Inspire is my backup phone and I just found out gb is being released. My phone says is up to date, so do I just wait for a notification or something? I bought the phone used so I dont know when it was pruchased.

There is a thread on the very first page on this forum talking about it.
You will have to flash back to stock Rom . B/C the update will fail . I waited to get the update before I rooted .. if the update did go third you will lose root . Look at mudknot2005 guide .

Most likely because official updates look for files on the target device to be identical to the files they are trying to update. If they find a discrepancy, they won't proceed to update the file.

You should wait for the Wind GB version to be released. Their version is completely bloatware free. It will probably be released shortly.

My rooted phone upgraded to GB no problem. If it won't upgrade to ICS, I'm sure some ICS ROMs will shortly follow that you can use.

I've updated my rooted phone quite a few times before, including Froyo to GB. It just automatically unroots and you gotta hope Superoneclick can root it again on ICS.

Ok I reflashed phone and went to reinstall xda and the paid app is not in the marketplace. i paid for this app like 2 years ago . now it had vanished on me. I don't like the free app with ads. Any ideas?
