Here is the translation of Tencent's Tencent Desktop.
Note: I didn't make this app, I just translated it using UziTech's Android Translator
What is Tencent Desktop?
Tencent Desktop is a translation of the Chinese Dev's MIUI Style Launcher. it doesn't have an app drawer, has some MIUI icons, supports themes and has iPhone/MIUI lookalike folders. It runs very smoothly on slow phones (such as my LG GT540) and has a dockbar with up to 4 icon support.

A. GO Weather with the MIUI theme
4. How do you translate an app?
A. Decompile it in apktool, find strings.xml, copy it's text into the UziTech translator (see top) and follow the instructions there.

Dude, how did you enable transparency? I mean, I already have transparency in my ROM but while in ADW Launcher, I need to disable wallpaper hack in order to have transparent, I looked on the Tools + Preferences and didn't saw anything. If you could get me that, I would be including this into my ROM (of course, with your permission).

You have my permission(I didn't make it originally though)
Download MultiPicture Live Wallpaper from the market & set it to single picture and your wallpaper. Now it's transparent when you set it as live wallpaper

Thanks man, BTW if you give me the decompiled apk I can help you alot, my Dev Computer is broken, and I am using a temporary one without Android Stuff, PM me it or just post it here. I can translate it to Spanish, Portuguse, Italian, French, and finish up English, since I saw some typos.

This looks quite hot as well. Put on my Nexus S 4G and it looks very good, does not have to be a tablet. If it could be translated I think this may be a winning launcher too.

Yep. It is the same developer but it is already in English and has a app drawer. Basically it takes the smoothness of the MIUI one that the OP translated and adds the drawer to it.
I am really beginning to like this dev.

there are a few places that are still in chinese. for the most part it's english...

Yeah I downloaded the one in your OP.
Alot of the icons are in chinese for me, but on the screen shots here, they look to be in English.

me too. some place still in Chinese. weather widget, theme downloaded nofitication...
but this laucher very beautiful.. i love it. basic theme is too enought for me, no need more. if you spend more time to grow up in future, I think it's will be the 1st laucher.

About the launcher:​This launcher works on high end devices including tablet with 1080p resolution and the low/mid end devices with 240p resolution AND Kindle Fire as well.
I'm not the developer of this app but I'm part of the testing group for the 360 Launcher at the 360 company. I'm the first one to translate the launcher into English as it was requested by users on November 2011 before it has an Official English translation. But, starting from Beta 1.2 it is in English and I still help the company on translating versions 2.1+ into English. You can make your own theme by editing the icons in the theme apk.

This is really cool. i like how it can import setting/layouot/application shortcuts from other launchers.
I have this now on the lateest MiUi I am running (MiUiScottland) and seems to be all good. It even seems to be styled a bit like MiUi.
The weather widget does not seem to want to find me in Tasmania, Australia.
I like to folder animation, reminds me a bit of Simi Folder and I think the standard GB folder.

I have just downloaded two themes for the launcher and they download fine but are nowhere to be seen. You can not see them to select them in the themes options..
Is this a bug due to translation? Can it be fix? Or is there something else that needs to be done apart from downloading them to get it to work?

No no, I only translate the app. I only translate the special file with Chinese word into English. I'll take a look.
Ok, first press download. Then a installation page will come out. Press install. And the theme can be seen now.

LOL That's just silly. What exactly are you worried about with permissions? Its a launcher, IE: DESKTOP. Its supposed to interact with your system

The problem is it's in Russian and not available in English. So I download Yandex.Shell from Yandex.Store and follow lhurtado's guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38629332&postcount=19 to auto-translate 99.9% of Yandex.Shell into English.

SPB Shell 3D is compatible with my Galaxy S 2.3.6. When I try to install this I get an "analyzing pack error". Are we sure that the file is signed properly or that has not different requirements from SPB Shell 3D???

Didn't know about this, it's awesome!
Had a weird flicker bug when the status bar was pulled down on nexus4 4.2.2, but disabled system method wallpaper and now it's fine... Though it might of been the restart shell that occurred that fixed it.

OThis is surprisingly fast. The old Yandex Shell was a SPB ripoff, but this is awesome. I haven't produced any lag, even with all the fancy 3D stuff. It feels like an OEM setup. The features are actually usable, even with a bunch of screens. This Yandex guy/team should translate or have someone translate and get the weather and other widgets to work outside Russia. This mops the floor with those ridiculously priced 3D launchers available and is updated more. We should reach out to the dev. With that skillset and the fact that someone has done this for FREE, adding support for other countries languages couldn't be too much of a challenge. This would sell for 5 bucks all day long if it was available in English-speaking countrie

What is the trick? How to pack the apk? I get many errors to apktools b yandrex215 ..... I cant recompile the apk after decompile. I'd like to create Hungarian translation.
I found the How to, but I want to translate all.

I haven't got a solution for now. Because weather data is returned by Yandex Weather Server.

I was excited to try this and compare to SPB Shell already running on my tablet. However, was disappointed to find out it has no landscape mode/auto rotation. Is this true or am I just missing that switch somewhere? Would be cool to combine SPB with some of the newer features found in Yandex.

After using Android os for a long time, I wonder whether I could get rid of the original android interface and some fixed functions.

2. News widget is now Chinese and if you do not want to see it, you could close it in the settings.

It has several functions.
But I start with launcher, Dial, message, news and weather widget etc.

seems miui express (miui launcher with some miui apps) with a personal theme..
However i like it,i will follow this project..

For the news problem, im try to find API, but google's news and yahoo's news do not have articles in details. so im still trying to find some better.

Contacts App shows Contracts inside. Please fix it. and the graphics can be a lot better. Its very choppy now with edges breaking. also the black theme and black text makes difficult to view certain screens/options. Hope to see it fixed soon.. All the best.

By Graphics I meant the icons. It is very choppy (like stretched making it blurry for example the new msg icon in messages, phone dialer screen etc). and yes a straightforward icon for settings would be nice.
Also would there be any option to show the contacts photo in the contacts app?? That would be really cool.

Sweet, it converts icon masks correctly. There aren't many Go themes/icon packs I like, but a handful of them come in handy when trying to theme my home screen, and this app is pretty useful in that case. My launcher actually has very limited support for Go themes, but it doesn't allow me to select individual icons (also, no icon masks if I want to use the icon pack globally). This app fixes that, thanks.

Fixing icon mask is one of the reasons why you should use Theme Converter. Also the converted theme doesn't have unnecessary permissons and features that will drain your battery.

By the way, what kind of ads? The type you can close and isn't push ads? Or the random type while you are using it? The latter will be instant uninstall.

You know what I hated most; designing such beautiful useful app and putting piece of junk ads ruins entire user experiences, at least for me. I know developers somehow need to make money, but come'on....I am not experienced developer, but I am pretty sure there's much less annoying ads can be implemented...
