Would anyone be kind enough to upload the most current version of the Genius Button and the lib files that go along with it? You don't need to dress it up or anything, just the raw apk and lib files would be perfect. Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi all,
Here is the freshly extracted .apk of photo editor from i9000's value pack system/app.
There was no .odex.
Its can be installed anyway (system/app or normal installation)
Its opening but force closes after selecting picture!
My rom is'nt deodexed. So someone please try it on a deodexed ROM.
THANKS!
force close on a deoxed rom ddkp3
I think it needs porting of some framework files also....try out to find which one....
I think it needs a correct lib file!
Can someone please post the correct lib file to run this?

PhotoEditor.apk
system\lib
libContourJNI.so
libMI_Color_JNI.so
libMI_Effect_JNI.so
libMI_Motion_JNI.so
libMI_ObjectSel_JNI.so
libMI_Tool_JNI.so
yet still FC when trying to open a photo.....

Sorry if this is a noob question or something but does anyone know how to get some system apps working on other phones? For example I wanna extract conversations.apk of the Xperia S and put it in the system folder of the galaxy ace. After setting permissions it doesn't work. Am I missing something? It shouldn't require any libs and maybe it's a hardware thing?
i am interested as well, because i want the Browser from Xperia S on my HTC One X.
Anyone that can help us????
Anyone?

hi,guys.. i know all of you wanna create or mod an android apps and wanna use it or share.
i think newb like me already tried to change the image files from res folder of apk but the problem is edited apk files just dont install,it always say application not installed, the problem is the apk isn't signed, you have to sign it.. most of newb dont know how to sign apk. so here is an android app "ZIP SIGNER" it can sign your apk file. in this app just input your edited apk and chose output location and press Sign, and your apk will be signed. and you will be able to install your edited apk...... so try it.
here is the link www.4shared.com/android/rIOfv0YR/zip_signer.html

Is this not in the market???

Yes it is. And I would never recommend anyone to trust somebody who posts a link to download software away from the Play Store unless they are a recognised Dev - it could be anything at all.

You might consider editing your first post and removing the link that does not point to the market. I know you were trying to be helpful, but that doesn't look good.

This should hold you in good stead:

I added to that thread toward the end with some of my own hacks. It can be tricky, but there are downloadable files that you could modify to serve your own needs.

If you want your own hack, I don't believe so--unless there's a hex editor for Android available someplace. You can sometimes plain-text edit the actual keys to call other actual keys. For instance, I hacked one key file to replace the voice call button with a TAB, and that procedure did not need hex editing
I do believe the character you want is called a "tilde." If so, then chaostic_2k1's hacked bin has [email protected] producing a tilde--I can confirm that on my own SK4G.
IF that fits your needs, you could download his files from here, then copy over to specific sys directory without a computer (I assume you're rooted, etc).
EDIT: if that's the character you want, my own hacked file on that thread will also produce it via [email protected]

Nah, it's just .bin files, no need for cwm, etc. Go to the listed directory in /sys, rename the original files and copy over the new ones. Reboot.
