Has anyone made a modified Hulu yet for the HTC thunderbolt? I'm a little tired of waiting for them to fix it.

Last time I checked Hulu Plus is working on the TBolt. Or does it not work on a rooted bolt? Guess I gotta search the forums to find out since I did just watch the n00b video when registering.

Hulu Plus works fine on un-rooted Thunderbolts, just download it from the market. Not sure about Gingerbread builds.

I've been using Hulu with Flash 10.2 on my Thunderbolt. I'll attach what works for me.
*Edit
I also included Flash 10.2 because flash 10.3 didn't work with Hulu.
Pretty sure the problem is not root related, but having their adhosts blocked in your hosts file either from the rom you use doing it, adfree for android or manually doing it. Look for entries pertaining to hulu and remove them.
Well it didn't work while I was stock or rooted. I'm going to try the method this guy posted and see.

I have a 2.2 evo, updated with the most recent ota update (after manual updating)
I know i should have just rooted 2.1 then flashed a 2.2 rom... but oh well.
No?
Have you tried SimpleRoot? That program was just recently updated I believe. Check the evo forums
No nothing works, I patiently wait monitoring tweets and forums of all relevant EVO info.
Have we been forgotten? There were a lot of early downloaders who borked their root with that HTC ota.., and many interested new EVO users.. tired of watching all of u tweekers play with roms and all that rooted goodness.... PLZ HELP US OBI-ONE, YOUR OUR ONLY HOPE....

I think we are the forgotten ones. Either that, or it is harder to crack than Al Capone's safe. This wait though has guaranteed me donating to whomever comes thru with it. I wish you could "unroot" the update.
Just thought I'd post the .apk
**ONLY FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY S DEVICES** Useful if you have installed a custom ROM that doesn't include the stock music player, which I think is pretty great
Htc Desire 2.2 , doesn't work
Could you post some screen shots or further details?

Samsungs apps (musik etc.) is made for touchwize so it relays on some files from the wize shell thats why even pushing it wont help correct me if Im wrong..
Alright, so this may not work for other (non samsung touchwiz) devices? My apologies then. I will try it on my brother's Desire 2.2 as soon as possible. I just figured it would work since I saw someone post the Motorola music app, and it was working fine on plenty of devices.
Sorry guys!
One thing I can infer from the above posts is that as of right now we can only confirm that it doesn't work on HTC devices, perhaps Sense is preventing it somehow? Could someone with another brand (Motorola, LG, etc.) test this! thank you.
no go on Evo 2.2

no go on T-Mobile G2
Also doesn't work on Moto DroidX.
I take it this has come from the Galaxy S.
If installing this on the Galaxy Tab does it run in conjunction or override with the stock player on the Tab?

hm, that's a good question. and I couldn't be to sure about an answer, but I'm thinking it would probably install in conjunction, but I could be wrong. Anybody else have any idea?
Also, thank you everybody for trying it on your device! I really appreciate that! But I must apologize for it not working....hah.
wont let me move
I try to move this to the system/app folder and it tells me there is not enough room. any help would be greatly appreciated can I change the partition size of this folder?
Thanks

i'm working on that now. says its rooting but dont do nothing. rebooted a couple times and still no go
It only works if you have downgraded your ROM to the DHD rom first.
Ok will see what transpires with this thing. Hopefully things move along like the captivate forums.

Paul @ MoDaCo has discontinued development of this tool. It will only work with 1.3X build. it will not work with 1.7X/1.8X.

Im sure this has been asked before but I havn't found an exact answer. Is there a ROM for HTC Desire Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 with camera working usb mass storage working etc etc you get the picture. Im not exactly a noob at all this stuff but i can't seem to find a ROM for it. and yes my HTC Desire IS rooted. also just out of curiosity where is that folder that all paid apps are stored in? well how to access it more to the point?
Uh how do you check if its rooted cuz an app says it isnt but i did it yesterday with revolution Oo
Well in HBOOT it says S-OFF and at the top Revolutionary highlighted in pink so I guess that means it IS rooted?
bump bump bump
well in terminal emulator putting "su" i get permission denied how do i log in with super user?
Hi!
I'm currently using what probably is the only one ICS image for Desire out there - in its repacked incarnation - found in
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403113
Camera does not work, I had a random reboot while calling my brother, and while the mount2sd script seems to work well enough (my SD card is appropriately partitioned with a 500MB sd-ext) I just cannot manage to install Aldiko.
Otherwise ICS looks quite cool Its browser finally seems ok.
To access all of your stuff I strongly suggest to install Android SDK on a PC and connect to the phone via adb. It may take a while to learn how to do it but it's definitely worth it.
If I'm not mistaken, paid apps are with all other apps under /data/app, at least mine are.
meh thx but not interested in ones with functions disabled. unless u can tell me why ics is better then ginger or how to renabled camera n stuff ill pass

lol don't be so demanding, ics is barely out.
time will come and there will be fully working ics roms.
for now be happy that there even is a public ics rom for your device, for those who want to test it.
there is an app on the market called "root checker", guess what is does ;-).

Amen to that.
Also, there's no such thing as rooting without then installing 'superuser'. Look for it in the market.
(I would have posted a link, but I've been antispammed)

You need to download the root.zip to get root access once you've used Revolutionary.

hi everybody,
i just downloaded and installed the axiom s 1.8.0 rom for the htc one s with the s4. it works good, i like it. however, it only says 2g and its soo slow downloading (if it all). i looked around and couldnt really find anything about this for this particular rom (the dev thread is really long and search didnt really help). if you can help me get 4g back, i would appreciate it.
thanks!

I've tried the official tmobile radio, one of the old Europe radioas and the new 4.0.4 radio, they all worked fine for me. 4.0.4 being the best.
Try wiping and flashing again, make SURE you wipe System, and factory reset. Heck, do it twice just to make sure.
I don't think anyone else is having problems.

I got it to work. I took out the sim card for a few seconds and put it back in and next time i was out in the open it said 4g. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated.
