im on infused v2 b3 using the stock rogers modem, while using that modem, does that mean im not using AT&T's network at all? this might be a noob question but i was just curious. thanks in advance!
No, that just means your using a newer built modem.
If your AT&T SIM card is still in your phone, then your still using AT&T's network.
thank you!

Ps:sorry for my bad english,i'm italian
i had good luck with the jk4 modem while i was there on vacation over Christmas.
edit: actually, that's what comes with continuum already, isn't it?
Effectively,i've also had the same problem with serendipity 6.3
I am in Morocco , running Phoenix rom with no problem. You should give it a try.

Hello
I used ATT i727 in South korea.
ATT ROM have too many bloatware and can't use wifi hotspot(its only applied on ATT SIM or ATT network) and can't select
WCDMA Only network mode.
SO I decide rogers rom flash on my ATT i727.
I headr that SGH-i727 and SGH-I727R are perfect same hardware.
But....I am very afraid my phone will be bricked.
I think ODIN solve a problem... I hope...ODIN GOD please help me.
Am I mad? hehe
i think quite a lot of people have already tried that. So it shouldn't have any problem.
Good information!!
Thanks athris.
This ROM is based on Rogers, and works great. I've been on it for a month or so and haven't had any issues
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357506
Thanks for all information.
I just changed my skyrocket to Rogers rom via odin.
But....custom rom count +1 increased.
I already forgive free 1year warranty because korea samsung won't get International samsung phones.
Rogers rom allow any carrier sim using wifi tethering.
I think Rogers more stable than att rom..

Hey guys
Flashed my Telstra i9305T with the unbranded hong Kong firmware from Sammobile using Odin today, all went well except no matter what I do I can't get it to connect to Telstra 4G. Only data I can get is HSDPA+. I've set all the APIs up but still mothkng . Has anyone else had this issue or know what can can do to fix it? I've spent all night on Google and can't find squat
Any help is greatly appreciated otherwise I'll attempt to ref lash the Telstra bloated from tomorrow
Cheers
1st wrong section. Should be Q&A
2nd flash a 9305T modem. That will then give you 4g back.

If a mod can move this that would be great.
Also is there a way I can keep the unbranded hong kong firmware but flash a Telstra modem?
im not using custom roms just stock Sammy firmware as I haven't unlocked/rooted the phone?

Yes, the modem can be flashed on its own, here they all are.

Thanks for the replies guys
so I have no choice but to CWM and root it I take it
that being the case
is this the correct procedure for i9305T
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914394
Coming from nexus devices only so its a little more complex than im used to haha
OK have installed CWM. do I need root to flash the modem or is cwm enough?
Basicaly once I have Hongkong firmware and can flash the modem that's all I want to do so the less extra stuff I need to put on it the better
ok guys
thanks for putting up with my noobishness.
I have now got HK firmware, CMW and Telstra modem running and have 4g again
Big thanks to you both.
Just wanting to confirm ill now have to manuall flash updates from sammmobile as the combo of modem and firmware wont allow OTA's.
each time I flash the latest version of JB/KLP ill need to reload the Telstra modem (unless there is a newer version)
Thanks for all your help again.
Cheers

If you have a 9305t with telstra you can use either one of the 9305t modems. I haven't done a speed test but for me I am getting a better signal strength with the newer UBALK2 modem then with the DVALI5. I have a 9305t on the telstra network
edit: did a quick speed test and got about 10mb/s quicker download and about 7mb/s slower upload then dvali5. This is in the middle of Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, but I believe speeds will vary with network congestion

UBALK2 modem
Hi there,
Could anyone who's using the UBALK2 modem help me, please? I'd like to know if the UBALK2 modem has support to 3G on 1900MHz frequency. Samsung says the I9305TUBALK2 baseband has support to the following frequencies, but I never trust them
3G HSPA+ 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHZ
4G LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600 MHz
Cheers!
I recently got rid of my AT&T service for Solavei which uses the T-Mobile network. I have unlocked and rooted the phone, I have the stock ATT ROM right now. I have tried changing the Radios to Blaze 4G LB7 ICS and Telus SGH-T989D TLLE4. No luck even after changing frequencies in *#2263#. I have gotten 2 bars on 4G but cannot make calls . Any ideas? Do I need to flash a ROM?
I've looked everywhere on here for posts talking about Solavei and cannot find anything.
Mark
Flash a t989 Tom and blaze, and check ur apn
You're saying to flash the T-Mobile 898 rom and radio?

Hey guys,
I recently rooted my phone and installed paranoid android 4.0 beta onto it. Everything works properly but I can't get LTE reception at all. I have tried forcing the phone to only connect to LTE through using *#*#4636#*#* and all I am getting is no service|rogers. I have tried this on other Roms(omnirom) but to no avail. Can someone explain why I am not getting LTE reception in an area I should be getting it?
Much thanks ?
BTW if it helps I live Toronto and I'm with Rogers

Most likely it is your APN settings if LTE was working on stock and you have not flashed a new radio. Unfortunately, Rogers' site has not been updated with correct APN settings for devices past 4.2 : http://www.rogers.com/web/support/wireless/android-customize/1363?setLanguage=en
Those MIGHT work, but somethings can change between updates and being in the US, I've no way to help check. I believe the main issue is the APN has to have this: ltemobile.apn
Found this for the N4, which I am assuming the APNs will be similar, if not the same: http://www.thegadgetmasters.com/2012/11/23/how-to-nexus-4-has-lte-how-to-enable-4g-lte-on-nexus-4/
Good luck.
Yup the APN was the issue thanks!
