Hi everyone,
I was wondering if a live wallpaper existed like the one that was presented for a concept phone.
Window Phone Concept
Really love this, the transparency is obviously not possible, but a animated weather layer like that over a simple wallpaper would be awesome!
Kind regards,
Tobias
Beautiful widgets has one in the market. Works great in my evo.
If you have beautiful widgets base package, the wallpaper reflects current conditions.

Not really the same realistic effect as the Window Phone Concept, it's a start but not as pretty.
Just wondering what you guys have set as your lockscreen? Im currently using the Clock, as I found the weather app to get annoying after a while, cool for the first few times though
How about you guys?
I'm using the weather lockscreen and I don't think I'll get tired of it any time soon
Using weather because it's useful and cool.

Anybody figure out if you can make the lockscreen show something other than the current weather?

I think he meant if it's possible to show weather forecast on the lockscreen, not just the current weather and temperature when using the weather lockscreen.
I actually meant if its possible to have another city show besides weather keep polling for your current location.
Close enough
And it seems like you can only have your current location displayed.

Probably only when the lockscreen is visible?
If you go into the weather settings, you can tell it which location is your "current" location and that would be the one showing up. I tested this with Paris, France and my other locations are home, work, and mom's cities.

Using the clock one with the really technical looking clock. It's beautiful, but deep down inside I hate it because it means on the lock screen the time is displayed three times. It's in the status bar, it's above the clock widget, and then of course the clock widget itself.
None of the above, don't like lock screen.
I'm using an app called No Lock, which by pass the lock screen and goes straight to home screen.
Im calling BS on being able to change the weather lockscreen to show anything but the current weather... looked and looked, I see no setting. Now I understand you can change the Clock widget on the homescreen to show different widgets, but not the lockscreen.
Somebody please prove me wrong, and give me a step by step....
Using Widgetlocker as I find the new HTC "ring" unlock system to hard to use when the phone is in a car holder
I'm using my own weather lockscreen. Which is a Pittsburgh Steelers one with weather in front of Heinz field.

Appointments on Lock Screen
Instead of showing weather, I would rather have appointments showing on the lock screen so that one can easily know what is the next appointment without unlocking the device (just like s2u2 does it). Any genius knows how to do that?
Hey guys, so i was wondering if there is a way to get the HTC weather/clock app on our phones?
Did a forum and internet search and nothing came up. I certainly can't convert it over myself cause i don't know the first thing about modding phones or apps or widgets. Figured i would ask around and see what the consensus is!
Also, if it is possible, and i understand it is a newer phone, but i really like the widget from the new LG phone on verizon. Pic below is of the widget on that new LG phone!
Download Fancy Widgets, upgrade to the paid version, go into appearance settings, clock skin and download the h7c skin and apply it. Also, change the clock type to flip clock and you're set.

fancy widgets or beautiful widgets
I've tried fancywidgets and beautiful widgets, and they are very very similar, but I preferred beautiful widgets. Beautiful seemed to run better for me. Appearance wise, they are basically identical.
agreed. i love beautiful widgets.
Beautiful widgets is free to try. Search beautiful widgets lite in the market. If you want to customize more, then buy it; but if you just want the htc look, lite should be enough

So can users make custom lockscreens? not just wallpapers, but the interactive ones?
I would pay money to have a lockscreen that showed the agenda widget. I'm taking about the "live" lockscreens out whatever they are called, similar to how you can have updates out stocks on your lockscreen.
I've been looking, hopefully I didn't miss anything.

not sure if widget locker would be what youare looking for
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker&feature=search_result
I've seen a lot of beautiful screens with this widget on it, but I'm having trouble setting it up myself.
Whenever I have the widget on my screen it looks very nice but the background color is a transparent like color. I'm how to remove it and make the widget have no background color at all.
If anyone has a solution, thanks
