I'm posting this on behalf of Mek, this is the pimped out version of CM 5.0.7 and includes Firerats patches and my renice script and compcache to 32mb.
All the usual disclaimers like if you screw your phone its your fault, if the dog gets run over blame god or something. This does void your warranty and NO the dev or myself cannot and will not accept any responsibilty for your stupidity.
Do NOT use the Opt'd Gapps as they have been signed incorrectly, there is a link in my sig to get the correct version downloaded and flashed if you are using them.

Renice script to reduce call lag
Fix permissions corrected
Dalvik to SD running for G1, also MT3G users with Danger SPL and ext partition.

Thanks to r0man for this, my personal preference is Switchrom from the recovery console and currently see no problems with this or Bart.

Clock in the Black Version
Added for the blind and the stupid that can't read changelogs or post two in this thread.
Goto spare parts, change colour in there and reboot for it to take effect.

***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SETTINGS TO CHANGE AND/OR SET***
ADW Launcher settings-change "AB scale factor" to no more than "6" if you're going to use the background color feature, otherwise, it will not look correct.
Call Settings under Settings-enable "Force Touch Keyboard" to enable call buttons available on-screen
Spare Parts settings-
Change "Window animations" and "Transition animations" to Fast
Enable "Compcache enabled"
Enable "Launcher in memory"
Change all settings in "General" to white text for BLACK THEME ONLY
Under "Notifications": change "Notifications ticker color", "No notification title color","Ongoing notifications title", and "Latest notifications title color" to WHITE
For BLACK THEME ONLY-Under "Notifications": change "Clear notifications label color" to BLACK for BLACK THEME ONLY
Known Issues.
Black Edition - ADW Launcher wants to update in market. Please do NOT update as it messes with the theme and changes search bar to white, if not bothered by this update.
Also for both black & white it changes default wallpaper to ADW wallpaper.
LED notifications only work when screen switched off (I don't honestly see this as a problem, if your screen is on you can just see what the notification is for)
Clock is black on the Black status bar version. Goto spare parts and change the clock colour in there. Reboot for change to take effect.
Browser reload issue - I am currently looking into this, browser seems to be killed whilst multi tasking and reloads to homepage.

This is amazing! I personally don't like the HERO battery icon, but I do love the black status, etc. So I put the WHITE BATTERY style on the black, and removed Linda/youtube downloader for anyone who wants to flash it, Mek didn't know how to do so. :]

Resolution is posted in the thread at thedroidsector. As for recap on that, go to spareparts and change text color to white.

Its not so much a glitch more you have to follow the instructions on the rom page, it does state that the colour needs to be changed.

Swap is not recommended, there is Firerats all in one patch to enable it.

This rom is sweet! Only problem I am having is on my mt3g people say I sound distant cant hear me.. Any solutions for that???

Well this is a rom, its cyan v5.0.7 with increased compcache and several other scripts to make it run smoother, at what point seriously didn't you realise this whilst reading the OP?
If you don't want to flash it then jog on fella, I personally couldn't care less.

This is sweet, real snappy from the get go. Love all the new spare parts/adw options. I'm very happy with this ROM, of course i'll probably wander on here a week from now and it'll be "outdated" and then eventually have to deal with froyo, I never saw all of this amazing potential when I bought my g1 so long ago. Thanks for everyone who contributed.

Very nice ROM but I'm not getting LED notifications when I receive a text or an email. Is there a setting that I'm missing? All I found in the changelog is "D/S: Fix issues with notification LED on D/S" Not sure what D/S is.
Edit: Never mind. The notifications are there when the screen is off.

I am running 55fps throughout the OS and i'm SURE the hero doesn't record anywhere near it. Believe me, these animations are very smooth and make the experience feel even faster.
I'm using bakedspeed kernel #4 but the experience is exactly the same on the stock kernel #6
If you don't like Sense, you should LOVE this. Still, This SHOULD work with Sense, but i'm unable to test as I delete Sense stuff using Titanium Backup
I use Launcher Pro, Running ROM 1.6 and am very happy. I thought id share my setup, cuz its explosive!
New Window Animations and AOSP lock screen.
I am not sure if this will work with 1.7, but i'm pretty sure it does considering this also worked with 1.5.
I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THE ZIP FILES. MY HAT GOES OFF TO HERO_OVER, CALKULIN AND _BURST_
If you wanna take the plunge for a fun experience, PLEASE DO A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST, IN CASE YOU DO NOT LIKE IT.
PART 1
For the AOSP lockscreen:
1. Go to Titanium Backup
2. Tap Backup/Restore at the top-middle of the page
3. scroll down to htc Lockscreen, tap it, select uninstall. (thanks MikeC84!)
4. reboot (OR if you want the animations aswell, Reboot into Recovery and proceed to PART 2)
PART 2
_Burst_ PlurStarAlpha theme has some new window animations that really kick ass. This will change your battery icon to one with the percentage displayed inside. It also skins the dialer a darker shade of gray, real slick. I flash this theme for the animation, plus, its a very minimal theme to begin with.
1. Nandroid Backup (just incase you don't like the animations)
2. Wipe Cache and DalvCache
3. flash the zip from here http://www.mediafire.com/?wrwi9v1ivtp46o4 Thanks Burst!
4. reboot
Lastly, and **VERY IMPORTANT** because you will not be able to snooze/dismiss or even stop the Alarm with the AOSP lock screen, but this fixes it all:
8. Download and install DeskClock.apk attached to this post (its the aosp clock)
9. Now go into Titanium Backup(if you don't have it, install it from market) and uninstall the htc clock and clock widget. (u can keep it if you use the htc clock widget and sense, just don't set your alarms with it)
10. Now, go into Spare Parts, scroll to bottom and tap "basic settings", then change both the Transition and Window animations to "Fast".
*****EXPERIEMENTAL AOSP MMS.apk*****
I have not come across any issues, but YOU SHOULD NANDROID BACKUP HERE just in case.
1. Go to titanium backup and uninstall the 2 MMS applications (one is the app and the other is the widget. Don't delete the widget if you use sense and its messaging widget, not sure what will come of it tho) **doing this is important, if you don't delete these, it will revert back after a reboot and you'll have to install the apk all over again**.
2. Reboot.
3. Install the Mms.apk i have attached below (Thanks Tjohnsonjr!)
Enjoy the new animations and lockscreen (especially how they tie together!) on this blazing fast and stable ROM!

If you just want the lock screen You can skip all these steps to get android lock screen simply by deleting htcLockscreen.apk and rebooting. Use root explorer.

This is what I did... but remember to download/install the deskclock.apk or else you won't be able to turn off your sense alarms... all new alarms must be set using this clock.

That video is sweet. Love the transition animations. I've never gone outside of a sense Rom. Does the magic of those animations come from the _Burst _ theme or from the launcher/rom? Would the animation look like that in a sense rom with that theme applied?

launcher pro creates the animation for "launching" the app from the middle of the screen. The horizontal expand/contract animation in the menu's and page changes are from Burst. so you will get most of it.
I still recommend launcher pro if you never tried

Applied the theme and switched over to launcher pro in the fresh Rom I'd been using.Loving the animations. The _Burst_ theme is highly recommend. Seems to play nice with fresh. Thanks OP.

I can at least confirm the MMS.apk file attached in this thread does solve the issue with the pictures being compressed as you receive them... I was able to send myself a test message and download the picture and the file sizes match! Resolution was the same too.

Vaelpak is one of my favorite rom's but sometimes you have to fudge with things to get them to work on Vaelpak. Vael is constantly pumping out his version of things that will work for his rom...as well as many others(i.e. his wireless tether fix).

First off, I want to say thanks to Sonnysekhon for all of his hard work on his themes and for helping me a little. If I left anyone out its because I don't know where some of this stuff came from. I've been working on this for quite a while now and have made many changes at some user requests. I incorporated tons of 3D images and they look amazing (at least I think so anyway). These themes have an awesome HD feel now as well. The framework are complete and I will be slowly theming the apps as I go. All suggestions and requests are welcome!

Download Project_Bliss HD v2.0 for CM 6.1.0
To use the Project_BlissHD Colorbar in the CMTheme folder on your SD card. You will need to go to Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface > Tweaks extras > Select a Theme and pick Project_BlissHD. You will then need to reboot.

One of the best themes I've tried. Plan on running it for a while. Check the images for browser though. Zoom in button is bigger than zoom out and is pixelated... other than that its great!

Any chance of a flashable zip or possibly a metamorph?
EDIT: I flashed it via clockwork and it installed fine... I only tried using the CM Theme installer thing the first couple times. Guess you have to flash it as well

where are the wallpapers in the screenshots? i really like them.
Edit: I found one wallpaper but I cannot find the icons. Anyone know why when I go to wallpapers it makes me resize them? did you forget the icon pack here or did i just miss it somewhere? I'm using launcher pro plus by the way, but I still should be able to find the icons on my SD card or something. Any ideas?

Also this is the nicest theme i've ever used. I absolutely love it. Thanks so much for making it man! can't wait to get those icons so i can change my launcher pro icons from gingerbread green.

the launcher i used is adw with custom shortcuts but the icons are the application icons included with the theme except for the app drawer icon.

Would it be possible for you to make a flashable zip to change the battery from the liquid to CM6.1 stock battery meter?

The Music.apk in this theme is the Music Mod by Eliot Stocker.
The widgets are transparent with white text. I recommend using a dark wallpaper.
The font included in the theme is the Ubuntu font.
If you are using Amon_RA's recovery and the theme is not applying after flashing, then you need to use clockwork recovery.

Updated 02-09-2011 to contain custom application icon on rotary lockscreen.
Install Instructions: PLEASE READ!!!
1. Set MetaMorph delay to around 1000 (My exact number is 1054) then press Close
2. Press Unzip/Extract new theme
3. Navigate to where you have Minimalist_Lockscreen_Icons.zip located
4. Select the file
5. Press close on the on the pop up that appears
6. Press Apply all!
7. It WILL force close com.android.phone when it applies the Phone.apk, I do not know of any way around this.
8. While the force close pop up is on the screen, another pop up menu will appear behind the force close pop up and the buttons will say either Continue? or Stop; you must quickly press Force close on the force close pop up, then press Continue? on the other pop up menu; it will then start applying the framework-res.apk
9. The device may freeze up at this point, if it does freeze up (mine did), then wait about 30 seconds, then pull the battery and boot your phone
10. Everything should be applied now

For some odd reason, when you use apktool on the LatinIME.apk, it causes that. It has happened to everyone I know that has tried it.

Updated to newest version of fitsnugly's ROM.

Updated to cm_passion_full-8.zip and updated source files with a few new music images.

The facebook problem is that the text in the app is white on a white background. I'd take a screenshot, but I'm too lazy to blur out all the names.

Allow me to help:
Pretty sure its because you've changed the system font color to white.
Also, this happens in other applications as well. And it sorta kills any app that uses white backgrounds.

I've fixed the facebook text by making the xml's look for a different line that was already white instead of editing other lines to be white. It will be in the next release along with the facebook app being themed.
Can you give me specific examples of text not being visible in other apps because I haven't edited any other apps besides Calendar.apk in a way similar to how I messed up Facebook.apk, and I haven't noticed any text errors anywhere.

Beautiful theme, but I seen to have a problem. I installed through tweaktools and cannot add app to homescreen. When I long press and then click shortcut it fc the launcher everytime . Also I can no longer access my settings menu. Let me know what you need from me because I really want to get read odd my third party launcher.

Nice work except you left the Eclipse launcher in there. I dont know if this was on purpose, but wouldn't it be meant for eclipse not tweaked and cause problems?

Actually now that I think I about it I Get a fc of eclipse launcher. Didn't hit me because I used to use eclipse, but not anymore.

I use the eclipse launcher because it's so awesome (themed stock GB launcher) and it runs fine for me on normal tweaked.

Good catch I did use eclipse launcher with the theme thinking I had all the issues worked out at any rate I should be able to update theme to use themed touchwiz launcher instead

When I was testing tonight I was unable to replicate the problem. I installed the theme through CWM not sure how tweaktools installs it. Could be a bad download or flash? Either way I'll add the themed touchwiz launcher to the addons section of the OP.

FWIW I couldn't replicate the problem either, and I used tweaktools.
Nice job on the theme!

Must be bad d download reflashed with cwm. Works and looks great thanks for the work

Tweaktools also uses a CWM for installation. Its different from your package cause it also has some 'standard' apks to undo other themes. The cwm is pretty straightforward but does not wipe anything, cause theres no real need to.
But like witherell said, I installed via tweaktools and no FC with the launcher.

Well like I said IT had to have just been a bad download, because redownloaded and installed and works and looks great. But does anyone know of a way to use custom icons I don't like the green go sms.I tried finding it with root explorer and replacing the graphic but couldn't fix it.

Works great, but for whatever reason it does not support Samsung widgets, it wont even show the widgets to choose from....

Installed this through TweakTools this morning. Love it! I noticed for my setup, which of course does not apply to everyone, the GMail icon is not themed. Is it supposed to be? Or is there a way to get a color-themed Gmail icon?

agreed, would like to see only 2 screens (or at least give the user the option to add/remove screens).
regarding the wallpaper, I'm told that quickpic could fix that...

Tried quickPic. Love it, big improvement over stock gallery, but it does not change (fix) the wallpaper issue. Still liking the theme a great deal.

Try Wallpaper Wizardrii from the play store. It lets you crop/resize wallpapers to fit your homescreen. I have not used it very much, but others seem to like how it works.
