmail contacts?
I had used a app called "SyncMyPix" on my Droid and it grabbed all my facebook contacts and sync'ed them to the matched google contact. The pictures were now part of google contacts and synced back to their "cloud" so my contacts have the picture they were using at that sync time as part of their contact info.
So browsing my contacts on the web, sync'ed down to my Gtab.........I have pictures for my contacts.
You could possibly try just running that app on the Gtab and see if it would work. I would suspect it would. You have to log in to facebook via the app and tell it to sync.

Yeap worked just like I wanted it to for the most part thanks a lot!
Has anyone found a way to sync contacts's pictures and birthdays from facebook like we used to do on the htc contacts tab ? The roms i was using on my HD2, had the option to link a contact with its facebook profile, and automatically update pictures and stuff.

install full screen called ID. it has a sync facebook option. that's how i've done it.
Download the Facebook app and set it to sync contacts. Most of them should be joined automatically to your existing contacts where the names are the same, and you can manually join the rest from the menu when you're editing a contact.
Pro tip: join from the entry you want to take precedence for name display purposes.
Allright both are acceptable solutions.
But what if i install another rom ? Do i have to do that again or i will have the photos as soon as i sync my fb and my gmail ?

login to your FB account from the app u downloaded. Go into the options menu and sync FB contacts.
I used syncmypix and the **** still doesn't fix the blurry facebook photos that I have. Wtf do I have to do to fix this problem that's plagued all of android?
It's pretty much been a known issue since Android came into existence. Those crappy blurry pictures aren't because of your Android, but Google. You set up your Google account and it's set to sync your contacts. For whatever reason, Google has decided to rescale your pictures.
No matter what apps you use to sync your pictures e.g. syncmypix etc, when comes to your phone syncing with Google, it's gonna pull down those blurry pictures again.
In short: Go to Settings>Accounts & Sync>Google and uncheck Contacts. Then you can set any picture manually/use your pic syncing app.
Sync your contacts with "Facebook For HTC Sense" not "Facebook"
FB for HTC Sense is also blurry, was fixed with the Desire but it's broken again
Apparently pics are blurry using exchange too, if you add the images to the contacts in outlook.
The solution with that is to add the images to the contact on the phone, it then saves it with the contact in outlook so should you move phones it still uses the unmodified image.
Wondering if that info's of any use.
As you all know the nightmare of the BIG contacts list that appears when you hit "Phone" on the home screen which is due to grabbing both, the Contacts and Facebook friends...
And it is just not so handy to disable Facebook sync at all because you want the pictures, the link between existing contacts and Facebook contacts..
And if you tried to disable the "Sync Contacts" feature from Facebook for HTC account... It works... but just till your next restart of the phone, if you switched it off and back on... Bamm!... the Tick for "Sync Contacts" is back on again and you will soon have the big long list again :S
So is there any script or something that runs on startup to force disable the "Sync Contacts" feature??
Tried to post it on the development section but I wasn't allowed because I'm a new member.. If anyone could post as a request, to develop the script if possible.. I think it will be the end of this nightmare..

This is a question and therefore should be posted here in Q&A not Development section, that's why that rule is there....(thankfully).
If you only sync Facebook contacts where they exist in actual contacts...you don't such a big list to start with.
Or setup a favorite contacts group within your main contacts they will then appear first, along with the recently contacted people, so shouldn't be a problem. (ah I've just realised that this could well be a Sense 3.5 only feature....in which case time to unlock, root and flash some Sense 3.5 ROMS).
Plus the Phone is enabled for Smart dialing which permits you to whittle the contact list down in no time.
The thing with flashing other roms is the arabic support, I read it is not fully supported. I still can't understand why. I bought my phone from egypt and it has excellent arabic support..
Can't they just extract whatever from it and integrate it to their roms!
Anyway, About syncing only with existing contacts... When I updated the Facebook app, I was left with two accounts in the "Accounts & Sync"
1. Facebook for HTC (Old): Sync contacts, Sync live feeds
2. Facebook (New): Sync contacts, (Sync live feeds is missing from this account so the old account is necessary for any widget with a Facebook stream)

I can't comment on Arabic support as I don't use it myself, it might be worth inquiring within the custom ROM thread that you consider using to see what the current users say, some might be using Arabic support.
When I was on Sense 2/3 (ie not 3.5) I only ever used the account type Facebook for HTC Sense and I avoided the un-secure HTTP facebook application, I used the secure HTTPS m.facebook.com website to access facebook.
In sense 3.5 there is only one Facebook account type and all is easier.
Is it possible so sync facebook pictures to my contacts directly so that it is saved on the contact instead of only displaying the facebook photo within sense?
So for example, if I saw my contact inside of gmail on my computer, it would have the facebook photo.
