Unfortunately no, the kernal we have doesn't allow it. Im looking at ways of changing this but I've not got that far yet.
On the other hand they're are a few speed tweaks you can do with the kernal that I have included in the custom rom Im releasing today that make the native task manager more agressive with the empty processes.

Will that be for the status or chacha

Maybe it's something else... Like battery calibration on your part, the fact that maybe you just flashed a new rom and haven't given the battery time to adjust.
That could be it. is there a setting to fix this? Or do u know of any fixes out there that can correct this issue? Thanks for the response...

Question

Is there any 4g ics Rom out there that support 4g??
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium
All of them..
Sent from my HTC One S running ViperOneS!
Like which Roms though
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium
What country are you in? Some countries lowered the data speed. Here in the US I'm on stock getting over 30 Mbps
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
Every ROM...if the phone supports 4G, then the ROMs suppost 4G. Nothing more to it.
I'm in the us but the Roms I've tried only get 3g and not 4g
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium
Don't know what to tell you. I'm stock not rooted (lost interest in rooting since ics was released) and I always get 4g. If your carrier supports 4g and you aren't getting it the first thing I would do is call them and explain you aren't getting it.
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
Well I'm using mine rooted and the only Rom I found that supported 4g was trick droid t mobile version
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium
Does it work on stock Rom ? If not are the apn settings correct?
And as I mentioned before you should call your carrier. Don't mention you are using a custom Rom .
Yet another reason why rooting isn't what it used to be

What do speedtests really tell you about a rom

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
Not much. And depends on the rom.
It will just tell you how fast the cpu and gpu can work. But the real test is you trying out the rom by your self

So basically if a rom has faster down & upload speeds than another rom it doesn't mean that the faster rom is nesicarilly better than the other one? Thanks

No. Wait
If you mean Internet speed. It various from rom to rom unfortunately. You have to check the bugs list. And also you have to try the rom as it also various from device to device.
And sorry for the late response and the misunderstood :banghead:
