I have been using my sensation since 3 months now...but now i am having 2 serious problems recently...i even did factory reset many times but no help...
1. Whenever i try to call any contact from the dialer or people application,i tap the contact to call, but the phone take 1-2 minutes to call...its very very annoying...this problem starts aftr 1-2 days aftr the reset...
2. In the message application, whenever i try to enter text...it dont show up untill i close and open the keyboard 3-4 times...
Please help le to get rid of these problems...thanks

Well the first could be the network it self, are you on t-mobile? this happens to my phone and my 3 sisters who have t-mobile when were at my moms house, they have other phones but its the same issue. However that's the only place it happens to me. As for the second problem I don't know never had that issue

Mine is unbranded...and never have this issue with other phones...network is full...and even i tried other networks on this phone...but no results...

Has anyone noticed the ringtone volume is very low when connected to WiFi? I've tested with and without WiFi multiple times and it seems to be very low whenever connected.

I haven't but I have noticed when I'm using WiFi calling I get worse call quality. I know its a WiFi quality/speed thing though.

Yea I noticed that too. Sometimes I have to disconnect the call and turn off WiFi calling to make a call..

That would be the only way we have these phones already. Or unless you robbed a T-mobile employee lol. On another note, I do have this same problem as well. I thought I was just going crazy the first couple times it happened.

i have the same problem with ringer volume on WiFi. An update was pushed to my store demo last night during the refresh. I don't know what it was for but maybe it fixes this issue.
UPDATE : i called htc and spoke with a software tech for quite sometime and was able to have her duplicate the issue on her test phone. they are escatalting it to the proper persons and will be calling me back shortly, i will post when i hear back from them.. this issue seems to be taking place when the audible selection box is checked in the sound menu of the phone..
Just shot my first video .. will not play back.. it freezes and sits at a black screen.... Rebooted and tried to play again and its now saying sorry the video can not be played on the device..
Anyone else having this issue.. just noticed it..

are you hitting the red button to start and stop recording? is your sd card mounted?
Yea i know how to record.. lol .. and yes sd cards fine.. i have like 50 pics already of my 9 month old crawling around..

you have the settings on qhd or full hd?
Qhd.. so i went to make a video to show you what its doing and as i was makig the video it worked on the new video i made.. so i went back and now there all working.. even the ones that werent.. but that bothers me.. it didnt work even after a reboot but all the sudden its working.. did the sd card need to format or something crazy??

weird, glad it's working now I have my video quality set as full hd and I have had no issues
Ill have to try it because its not working again.. i dont see why it would give me an error saying it cant play it reguardless which setting i shot it on you know.. and its on and off..

Is anyone else runnig into this.. i can not take video and play it back without rebooting or pulling battery.. everytime i take a new video it does the same thing and all the previos videos i took dont work either.. wtf!?!? This is really pissing me off

Put all your files on your cpu then format your sd card it might be corrupt also download quickpic from the market

Download quickpic and see if your videos show up then maybe you won't need to format sd card. Are you using the sd card that came with the phone ?

Weird , I have had this phone since the 8th and made several videos with no issues. Maybe you need to exchange your phone or try a new sd card ? Have you tried using a different video player like mobo player ?

My sensation is on 2.3.3 I've been active on the Tmobile network for 2 days now with no push of the update. Anyone know if they stopped the roll out? Tried using update option and got "current" message. Phone is stock non root.

Did checkin nothing yet. Did HTC update option and it still says I'm up to date....it lies. 2.3.3 is not up to date. Don't know if anyone else in Dallas has it yet.

You'll get it soon enough. I just got myself a New Sensation which hasn't seen the update yet. My old one got it 5 days after the first initial people got it. So I assuming I will get mine sometime this week and you probably will too.

I got mine the day they started rolling them out. I'm in Toronto using WindMobile. Guess I was lucky... kinda. I've noticed the battery life has taken a nosedive since the update. The lockscreen isn't always responsive and some apps like FireFox take much longer to open. I've actually just reset my phone in hopes of the issues solving itself.

Then you typed it wrong. Make sure to note that the pattern of star-pound changes to pound-star after the numbers.

Do nothing after typing the last star -- the dialer will return to its normal screen with your contacts, then a few seconds later you should see an exclamation point inside a triangle in the status bar at the top with the message, "checkin succeeded".

The past few days my sensation has been rebooting it self A LOT. It's usually after exiting the browser or an app. I got the update a awhile back and have never had this issue. It only resets sense, not a full restart.
Anyone having or had this happen?

You should try using a theme. Before mines use to do that. Try looking on xda for themes, don't use the ones HTC gives

I ve had this problem, but solved it by flashing LeeDroid and stopped using all of the task killers and other bugged stuff.
I have a sensation and its weeks old.. stock everything no root or anything like that. And every time I try to do something on the internet it just closes and goes to the home screen or sometimes it doesn't load everything.. like all the pictures and all. Also if I go to YouTube or Facebook sometimes it says it doesn't have internet connection and to retry again and it does that until it loads.. I got this phone as a replacement of my mt4g from T-Mobile should I get another phone instead of this one? Would I be able to get the amaze 4g instead? Thanks all

If everything is stock.. Then factory reset is the only option.. Remember factory reset erases your phone data
