So.... a big fat thanks to whom ever can tell me why my wifi drops out, here is alogcat. U can see the action in blue right before the orange is what is making my connection time out. Can Any geeks or nerds bigger than I figure this out? (Is not offensive cause I am calling myself a nerd too) As soon as that command runs is the moment the wifi goes to no data, it remains connected to router just no data, wifi icon changes from blue to grey. I stop getting any kind of notifications. I have done the following.
I was on a prerooted image of 3.2 with both tiamat roms it happened, 100% stock not rooted OEM locked. 100% stock with root. Have tried stock kernnels launchpad kernnels. Everything I can think of. Now this problem never happened on 3.0 or 3.1 stock, rooted or otherwise.
Running xoom wife hc3.2 rooted.

Yeah, this is a known issue in Android 3.2
Change to a static ip on your network, then turn wifi off and back on again.

Anybody know why i can't access my 4G LTE or HSPA+ network on this rom? It's really weird because when i'm home, i have access to 3G, but as soon as i leave home, no data connection is made. I have full bars in an area where LTE works really well but it doesnt want to connect to it? Are there any known problemw ith this rom?
Try flashing different radios from the dev forum or try changing apn.

can't tether - please help indentify the problem

Hi all,
Im having problems with tethering with my sensation and it is frustrating me. I've tried it with 2 laptops and also with my desktop and still no success. The wireless devices do recognize the phone with no issue and showing me full reception, but yet i cant browse and it seems something is blocking it.. is it something that has to do with the phone or is it that my cell provider blocking it?
here is a picture to demonstrate the problem. As you can see, the phone is identified with full reception and telling me it is connected, but theres the yellow mark which indicate a problem and it says "no internet access" although i am connected.
It is like that with every device i try to tether

P.S
If it matters, then im using the Eleganicia sense 4 rom although this problem also happened with sense 3.6 roms as well
shame there are no replies as i'm having the same problem. it also happens with bluetooth tethering. All connects/pairs fine but no internet. I have mainly been trying to use this with my Nexus 7 for when i'm out and about. If it helps, i'm with Orange UK.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hi,
In order to set up tethering,I went to settings/more/tethering & portable hotspot/portable WiFi hotspot settings/ and then set my password and SSID
Turn on hotspot and mobile data, find my device, connected using the password, and everything worked.
Not sure if you missed any of those steps.

Wifi enabling issue

Hey every one. Im currently using beanstalk 4.2.2 just so you know. Ever since i got the phone i notice that every once in a while i cant turn the wifi on or it just stops working. Im not able to pull the wifi tab to the right to turn it on and it grays out like in the pic.

}
Even if i restart the phone it wont be working. This problem has occurred on the stock software and on beanstalk. A random thing i noticed is if the phone gets bumped, like if u set it down or accidentally hit it, the wifi will just randomly start working again. This doesnt work every time. Anyone have any ideas on what might be going on? Is this a hardware issue?
Thanks!

do you have the correct radio installed?
Im not sure. I didnt consider that because the wifi works most of the time. It just randomly does this

what radio (baseband) is listed in "about phone" in settings? And what carrier are you with?

It is a ATT phone but I unlocked it via unlocker.net. I am current living out of the country but my service provider is Lime. The baseband number is I727UCMC1
I unlocked it before i decided i was going to root it.

Getting these 'eventX-1703' wakelocks all of the sudden?

I have never seen these before until today...does anyone have any clue what they are? They go all the way up to 8.
The screenshot is the only information I have...I tried googling it but didn't find anything.

I want to say it's syncing issues, but I can't remember for sure. At any point, have you been out of range of wifi, or if not on wifi, poor data connection?
I will try to remember what caused the issue for me, because I have seen it before.

WiFi connection is strong, I was on WiFi the entire time this happened.
I just clean flashed so I am going to see what app was causing this, if you remember feel free to let me know.
Thanks!

"No Service" in the notification bar in the lock screen with Lollipop

Hey guys, I just upgraded to Lollipop last night.
The only annoyance i've noticed so far is that it says "No Service" on the lockscreen, even though my phone signal is fine
Any way to solve this?

I also had the same problem no need to worry give it few days it will recognize by itself I was also curious Abt this now it's fine
Me tpp
Yeah same here on o2-uk don't know weather it has anything to do with flashing non UK firmware to it though
It's simple
Just toggle the airplane mode.
It will then be fine until you reboot next time.

Glad that it helped you.
Had same problem here getting no service sometimes. I went back to kitkat for now.
It's probably because you flashed a non uk firmware. I don't blame you though the uk lollipop is taking way too long...
