this is my fisrt post on the forum so here goes.
I've got my first android phone a couple of weeks ago and since then I did the S-OFF and rooted it. I read the boards here, i maneged to get new roms on it without any problems and I am very happy with the performance of the phone now.
The only thing is that I can not get 3G data connectivity only EDGE.
I live in a place that always has 3G and it seems a little odd.
If anyone has encoutered this problem please let me know if and how to resolve it.

Have you tried with another ROM? ZuluGen or the inofficial nighthly? These are not ports from Inc S, but made directly from Cyanogen source.
I think it's worth to give it a try... Just don't forget to do a NAND backup before flashing a new ROM! (This can directly be done in ROM Manager when choosing the ROM to flash. )
I assume you know how to use Titanium Backup to port all your settings and apps to the new ROM. If not, no worries... it's fairly simple and actually self-explanatory!

I have a question about custom roms, is there any that works completely without any bug and with all features ?
Im using Xperia Pro and i want to get everything it offers with better performance than stock.
Any help ? Please dont tell me to try "some" roms, i just want to know if there's any that has everything (preferably JB, but ICS will do)

Why don't u go to the development section for your device and ask them. They would know more than those of us without your device

sorry for bothering you. i know asking which ROM is the most stable is frowned upon. but I'm asking it because it is not my phone. it is my sister's and she is killing me. so, which one is the most stable ROM?
things i care about:
working camera
working wifi
working gps
working gprs
working ...(all the essentials)
good performance
thing i dont care about:
the android number ( it's not like my sister is the most tech savvy person). i dont care if it's android 4 or 4.1 or 4.2 or 4.3 . i just want it to be north of the android 4 and capable of getting her happy and satisfied with her phone.

P.S: if you think there is a kernel or something that i better hear about, please let me know about it.
try flashing the latest ' slim Bean. 4.3' .. by lolation, you will get it in the development section.
for me most stable is Cm 10.1 Alpha 9 by dhiru. Big thank for his God work! ^_^

The MIUI Rom v5 is an abandoned project? I saw that Tquetski no longer part of the forum, it was who was ahead of porting the rom.
We could give the project progress? Ask the talking heads forum RAZR HD, which would be necessary to continue the porting of MIUI Rom?

Hi can anyone confirm what is exactly working and what not
I am new to verizon product from india and in this mobile i can use both cdma and gsm sim cards on same sim slot so please guide me through and tell me can i flash this rom on my razr hd running ICS
First what all working
1. Will I be able to use both cdma and gsm sim cards on same sim slot after flashing this rom
2.is data network 3G and 4G working for both cdma and gsm
3. Is wifi and wifi hotspot/tethering working
4. How is the battery backup
5. Overall miui look is it laggy or display proper
6.also is my external memory card working

On 27 nightly rotation seems to be broken. I'm sure y'all are aware. I rarely post on xda ever, but in all honesty this has to be the most stable PAC has been since 4.1-4.2. Everything works perfect and I appreciate all your hard work. Wakka wakka

Baseband is independent of any ROMs. Use the best one that works for you.

Hi,
I just come back from the cm12, because the wifi is not stable...
I like a few thinks of the CM12. For example the new google keyboard. I have noticed, that it can be installed from play store and this is what I made yesterday, but it doesn't work with the Pac Man version pac_bacon-nightly-20141126. I have installed and unisntall the app, restore the phone, and look all the option that the system have for the keyboard, but it doesn´t work. The main problen is that it doesn't appear. I installed the swiftkey app and no problem.
Any solution? Or it doesn't work for this rom?

blank screen issue pac rom 4.4.4
i am using pac rom 4.4.4 latest build. i am facing a problem. After the screen is locked, i can't unlock it. Also, when i place a call, the screen gets blank and unless the call ends, i can open the screen. any help!

I know I'm asking a nooby question. But is it really really necessary to wipe the system partition while flashing ROMs? Or just a factory reset will do the trick? X_X
