I just noticed today i missed some calls and i always have my phone vibrate. Tested it with my home phone and call comes in but it does not vibrate even though i have it set to vibrate. Anyone experiencing this problem?
so no one is experiencing this issue... just tried different roms and still i can get the phone to vibrate.
Anyone have any idea if the motor is bad or could it be software issue?
this happened to me once, pull the battery and give it a try.
lol, done that already. Tried different roms as well

Received my Sensation directly from T-Mobile last week and noticed that I was missing alot of phone calls and messages. I always have my phone set to vibrate, so I originally thought the issue was simply that the Sensation didn't vibrate quite as hard as my old phone (MT4G).
Anyways, I called my Sensation from my work line to see what was going on.
1/3 of the time the phone would not vibrate at all
1/3 of the time the phone would vibrate once and then go silent
1/3 of the time the phone would continually vibrate as expected
Restarted the phone a few times, same problem.
Factory reset, problem still there.
Anyone else run into this issue?
I am having this issue as well. I have an email into HTC. Mine only vibrates when I turn it on. So I know it can vibrate.

Let me know what you hear back
Did you guys hear anything or what was your final solution. I just noticed today that mine is NOT vibrating. I have done factory reset and checked everything. I missed a lot of calls today because of this. I always have my phone on vibrate and don't like the ringer.
Same problem here. Took delivery of the Sensation today: no haptic feedback, novirate on connect and no vibration when ringer set to vibra. Any idess?

I have the same problem - did you get a fix?
When I first got my Charge, it vibrated normally when I got an SMS. However, after tinkering with it for a while, the SMS vibrate barely works. It feels like the motor runs once, and that's it. I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue- all other vibration works normally. I can get an app from the Market to change the SMS vibrate, which works, but instead of replacing it, it just does the custom vibrate before the miniscule system vibrate. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?
I've been having a weird problem that has become very frequent in the past couple days. When I place a call, I will just get complete silence while the counter starts to indicate the call is being made. I thought it was just a failed attempt to connect to the network, until I did some testing and found out that the call is actually being placed and the other person can answer - but they also get silence. When this happens, I don't get that initial little digital S3 tone you hear to indicate a call is being placed, and also don't hear the normal phone ringing tone you hear when you are waiting for someone to pick up. This is now happening on 25-50% of calls I place, so when I don't hear that tone, I just have to hangup and retry a couple times until I get the tones to indicate the call is going to work. It seems like this used to happen maybe once in a very long while, like maybe if you hang up and then immediately try to dial out again...but again, it's now happening very frequently. Anyone know what is going on here?
FYI, I've been on CleanRom 6 for quite a long while with no issues, and I haven't made any changes to my phone setup in weeks that would seem to account for this new issue. Any help would be appreciated. If I can't figure it out, looks like I'll try to wipe everything and start from scratch to see if it'll get rid of the problem.
Update: Tracked this issue to Soundabout app I had recently installed. Verified by uninstalling and reinstalling that app to fix/recreate the problem.
Been happening more and more, when some one calls me I can't hear anything from them, but they can hear me. I had this issue when I very first turned on the phone and made a call. I did a reboot and it seems to clear it up. But now it keeps happening. Anyone else run into this?
Everytime I receive a call using either Instagram or Whatsapp my notifications and phone sounds go haywire after. Immediately after if I use the volume buttons on the side they control the audio for ringtone but not volume for anything else. All sounds are muffled and low or don't ring or make any sound at all. The only option is to restart the phone. So now I'm restarting the phone several times a day.
I've checked zen mode, its off. I've checked adaptive battery, that's not it. I've hard reset the phone 4 times and eventually loaded apps one by one until I found it to be happened with Whatsapp and Instagram. I'm not using the beta of either app.
I've had this issue from day one with this phone. I thought it was the phone, had it replaced within a week of getting it from TMO and its still continuing. This is strange, especially coming from a 6T. I'm at my wits end and ready to get rid of this thing. Anyone else come across this?
