I own a Samsung Omnia I900, OS: Windows Mobile 6.1
I'm sure there is a way to run Android on it and i really tried a lot of things. Nothing worked.
Could you please help me? I read so much about Android on Omnia I900 but I really don't know how to get it.
Send me links, (english) discriptions or write here in the thread any solutions for my problem.

Check out the Omnia section on the Modaco forums. There was loads of dev work going on there when i had this phone.
Samsung should also do something.. OS shall be upgradable..
I think this will be good market in future..

I have a problem with my smart fon. I'm using HTC [email protected] and already upgraded to wm6.5. But i dunno how to upgrade my samsung omnia 8GB from wm6.1pro to wm6.5. Can we use the same software provided by this polaris .. or any other software for my samsung?.. pls help me... may be u can provide any others suggestion on this... tq..

No...all though it can use the same programs. upgrading the omnia requires different tools.

Hi everyone.I'm new to windows mobile.
I want to upgrade my omnia 2 to 6.5.but i don't know how.
I live in a country that pcstudio wont update my phone.so i have to do it manually.
the things i want is a good,official and preferably newest 6.5 rom and the flasher and a good well explained tutorial.Can anyone help me?
And another question:what is this omnia 2's cooked rom that they took from hd2?is it good?does it have another way to be installed?

Samsung offers free upgrade from WM6.1 to WM6.5.
You can upgrade Omnia 2 via PC Studio. Get it from samsung's website.

Is this the Omnia II?
Is it Verizon?

gotta problem flashing an older omnia i900. i am running windows 7 now and trying to use Grandprix 1.6.4 for vista, but it wont find the phone. anyone??
I never used GP back when i had one of these phones so can't help you there. What i will say is that there was a good deal of dev support over at the Modaco forums for the Omnia, so you might want to try there.

Try the xpmode in win7 or compatibility mode ...
Omnia i900 is a qbowl, is that right ? Have a look on QBowl drivers...or try HandyFaq page...
