Is there a way to change the 4 shortcuts on the lockscreen? You'd think there'd be a way to change them.

You have to be using Rosie as your launcher to do so. You go to personalize and then to the lockscreen option. Then from their you can click the tab one the bottom to replace the shortcuts. There ya go. You're welcome.

As they said: menu-personalize-lockscreen-settings-click the icon to change-click the icon to replace-apply settings.
Done.

Ok so the thing that's bonky is that I have a ROM that's striped of Sense except for a couple things. Therefore we can't alter the lockscreen through the "Personalize" menu.
Is there a way to either wipe all the shortcuts off of there, or alter it via other means?

Nope, you need the sense menus to do it.

Hi Guys,
First time poster. I'm using Go Launcher Ex on an unrooted HTC Sensation. I have all my icons themed, but the four icons that show up for my lock screen are still set as the stock icons. Is there a way that I can change these using Go Launcher? Don't know if I could handle rooting.

I don't think so, because the lockscreen is a sense feature so it uses stock icons, not go launcher themed icons.

you have to stick each go launcher icon inside each apk you want to change for instance if you have a phone icon replace it in the dialer apk it should be name dialer.png

you have to change them while using the stock launcher. Clear the default from Go Launcher, press home, change your lockscreen, then set Go Launcher as your default.

You can't change the style of the icons though, can you? (I think that's what op was getting at)

Sorry, should have clarified. I don't need to change the function, just the look.

It's in the ADW launcher settings, look for the dock icons option, then just drag and drop you apps you want in the new spots.

If you want more icons to choose from, download new themes from the market or from within dock settings under themes
If you want more icons on the dock it self (eg 5 instead of 3) then you hit the soft menu key, go to more. Click adw settings. Its in there somewhere under dock icon as stated above.

So I went to ADW settings, General Behavior and this is all I see. SENSE PREVIEWS, CLOSING FOLDER, SHOW NOTIFICATION, BUBBLE FONT SIZE, HOME BUTTON BINDING, SWIPE DOWN ACTIONS, SWIPE UP ACTIONS AND DOUBLE TAP ACTIONS.
This is really frustrating.
Do you mean as a shortcut icon, lets say if you click the icon the app drawer is launched?
The instructions I gave were for ADW Launcher EX. Sorry about that. Should've asked which version.

There is no option to change shortcuts :S And before I was able to make lock screen shortcuts in that menu now they must be same like in stock dock ... thats wired .. any ideas how can I set different shortcuts in lock screen without changing dock ?
I don't think you can, if you want to stick with the Sense launcher. It's an ICS thing, I'm afraid.

I believe we are talking about ice-cream sandwich here. There are only settings to change the lockscreen wallpapers.

I just dont get it why they remove that option from settings ? It doesnt make sense
Well yea but there was no dock in previous versions of Sense. So technically they didn't remove anything. It's just that you're stuck with having the same shortcuts on your dock, and you can only change it through your dock. I know, I found it weird at first too.

Is it possible to change a app icon on the lockscreen to a widget?
more importantly the wifi hotspot settings button.
I think if you include it on the bottom of the 4 places that HTC uses, they should appear on the lockscreen
sent using HTC1S
The lockscreen only shows what app icons are currently in your dock, and since you can't put widgets in your your dock it won't work.
Try widgetlocker app if its something you really need. It's a paid app but worth it, lots of cool options.

Reread the OP. He asked of WIDGETS cam be put on lockscreen, not app icons.
Sent from my HTC One S running Axiom S
Use WidgetLocker from Play market. It might have that feature.
Right now I'm using Notification Toggle from the Play store.. and there are several other apps that do the same thing.. Lets you put many different settings in your notification pull-down which you can access from lock screen
Hey guys might be a noob question or not I have alot of png files and I wish to change some Icons within AOSP mainly the Alpha4 version. How would I go about changing some icons? Thanks!!
Do you mean Homescreen icons? Or menu Icons?
Homescreen
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
if I'm not mistaken, those are typically stored in one of the apks inside /system/framework, or within the apks of the apps themselves. but be careful editing them... you could easily give yourself a soft brick if you foul one up.
